"Why, thank you, Ms. Constance!" Nina said smiling brightly. She shoved a spoon into her oatmeal and took a bite. After swallowing, she spoke again. "We're getting a special guest? Who?"
She leaned on the back of her chair so that only the back two legs were supporting her weight. Rocking a few times, the setting it back in the correct possition after a small almost inaudible crack was heard, causing her to look a little sheepish.

"Oh dear, I misspoke. "Special guests, plural." She grinned, "And if I told you then it would ruin the surprise. Now sit in that chair properly and finish your breakfast. No being late. That goes for all of you." She admonished gently then put her hands on her hips and looked upwards, "Luke is sleeping in....again." She pursed her lips together.

Alan was taking an aim for his sausage when Ms. Constance spook to him. He missed his fork prong sliding across the plate with a screech. "Y..yes..it it...v..very..." He nodded looking back down at his plate as he skewered the sausage. His cheeks had a slight reddening to them as he slowly finished his egg, toast, and sausage. He did look over at the mention of "guests". He just hoped it was not a parents night. His right hand rested heavily on his lap as he thought about "father".

"But it could be our secrete, I wouldn't tell anybody!" Nina smirked, playing around a little. "Nah, I'm kidding. It'd be no fun for me either then!"
The screech of plate to metal made her freeze, then rub her ears.
"Jeeeeeez, Alan!" She said playfully, then continued eating. The Fae girl picked up fork and bit of half the sausage link.

Constance winced at the sharp sound as well but didn't say anything, taking a seat next to Letty, putting some food on her plate and reaching over to wipe a few crumbs off the young girls face.

Letty cocked her head when Constance mentioned special guests, "A surprise?" she asked quietly before looking down to her plate in thought. It wasn't long until the loud screech from Alan's plate caused her to cover her ears. "Awooo!" she howled, whimpering since her little ears were very sensitive, especially when it was going to be a full moon tonight. She put her hands down on the table gently as Constance put some food on her plate, making a funny face as she wiped it with a napkin.
By now, Aristotle had made his way back between Constance's and Letty's chairs. It was quite a feat for the Haven house to take the time to move Aristotle around for Letty, making her believe that her beloved stuffed cat was actually alive. Her best friend being a cotton-filled toy was childish, but she was in fact a child, and it was quite normal for human children to have imaginary friends, too.

Adrianna smiled at Constance.
- "I knew there was going to be a surpise, that's why I had gotten up so early. I felt the energy."
She pushed away her meal gently before standing and giving Letty a peck on the forhead and then leaned against the wall.
- "Luke sleeping in again? No suprise. What does he do so late?"

Alan set his fork down his face going red from the sudden out burst of noise he caused. He hung his head a little staring at his food. Stupid stupid stupid... He muttered in his head. He glared at the last piece of sausage angrily the true cause of all the noise. "Damn hand..." He said with a sigh resting his head on his hand.

MXT Alan set his fork down his face going red from the sudden out burst of noise he caused. He hung his head a little staring at his food. Stupid stupid stupid... He muttered in his head. He glared at the last piece of sausage angrily the true cause of all the noise. "Damn hand..." He said with a sigh resting his head on his hand.
- "Think of it not as a curse, but as a gift, little brother."
She gave him a helpful smile and regained her place at the wall, arms crossed behind her back.

"Don't sweat the small stuff!" Nina said brightly, finishing of her oatmeal and spearing the final sausage link with her fork. She then picked up her breakfast dishes and took them to the kitchen. After a quick wash, she came back to the dining room.
"Hey Dree, do we have something special planned on our own agendas?" The Fae asked her fellow Misfit.

Dree grinned at Nina. The two had always seemed to get along better than most others in the Haven house.
She thought for a moment and shrugged as nothing came to her mind.
- "I have no idea, maybe Luke has something planned for us when he wakes up?"
She looked at the ceiling. Wishing Luke would wake up and tell the Misfits what their agenda was.

"Lazy bones might not wake up for a while." Nina said, looking at the ceiling too. There wasn't anything interesting up there, so she put her head back in it's normal possition.
"If nothing else, there's always school, right!" She grinned, almost from ear to ear. It was hard to put a damper on her mood.

Adriana had to laugh at Nina's last question, she shook her head wildly as if to get a bug away from her.
- "No way. School bites worse than I do... we need some actual fun. Some Misfit kinda fun."
She bit her lip, her teeth covered her snake bites and replaced them with her inscissors. She thought, hard.
Ugh. Get up Luke!

"Work always comes before play, Miss Adriana, you know that." She chided Dree gently and smiled at the two chatting girls before her gaze settled on Alan worriedly. She wondered when he'd finally not be ashamed of how he looked....perhaps a trip to the Unseelie court would cure him. He'd be a celebrity there....She sighed and concentrated on eating. There were still a few things that needed to be set up for the party tonight, not to mention since Luke was being a straggler this morning, she'd be travelling to school with them.

Crystalina reached for her sister in her sleep. Nightmares of the dark, evil humans that kidnapped the twins flooded her dreams again. Silent tears ran down her cheeks, her face was distorted with pain and fear.
- "Ana..."
Anastacia looked down at her sister and put her novel down.
Another dream?
Her arms wrapped around Crystalina and she held her sister until the tears stopped and big emerald eyes looked up at her own.
- "Im here, Crys. They are gone...we are in Haven, where I and the other Misfits will protect you...no more fear."
Crystalina sat up and rubbed her eyes; she felt the wet and her cheeks turned red as she realized she was crying in her sleep again.
Anastacia stood up and stretched.
- "Lets go eat some breakfast. Constance is gonna be mad we're late. Hurry."
She left the room while she said this and made it to the dining area.
Crystalina wiped off her face and smiled after her sister. Ana was so brave, and cheerful...how she envied that.
When they reached the breakfast room they both spoke in unison.
- "GoodMorning."
