Guild Week Update-
I created a thread in the Contest Subforum for a Photo Caption contest for guild week. I really enjoyed the last photo contest we had. Also, for people who may by shying away from our twin avatar contest-- the caption contest will be an option for people with very limited inventories. All you need is a sense of humor and creativity-- something everyone in the guild has!
We're still open to ideas for guild week.
I can arrange a thread for a "Secret Santa" like event if people would still like to do that. I think how we will conduct that is by having people who join it send gifts to Methuselah-- make sure you have your name on it. Then Main Man will re-distribute the gifts anonymously to all those participating. Sound fair?

Sounds like a great idea. Is there going to be a spending limit or a how much it is worth limit?

Anyway, I'll have to check out the photo contest. Nothing else really seems to be of note to me or of interest. I can't afford to do the santa gifting thing at the moment as I'm on a quest of my own. sweatdrop Sorry everyone! Don't hate me. *hides under her desk so as not to be hit*

You know now that I remember, the last Secret Santa thing we did we had a minimum amount. We might also so a maximum amount as well? What are people's thoughts on it?

Guild Week Updates- YIPPY!
We are almost ready to set our avatar contest in motion-- so don't forget to sign up ASAP! Also remember, that if you have concerns about possible pairings please pm me before the pairs are set. I will not tell anyone your concerns, but let me know soon!
Photo Caption:
Help us pick the pic! Kairi has already posted two great photos. If you have your own funny picture post it soon, and help us select the photo to make captions for. Once the photos are up I will open the thread to the "Captions" or phrases you make up to accompany the photo. Then the best caption will be chosen by a vote via a poll in the thread.
Secret Santa:
How much gold do participants wish to spend? I will make a thread once we decide on a good range.

Thank you for your nominations. I know with 500+ members we have many, many people to nominate. At the end of the week we will have an "awards ceremony". Not recognized? With our most generous and friendly member being anonymous (our beloved Phantom Gifter) we realize not everyone may receive the recognition they deserve. So let's nominate lots, and LOTS of people! If nothing else, consider the thread one big love fest-- or a chance to embarrass your friends. You may find also that in nominating someone else you get nominated yourself-- karma-tastic!
