The ending wasn't actually that perfect, it's probably about what Harry's life would've been like if his parents hadn't died. But why the hell would you name a kid Albus Severus? He's gonna get beaten up on the playground. And why don't they mention George at all? And why didn't someone name one of their kids Fred? And how come they don't at least describe Teddy the technicolor werewolf? I mean come on, he has to be ridiculously cool. Even if they did kill off his parents who were THE COOLEST characters in that series. *pouts*
Oh, and Lupin is a jerk in the beginning/middle of that book.

There were so many deaths like straight away, like Hedwig dies after like, one chapter. Then George's ear gets blasted off, and billions of people die at the end! I felt so sad when Colin Creevey died. he was so cute! crying

I'm reading the book for the 2nd time now. there were so many death's in the book, its so sad crying I thought that the ending could have been better though. Still, it was an awesome book.

The reason why he ((Hary/ and in retrospect Rowling) name his kid after Dumbldore and snape was because he was paying homage to them, people who if had not been in his life he would have stayed dead. in all other aspects the book was good, sad in parts happy in others and full of suspenseful energy, aswell as action cannot forget that,
all in all a 10 out of ten.

PyroObsession it wasn't awful except for the ending. it was really cheezy and it was like oh so perfect. rolleyes harry should have died sending voldemort to the underworld; fred should have lived and finished his sentence; harry should not have named his kids after dumbledore and snape (*shudder*); he shouldn't have married ginny (too much like fanfiction); and umbridge should have been hanged.
other than that, the action was great, the direction of the series new, and the world continues to revolve in bliss. i'll give the book a 6.99 out of ten, minus major points for the sappy ending. (Reads part where Umbridge should have been hanged |=> rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl So true....so freakin' true!!!! ) As for Deathly Hallows, the book well actually the whole series was good, it helped me kill some time last summer. The final fight between Voldemort and Harry was good. But yeah, Umbridge should have been hanged, also I really enjoyed the fifth book, one of the few of the latter dictionary-sized Harry Potter books that I read four times through. Hated Umbridge though and how they killed off Fred, man!

Such a good ending for a good series. Harry died and came back to life all at once. It was good.

lol i can imagine tht. i really wished they hadn killed fred like tht tho. i mean its jus not the same only havin 1 of the twins left crying . an even tho having umbridge get hanged sounds nice, i like the way she died. haha losing to mrs. weasly, how hummilating it must've been 4 her. i was mad at her for killing dobby tho. WAT DID HE EVER DO 2 HER!

I thought it was stupid how they killed Fred too, and the ending was retarted. There were only a few good parts in the book, and the last chapter made Harry seem like a loser. scream

Wait...out of book experince, sorry!
Any who, the book was good it was bad and some parts were vair vair funny. This book helped me hate The "Dark Lord" for killing of Snape, going to war and killing like, first , second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh years, and J.K for BREACKING ME DREAMS of how awsome Tonks and Lupin are, As well as Snape and Fred.

I know! And then she offed George's ear. I mean whats up with that? I can't believe she killed Tonks and Lupin and they had just gotten a kid. By the end of that book I was bascally ready for her to kill Ron and Herimone lol.
