i went to turn around and i hit someone(on purpose) with my trumpet in the leg. It got all red and puffy. twisted

My friends and I were sitting on the floor and leaning against the cabnet that held our uniforms. I had my instrument in my hands. (I play flute.) My friend on my left grabbed and we were having a tug-o-war. Well she let go and I got hit in the mouth and hit my head on the cabnet. My lip started bleeding.
I have also ran into the tuba and gotten a big bruise. My trombone friend also thought it funny to hit me with it over the head.

I was standing at the front of the band room twirling my flute in my hand and I whipped it forward and the end flew off and hit a sax player in the back, hard.

Well, there are these two really annoying trumpet players in my band. I play Bass Clarinet, so I have a metal stick I use to keep it at face level... Umm... One of them got hit pretty hard with it... LoL

i dislocated and broke my elbow last week, doing something non-band related(i can still play though) but the other day, i was reaching behind me to get something and i whacked my elbow straight into a music stand. i have a big bruise now.
also, a few years ago, i had to a have a piece of a reed surgically removed from my lip after it broke while i was playing.

While were putting out instruments together, i dropped it on someone's head. (poor friend. she got hit in the head with the bell of my clarinet! xD) It was funny though.

i haven't hurt myself or other people with instruments, but i have gotten hit in the face with guard flags many times -12-
it hurts like hell too

I hit my friend yesterday in the face, with my trombone. And my section leader, Russ, almost broke my nose with his trombone at band camp. Yaaaay

i almost knocked my frint two teeth out when i ran into the back a tuba with the bell of my trombone. but i thought it was funny because i got to sit out for a week

my brass marching trumpet is so old
it somehow got cut on the rim of the bell so now a bit of metal sticks out dangerously
and I'm guessing you can already tell where this is going...
we were in the stands doing horn flashes and I literally cut the person's arm next to me with the bell
it was pretty nasty

My one friend got their flute parts such as the mouthpiece( or head joint I'm not sure what to call it) and other pieces stuck on her fingers. We had to get a machine to help us take them off it was a funny day. Once I accidentally hit myself in the nose with my trumpet. My other friend her her eye with her sax. And my other friend got their arm stuck in the tuba.

I almost took someone's head off with my flute during marching season.
I had to march one of my sets backwards, and a trumpet was coming forwards in my direction-only I couldn't see them because they were behind me. ^_^ So, my flute hit the trumpet square in the neck, even though they tried to duck. It wasn't my fault.
And it was at competition....

Arabella Dawson I was in Sypmhonic Band a few weeks ago and I was talking to the director. Then I went to move and I stabbed myself in the eye with my bass clarinet reed. I screamed so loud! It was funny afterwards...it hurt like a mother-- tho. OMG oMG oMG that happend to me so amny time lol

OMG so here i go i was marching with the band and all was kewl and a symbol player was changing sides with her symbols, and then threw one up into the air, to catch it with her other hand, but she missed. I tried to catch it, but it ended up slicing from between my index finger and thumb down to my forearm. ow.
i went to a nice little private. school and said Motherf*cker really loudly

There is a very annoying percussionist in my band who insists upon touching my flute. One day, I played the highest note I could play on piccolo in his ear because he touched my flute. He was in pain for a very long time. Yes, it was sinful, but it felt good temporarily. I would recommend doing this to annoying trumpet players and (of course) percussionists.
