I seriosuly cannot not love this anime more than i do omg the amount of times it had be in tears D:
I also really loved how it was so different from the original play <3 I'm screaming now, screaming now, screaming now.

And i'm opening the window as if to look out... I just think the kinda...darkness of the play would've looked stupid as an anime it would be like drawing a really serious scene as chibi's....it dosen't quite work xDD I'm screaming now, screaming now, screaming now.

I don't know, they've pulled off some pretty dark stuff with anime. So they probably could've captured that, but I don't think it would have gone over well. The story's just not the made of the stuff it takes for a good anime. It would've ended up badly. Hmm. . .
I'm a tad upset they made Mercutio a kind of bad character - he was my favorite character in the original. Maybe he turns around though, I've only seen 10 episodes so far.
