Yeah, I've seen the anime too. I actually really enjoyed it, though the manga is a hundred times better. I prefer the spinoff anime Negima!? because the plot steers away from the manga and becomes it's own series. It's sooo funny too XD With a few new characters thrown into the mix.

Lol I've only seen a few eps of it but for some reason it just rubs me the wrong way xD;
As for Negima?! I haven't seen it, though i've heard it's better than the original anime many times.

Yeah yeah, so much better! It just goes and does it's own thing, rather than carbon copying the manga. My brother followed the fansub torrents and burnt them onto disk for me ^____^

[ ahaha i love it when one of my fav series has art that i really dig, it helps me love it even more :3 ] and I want to see Negima?! and maybe eventually see the rest of the first anime.

Negima! Yes. Finally I love Ken, he's so amazing. Ecchi = <3 Umm, I'm a huge fan of the manga series (volumes 1-14 sit on my bookshelf) I haven't seen the anime, I just peeked in on it to hear the english voiceovers, I wasn't impressed XD I love Negi so much. He's so adorable. My favorite student would have to be Student 1, Sayo. I so feel for her. I hope she too gets a Pactio with Negi.  Sayo!!! Also, besides Negi of course, I love Kotaro, the Inugami. He and Negi go at it, but Negi never gets all worked up like Kotaro. It's so cute! Kotaro.

Midoori Negima! Yes. Finally I love Ken, he's so amazing. Kotaro is sooo cute, he makes such a good friend to Negi. He's also quite the bish when he and Negi use the aging spell <3 For a harem manga, it's nice to think that Ken is thinking about the ladies too XP

So, we're flipping through a lil free anime/manga magazine, and we come across a Love Hina pic, and my friend was like, HOLY CRAP! IT LOOKS JUST LIKE NEGIMA!!!!!111!1!! THEY COPIED NEGIMA! D< and so we were all - :O!!!! and then later on I found out on my own they were by the same manga-ka xDDD. Yeah, if you can't tell, the magazine didn't say who the manga-ka for it was xD.

Haha XD Thats funny. Especially considering how long before Negima! Akamatsu wrote Love Hina. hehe. It's really easy to notice which characters are inspired by who, but I guess we've gotta give him credit for the multitude of characters he's created! I can't imagine conjuring up thirty-one original female chracters is easy.

lol, no kidding. I got into Love Hina WAY before I even knew about Negima! They're both good series 3nodding and Akamatsu -does- have a way with drawing women, I love his art style. And I mean really, to get completely original characters, he'd have to not have written Love Hina. I completely agree on that.
But, genrally, they're all original; It's great because I even know people that have similar personalities as characters, I almost wish I knew all of the girls in Negi's class. Hanging around them would be so much fun
A little off-topic, but the Negima! dvd box set was released the other day. Anyone gonna buy it?

I've only got the first volume (DVD) so far, but I probably won't bother with the box set for now. I much prefer Negima!?, so I'll stick to watching that instead. When my brother bought the first volume, it came with a really cute storage chest and Asuna figurine ^o^

And for the record to save my embarrassment, we saw the Love Hina thing when we first got into anime/manga...... sweatdrop ..... so yeah we were introduced to Negima first....
