But in stories where there is a teacher/student relationship and the teacher is the uke, I'm just not attracted to it. There's just something about a 30 year old being completely dominated by a 17 year old that bothers me. Especially if the teacher is overly bottom...I can't take it.

& both being seke^^ -- I prefer then to be in there teens to young adults.

I'm sick of girly, young ukes. I like my boys to be about the same hight, and NOT in high-school. Older guys are awesome. I also like switchable pairings, sekes, you know.
wink Of course, if the yaoi is great, my complaints about looks and age are usually forgotten.

I'm not really that fussy - the seme should be no more then ten years older than the uke, or the uke no more than five years younger. I like pairing that switch - sekes. I don't like pairings with guys over thirty-ish - it's just weird - unless they're about that age and act/look young anyway. I'm not really bothered how young the uke is, just so long as they're not ten, or something, I like shota but it'd be odd if there was an eleven-year-old with a... twenty-year-old or something. Okay - maybe I am fussy.

For me, it doesn't really matter, as long as the smut is good, I'm good, and the characters have to be really smexy.
But I do have a weakness for the seme to be older(student) and the uke to be younger(teacher) Sometimes the other way around though to.
In conclusion, age isn't a big deal for me.

.... I don't really have a age preference as long as it doesn't go TO young. I actually like the idea of a seme being younger then the uke but that could be because I read a lot of highschool setting yaoi.
I know when I write stories I always have usually a 10 year age gap at the most between my characters (but then I also tend to ignore the uke/seme rolls also).
