I don't know if I can accept these banners, because it looks like you just plucked these images off the net and are trying to pass them as banners. Please remember these are banners and not just random sig images. If this not art theft, then please correct me and I'll gladly accept these as entries to the contest.

SuperDuperRockLee- I did get your submission.
A new rule that I just added:
Your banners must retain some significance to the guild. You are making banners for the guild. Nothing random that has nothing to do with the guild. Once again let me stress that these are BANNERS. Not just random images that relate to music. (And I will not accept images just swiped off the net and you call them a banner. I also will not accept art theft.)
And two new tips:
Though not required, but it would be very nice if the banner said "Band Nerd Guild" on it. (In fact your chances of winning are going to be MUCH higher if it says Band Nerd Guild. These banners are for members to put in their sig to advertise- and how are people going to know what we're advertising if there isn't a name on there?)
Please be very careful about using art and/or images. Art theft is high among the internets and not every image you run across is for free use. Remember these are banners, not just random band-related images.

Art is one thing, but quoting is a different matter. You don't have to credit a quote if you don't want to. I'm not going to hold it against you. But an interesting story about using other's quotes, is that I used to actually host all of our banners, and then my account completely died and we lost all of our banners. (This is why I won't host them any more.) So we had a little rally to get members to make us some new ones. And this one person made us a few really nice banners with catchy slogans on it. A few months past and other people made us banners . . . with the same slogans. The original maker of the banners got pissed and we said we had to take down the banners she made for us (I believe we still have the "copied" ones . . . not to sure this was AGES ago, we may have taken them down too).
