Funny Story about Knives-
My boyfriend and I were at this rehearsal dinner for his friend's wedding. Well the Bride and Groom-to be come up to our table after dinner talking to everyone. So then the bride, I kid you not, looks it David and I and says "looks like you two will be next".
Awkward moment, very awkward. So I look around for anything, anything at all.
I pick up a knife and go "Knife!"
That's me, a wizard at the art of disarming potentially awkward conversations.
