So, I just now noticed that the title of this thread is "Favoite Anime?" which makes me wonder if he was secretly hinting that the discussion should be about the word "favoite" and its use with "anime" in this context... Or it might just be typo... You never know...

Wow... Necro'd thread. eek Almost a year in the grave, and here it is again. ANYhoo... I'm kinda looking forward to seeing the Uncut versions of both Bleach and Naruto. (I understand he's not nearly as annoying in Japanese.)

Indeed, aretoo, indeed. This isn't even the iteration of this thread that I say good things... Should've necro'ed that one... Anyway, I've only seen Naruto and Bleach in Japanese. I hate the former with an unyielding passion and the love the latter with the same intensity. RE: Elfen Lied — I've seen that series twice now and I still don't get it. The art doesn't stand out, the story is underdeveloped, the characters are shallow... What makes that series so popular? Is it the combination of blood and nudity? [edit] This thread has good combinations of words...

Hmm, not sure. It wasn't the blood and nudity that did it for me.
I actually kind of liked the characters, but the ending was a bit odd.

(I understand he's not nearly as annoying in Japanese.) Not even close. I've only ever seen uncut fansubs. Though I lost interest with that series when it wandered off into useless filler....AGAIN! -_- There's seriously so much of it. At least Bleach filler doesn't last very long, and it's generally enjoyable and funny. It's like a nice little break in the drama to lift everyone's spirits instead of an obvious attempt to force the series into lasting for 50 years.
