omg I totaly have a bob. He's a know-it-all who knows nothing and I want to kill everytime I see him. Just two days ago in band, I was playing the chimes and apparently I wasn't hitting them hard enough so he walks over takes my mallet, strikes the chime and goes "THat's how you play the chimes." In front of the whole class. URGH! I swear I was going to hit him.

The Bob person in my group is pretty much not annoying. He's the "Man, I'm glad this guy is in my section" person. He's like Jack Sparrow but without the hat. He's funny, and a bell player but he scares me. Really. Big Time. I just think he's evil, and I'm a naturally paranoid person. But yea, he can either get funny or annoying because he can't really play his bell part that he's serious about.

Yes. Theres two in my band. They both play trumpet. Christopher Reisdorf(or Reisdork as we call him), and Mustagh(pronounced "mush-ta", but we just call him mushy). Reisdork whines a lot. About everything. He and Mustagh have loud, squeky voices (the kind I hate) and they are SO annoying. There are only 2 percussionists in my band(me and my friend Alex) and we are constantly fooling around in the back of the room, making fun of ather people(in a fun way *wink*), making smart a** jokes really loud, and getting in trouble for it. twisted Reisdork and Mushy constantly turn around and WHINE at us really loud, then another trumpet tells them to shut up, and all the trumpets start bickering. They end up getting in trouble. xp So I guess is it saves me the N for effort on my report card, its worth it.

we do have a Bob See im in pit, and its my first year. I've been in percussion for a while though.
So a lot of new people kept getting new people who have never played in percussion before. Well we got about five new players out of a nine person pit. So Most of them were good, would listen and wouldnt play around with the percussion instruments when they didnt play them. But there was one. One who wouldnt listen. Every five minutes he had to argue with us. He yelled that he hated pit at least half an hour of our rehearsals were wasted on arguing with him because he wouldnt shut up, play his part right, or not touch other instruments that werent his. He played crash cymbals because that was the last part we had. We had techies tell him to go home and he wouldnt. No other section wanted him. Literally he had been moved from like three other sections and they said they put him in pit because he "couldnt march" No one likes him he has some mental illness and he obviously dosent do anything about it. He always complained that he hated pit, like said before, and that he was going to improve his marching and get out of pit. Now hes saying he wants to do it again next year. Which means we gotta suffer again. He cant play and refuses to work with us. he plays with the percussion instruments improperly and does it when people are talking.

I'm in color guard and in our guard we have a peeking order. Freshman are to be seen but not heard. sophomores are too help the new-bes the most and also just for if they want to be capitain next year. juniors are to work ******** hard and while they can correct any one below them and tell them if they are doing something wrong. Then 'Top Of The Food-chain' are the seniors, who can correct you, yell at you, and get solos. Well this year we had a winter guard and we happened to get two band members to join us. Thats all fine and what ever but theguy that joind us is acting like he's been there the whole four years.
1) He's new to guard.
2) He used to make fun of guard.
3) He doen't know s**t what he's doing and he talks as if he was our coach.
4) He is only allowed on flag because he didn't amke weapon line, but when the guard is in our classes he goes to the guard closet and spins others rifles with out permision!
We all really just hate him.
'BOB' pisses every one off!

uoutamborine Well, my situation isn't...nice. You see, my friend is in fact "bob". She's a bass player and she thinks that she can be snare instantly after eigth grade! I don't know about you guys, but it's been a tradition that -unless an emergency- we DO NOT have freshmen snares!!! I even had to wait! But now it's my turn and this new director is changing everything up and he's putting two snares when we are in a desperate NEED for basses!! And she's extremely proud, always playing snare beats on the bass and talking about "when we're snares together" I love her to death, but the girls' got to learn the rules!!! at home we wont allow freshmen in drum line at all even in desprate times all percusion froshies go to pit.

in my gaurd there are 2 grils i just can't stand i want to take my rifel and bash there brains in. scream AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
They both act like they are better than me only because they are jumiors but last year as sphmores they were they rookies just like me and they both persume to tell me what the F**k to do and that i'm wrong with my work! HAH!! If thats true then how in the world did i get a solo??? I mean i'm not saying they compeletly suck but if i'm getting solos and complements from both the band directer and our garud instructer(which is not very easy to do either task) then who the heck do they think they are?? Any way they are the only 2 ppl how have yet to get that i have alot more of experence than they do, only because i have had older cusins go through the exact same band as i am in now and plenty my cusins had to babysit me, so that ment taking mr to band rehersals. And the year before i was in indoor garud and they weren't so they need to find out how to worry about thereselves before i do take my rifel and bash there brains in.
