~slids out of his corner~

Okay...

My frist job, real job, was working for the library system in the town I grew up in. Shelving, shifting, repairing, sorting, fighting with patrons, you get the idea. I kept that job for 7 years, even when I moved to another city for school.

Current job: Same thing. I came back when I moved back to Ohio for school. I've been back for a month now and I'm ready to beat people. Besides I don't have much incentive to stay since I'm only making min. wage. I may try moving up in the system but then I don't really want to deal with the B.S. that is Ohio Public Libraries.

My dream job would be teaching or running around being the spy that I really am. Something that would allow me to travel and being the genearl polyglot that I am.

As for Headhunter... the answer is yes.

1. My first job was working as a counselor at a summer program. It was really fun in the beginning, because our bosses were really lax and the kids were cool. Over time, though, because it was a government funded job, they got all concerned with liability and stuff and it stopped being fun. confused

2. I have two jobs currently. The one I'm working at as I type this is as a computer lab rat. I sit here and wait for the printer to need paper or for people to have questions and make sure people aren't eating and stuff like that. The second job is an internship with a different set of technology folks on campus. I do a lot of tallying things and conducting focus groups and making digital tutorials. It's alright, but it sucks never seeing any money for all the work I do. It's a job that pays for my tuition and fees, and if I don't work a minimum number of hours, I have to pay the university back...so basically, indentured servitude.

3. My dream job would be to travel and work as a freelance translator, at the moment. Hopefully somehow helping people, mebbe by being a translator for non-profits or something. Something where I'd still have free time to explore and have adventures, and where I'd get to spend time outdoors instead of just inside all the time.

4. I'm not sure. eek
