I got to say, I love the series, it is something to watch, it makes your imagination open up. I think they play the mythology very well. I have to agree, Thor is my favorite character too, I love the entire Azguard race, but I have to admit, I think the Replicators were a great enemy.
The series is just something to watch in the day, they didn't want to go to deep into the TRUE historic mythology and the real history. They just wanted something to give to the people to watch and have fun with.
