"If I have an eating disorder, then I can't name," Alex shrugged, looking at the sandwichhed made; damn. He spaced out. And now it had some sort of happy face on it made from various fruits. . .
Rick was rubbing off on him. . .
"Well, this thing is all done," he sighed, backing away from it and moving over to the sink, where he washed and dried his hands. "So Laura's learning new tricks, huh? I bet she'll be ecstatic when she shows her dad."

"I see. . ." There was a fly buzzing around Yukiko and she was watching it. Everytime it landed on the walls and seemed to stay there for a really long time when it was actually only seconds. Even when it tried those super-fast tricks so to try and make you lose sight of them. As if by natural instinct or something she kept watching it. "She might be. . ." By then Yukiko was looking up at the celing. She felt like Mikarou. Not with evey bug though. There was just something about flies for some reason. . . "Forgot to ask, how's Rick?" she asked him, still looking up.

"He's fine. Still as hyper as ever, though that's hardly a problem. But he kept bouncing around at the four or five inns we stopped out," Alex replied, stretching a little before walking over and sitting on one of the chairs at the dining table; he truly felt exhausted. More mentally than physically but. . .he could deal. Though he swore he would never fly again.

Yukiko was still staring at the fly on the celing. "That's good. Nanjiro bounces around too. Laura a little less. . . but we shouldn't give her a lot of candy." She glanced over at Alex. "You seem tired."

"I feel tired, too. But it's nothing that a simple rest can't cure," Alex assured. He didnt really feel the need to divulge any information. Not yet, anyway. "Yuri tried to keep me in bed for another day because I'd somehow managed to get sick four days before that. I probably should've listened." He shrugged. "Nothing I can do about it now."

"Probably." Yukiko watched the fly go elsere and directed her dark brown eyes at Alex. "Nothing you can do besides going to sleep?" She stretched her arms out in front of her.

There's also going after the b*****d I'm looking for. But hell if I'm doing that right now,he thought. "Yeah. Nothing but sleep, which I probably won't get for a good few hours," he said, looking right back at Yukiko. "Maybe I'll force myself, though. Because by now Yuri is probably sleeping with Rick."

"And knowing Dakota and what state she's in right now, she's probably asleep with them too." Yukiko sighed a bit and leaned against the wall crossing her arms. "Hmph. I dunno how well she'll handle her first litter of pups. Or Cody. They'll be great parents though, I bet," she said thinking about Dakota and Cody.

"I never imagined they'd get together," Alex said, shaking his head slightly. It was a little strange at first, but now the two seemed perfect! "But you're right. They'll be great parents. Especially Cody because he had practice." He stretched again before he stood up, walking over to the back door and opening it, though he looked back at Yukiko for a moment. "Think I'm going to go visit an old place. You're welcome to come if you want."

"Yeah . ." Yukiko looked up again when she heard the back door open. She pushed off the wall. "Sure. Guess I'll leave Shin with the kids longer. As long as Laura has someone to cling to, and Nanjiro has someone to run around, they'll be fine," she said and followed Alex to the back.

Yukiko arrived near the front of Alex and Yuri's house later than it would've usually taken. Then again she was walking pretty slow. Every once in a while she checked behind her to see if Adrian and Cody were still behind her.

Alex sighed, making his to the back of his house and slipping back inside, wincing when the door was rather loud. Great. He really wanted to wake up his family now. Especially since--he groaned when another dizzy spell washed over him, nearly making him collapse. He at least managed to make his way over to the couch, where he collapsed and lay there on his back, eyes closed when the room started to spin; damn Shiro. Damn him to the darkest depths of Hell.
Rick stirred roughly, breaking his way out of his mother's grasp, yelping when he fell over the edge of the bed and landed on the ground. "Oww," he mumbled, sitting up and rubbing his head. He was at least glad he hadn't landed on Button, though his doggy friend had women up. "Sorry, Puppy! Didn't mean to wake you," he giggled, gushing up quickly and looking up at the bed; good. Mommy still asleep with. . .Dakota? Cool! Was Jiro here, then?!
Suddenly excited, he scrambled to his feet and dashed out of the room, closely followed by Button as the two went to the living room. Upon sight of Alex, the five year old jumped on top of him, clinging tightly to his waist. "Daddy, Daddy! Is Jiro here?"
Alex coughed, suddenly feeling a weight on him as he tried to sit up, chuckling as he saw his son attempting to squish him to death. "Nice to see you, too. No, Nanjiro isn't here, but his mother did stop by. I guess Dakota fell asleep."
((EDIT ALERT! EDIT ALERT!))
Adrian managed to keep up with Yukiko, looking up at the house and whistling. "Wow. It's definitely bigger than my house."

Cody padded up alongside adrian glancing from the boy to yuki. "It is bigger, come on lets follow the stubborn brat in..make sure he hasnt collapsed" as it had happened to often in the past, alex hurt himself, ignored it and ended up passing out on them..tsk stubborn child still hadnt learned his limits."Maybe rick will be awake" he could smell dakotas scent from here...ah so shed followed yuki to alexs..good he missed her.
