I hate sticking myself with pins, especially since I have nice, new, clean pins, and they don't hesitate to puncture you.

One, I stuck some tiny scissors in my bag, sat down at the serger to sew something before I left the house, and sat on my bag, and sat on the points of the scissors. I jumped out of the chair, and my mom started laughing, because she realized what I had done. Those scissors really hurt!

I left pins on the capret once, and one almost went right through my toe : o I'm also sometimes scared of sewing over my finger too, haha.

.:: Ouch-- I did that to my Dad. I was sewing on the couch and left a pin sticking strait up in the air, and when he sat on the couch he jumped back up and screamed... it's funny now but it must have really hurt then o.O
Ouch, that is really painful. I accidently sat on something I was pinning a while ago, and it really hurt. It didn't mess up the material, though, so that's good!

(It is kind of funny, though. :3)

xd I've done that before when I had it sitting on my chair and didn't see it.

I'm also afraid to walk around in my room without shoes, because there must be at least 200 pins just waiting for my bare feet. xd
My room is like that too! I hate having to stop my sewing machine to take out pins, so I pull them out as I go along. They usually end up all over the floor, and I have to hunt for them when I'm done sewing. >w<

My little sister did the exact same thing once, exept the scissors were under a piece of cloth. It was rather funny, until I stabbed myself with a pin. :3

I's really hard to get those dumb little things out of carpet though, especially gray carpet where they just sort of blend in and get stuck in there. Another reason I want a sewing room with a tiled floor. xd

I've burned myself so many times, it's not even funny. The first time I made sugar cookies, I was super excited, so I burned myself on the oven rack, and it looks like I did it on purpose. (Allison, if you read this, you can ask to see where it burnt me.) I've also stepped on needles and poked myself alot. At one point in my life, I was scared to death of knives because I had cut myself badly when slicing a tomato, and I even refused to help my mom at dinner because she'd always make me cut something.

I was thinking of that before. That would be beneficial on a tile or other floor, but it's a little different when the pins actually imbed in the carpet. At that point you kind of have to pull them out by hand. 3nodding Or foot, whichever one finds them first XD

I once burnt about a quarter of my left hand on my hair-dryer. Still have a scar from it actually.
My mum also used to work with electronic boards at home and, used to have to snip little pieces of metal off and they went on the floor, like the 5 year old I was, I walked bare footed across her every time. So now I also have little pieces of metal in my feet.
