BellaTheDevious Oh please the percussionist would be too busy ogling at themselves in the reflection of a tuba!!! (Nothing personal ^.^ My boyfriend is actually a Tenor ) Our band room has one wall covered in mirrors, and it's by the percussion equipment, actually. The drummer would win. She'd come up behind the guardie and steal her flag, then shank her with it.

Guard. I've done it to a trombone before and in my band the percussion is to busy pissing off the band director so they wouldn't care.

i'm a guard member, but honestly the trombones would win XD.
and they don't care about bending their trombones. one of the boys at my school dented his trombone and then purposely backed over it with it's car. it's hanging in the band office as some sort of trophy. 3nodding

cuz we we attack with our flags if someone other then the guard toches our stuff

...trumbone...b/c they have parts tht they can take apart and use for diffferent places to beat u up...flagpole, u rap them in the flag but most likely the pole cant come off so ur screwed!!!

Actually the pole can some off and I think that some of you bandies forget we have multiple weapons. Literally. We have sabers, rifles and flags. So a bandie no matter what they play, would lose.

One comment, who cares? A guard and a trombone would be a boring a** fight. Now, a bass and a snare, big powerful attacks vs. small dinky hits, that's a freaking fight when it's the sections leaders up against eachother(I'm the section leader for the bass and one of my best friends is the section leader for the snares lol). The bass would own. Once you learn the skill you can actually move faster than the snare, it's all about balance.

Flag. First of all, our band doesn't march trombones, and if they do, why did all of our trombones march something else? Second, one of said people is "married" to half the guard, and the other half are his "children", [he happens to be my "father"] why would he come after us? Now us on the other hand...we're crazy. We have mood swings like WHOA. But hey, we're girls! Anyway, our band doesn't really trust our flagline, well, they didn't. We had to earn trust big times since five of the seven of us were new. After tossing parallels over a flutes head for weeks until drill was fixed, I think they learned to trust me. But come on, flags are more out there [mentally] than trombones! We'd win any day.

Yes the truth is spoken..Bass drummers would kick snare drummers A** in a heartbeat. in my band the snare drummers would say they where better than the Bass drummers, so we would have a race with our drums on down the football field and back in teams of two...bass drummers Won of course

Well, I'd say the trombone would win if the drumline didn't throw any sticks/mallets at them. Mostly because I have a VERY violent friend who plays trombone. Yeah.
