Thanks guys. I'd like to say I'm doing better, but I'm not. My head feels like my avatar's head. Woke up with a 101 fever and had some strange auditory hallucinations last night. Is no fun.

Why kind of hallucinations (you can email/call me about it later if you want, I know that's sort of a sensitive question)?

I'm still trying to piece all these symptoms together and figure out what has you so sick. It almost sounds like a serotonin problem. I'm a little rusty on the physiological/neurological stuff. However, I do think Serotonin might have a role in both hallucinations as well as temperature regulation.

If it keeps up like this I might hunt down good old Aruguete and get her feedback. Hallucinations could be caused by the fever, but it seems the connecting link is the role of serotonin in your system. You did get a hint nauseous after the soup the other day.

Erm, it might be worth heading back to the doctor....surely you should be at least starting to feel better by now, not worse!

Still sick? *shakes head* That's no good, no good at all. I think Doressa could be right, mayeb you should give the dr another go, even if it didn't do you any good last time. You might get a different, better one this time.

Well, I've been in the hospital for 2 days now. Apparently the duck is Mono and a spinal headache caused by those spinal taps. Apparently I used more tylenol than I should've (though I was within the bottle's limits for a day) and something is wrong with my liver, so they're holding me for observation.

WOW. Mono is way better than Meningitis, but STILL. I didn't even know you got feverish with mono.

They released me with instructions to stay hydrated and not drink any alcohol or exert myself for a while. I think I can do that. biggrin

You had best heed that too. No need to tax your liver more than it already has been.
