Hi I'm Halycon and I decided to join because well- I love anime and I can't turn down an invite. My current favorite animes are Berserk and Loveless, yeah I know they might be mainstream but tey aren't as bad as naruto or Bleach. I'm also a fan of Maze and B'tx.
I also love a few lesser known manga so if anyone knows what From Eroica with Love is then please talk to me.
I try to get on Gaia for a few hours a day, so I'll be here alot.

Hiya I'm Swefn :3 My name is Kristin, I'm 18 and I live in Colorado. I like all types of manga and anime, but I tend to prefer psychologic thriller/horror manga and romantic comedy anime (I know... such a huge genre-gap there XD).
I think Junji Ito is awesome and my list of favorite manga is mostly just a list of his works XP Um, but I also liked reading Monster, Death Note, and (though I haven't finished it yet) The Drifting Classroom. Some of my favorite anime shows are Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Full Metal Panic!, and The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.
I joined this guild because the a/m/c is silly and repetitive and you guys are wonderful. Hehe I've been spoiled by all this fun and intelligent manga/anime conversation... I can't go back~

Ive been a fan of Anime for many years, starting with the Macross series.
Im 25, from Michigan and really wish I could afford more anime/manga.
I enjoy Gundam, Macross/Robotech, Ranma 1/2, Tenchi Muyo, Dragon ball series, basically anything with giant robots, cute girls or martials artists, or a combo of them.

I like most anime, but for some reasone i stop liking them when too many people follow it sad . I hate it we people who dont understand whats going on in a series calls it crappy, and i also hate it when they say that anime is only made to make money evil
About me: i'm 18 I live in holland on campuss IOW alone! I'm a "college" (or something liuke one)
And I luyve invetigating new options rofl

Dang it, you guys went ahead while I was in bed.. Ah well I'm here now ^-^
Cara here, completely ADHD (doctor diagnosed, Pshah!) and hopelessly obsessed with anime/manga.
Uhh, I don't wanna say my age whee I feel so young, you're all older than me.. sweatdrop 15..
I'm a die-hard Fushigi Yuugi fan (Genbu Kaiden too ^-^) and also love Watase's other works, though I haven't managed to read Alice 19th or Imadoki! yet.
Other anime/manga I like include, (but are not limited too as I may forget some sweatdrop ) I have seen the anime for most of these but don't know exact episode numbers so I'm listing as manga volumes for how far I've gotten
Ayashi no Ceres (up to Volume cool
Loveless (up to volume 6)
MagicalXMiracle (up to volume 4)
Gundam Wing (Umm.. 3/4 of the way through the serise ish)
Absolute Boyfriend (Up to volume 3 I think, maybe 4)
Yami no Matsuei (all? I'm not sure..)
Full Mon wo Sagashite (Volume 1 XD)
And I wanna see Weiss Kreuz but haven't managed to get it yet.
Ok, lemme explain this one. Yu-Gi-Oh duel monsters is pretty mainstream, right? Well has anyone ever heard of the original Yu-Gi-Oh serise, or Yu-Gi-Oh 0? Well that has very little to do with the card monster things. It's way darker and portrays Yami (the pharoh) in a far darker light. Normal student Yugi figures out the secret to a Millenium puzzle and unknowingly releases Yami. Yami takes over whenever someone does something bad to Yugi and challenges the person to a Shadow Game. If they break the rules they either go completely insane, or die. Most of 'em break the rules. This is a prequel to the main serise but was never released in england as it was deemed 'too violent'. Personally I love it.
Yeah, feel free to chat to me about these or recommend somemore. I love Shoujo and enjoy quite a bit of Shounen too. Just gimme a description. Dark, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, go for it.
And.. Did I miss something? XD Does this name stand for something or is it just random?

My favorite anime are Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, Air (I loooooove KyoAni), Full Metal Panic, Inuyasha, Kiddy Grade, The Legend of Black Heaven...well, I could go on. xD In manga, I like Fruits Basket, Maison Ikkoku, and XXXHolic.
Other than that, there's not much you need to know about me, except that I'm a crazy anti-downloading industry supporter. I want to be a translator in the future...and I'm really worried about getting into the colleges I want.

I got invited by metalmariogc. And for some reason, I clicked on the link to decline by accident. -smacks self- Well I'm not here to talk about that.
I'm Asian, but I live somewhere in Canada. I'm more of a manga fan, so don't wack me for not seeing the anime adaptation of a few series. I've been a bit reluctant to watch anime after some experiences of it turning out to be heaps of garbage compared to the manga. But that doesn't mean I don't watch anime at all. I'm just more into reading the manga.
I like BL, slash, and yaoi. Favorite series would be Monster, Gintama, Romeo x Juliet, Kyo Kara Maou!, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE [ the manga; the anime was horrible ].

^_^ Hey. I'm Myrrddin. I joined because Naruto threads make me cry. So does Gyaku Manga Biyori, but that's from laughter, so all is well.
I love subtitled anime, obscure Manga (though I don't own many) and weird / original series.
My favorite character is Ryou and Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh! (stop laughing). They count as one because I said so.
My favorite anime among the recent obscure is Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, a comedy satire. Though really, if you take out the comedy, it becomes terribly depressing. It was released in 2007.
My favorite anime among the older obscure is Kaikan Phrase (for some reason that I will never understand). It's one of those band anime. Like Beck, only with a main character that isn't an idiot. Umm...I don't actually know when the anime was released, but the manga first started in 1997.
Ah, yes. I'd also like to know what T.E.N.T.A.C.L.E.S. stands for. o_o;; Or do we have to make up our own answer?

etc... I guess you could say I dont have a favorite...I've watched so many and I like almost all of them!
I actually am going to start my own manga soon-ish once I feel more comfortable with my manga drawing skills (and I buy shader markers lol).
