D i v i n i t y [Shiroi Tsubasa] How the hell can you compare the two?
They are both going to succeed in their own respects. Well, no one said they weren't both going to succeed... I'm sure a lot of people, including me, are curious about which game will sell more.
But that's just my opinion.

Well... anything can be compared by sales.
That's really the only physical way to measure a game's success.

QFT. But at the same time, I think it'd be easier to judge sales (for success) on their own systems. Without a doubt, Halo will outsell everything on/for the 360, and the only game SSBB has to worry about on Nintendo is Mario Galaxy (which I'm sure SSBB will beat).

They are both going to succeed in their own respects. Yup I agree. Halo is the fastest best selling game I believe. It had like 4million reserves. I really love the smash games and Halo but you cant really compare the two or say which ones better.

The only good part about Halo is the Online play, the single player storyline blows nuts.

Smash has an edge because I'm pretty sure there have been more Wii's sold than 360s.

Well Halo 3 is gona have more sales then SSBB no doubt. But even though I'm a die hard Halo fan I am sure I will love SSBB more than Halo. Its just in my blood blaugh

BRAWL FTW!(First time I've ever said Ftw)Halo 3 is cool, and is definatley the best shooter ever, but It just can't stand up to the best Nintendo characters Brawling it out.I think that Halo will still sell more, though. People are freaking OBSESSED with it! I don't care HOW good Brawl is, I'm not spending 500 bucks on a Mario costume. And I'm probably not going to play for 3 days straight and die of fatigue. mrgreen

SSBB all the way. Nothing can compare to smashing your fellow Nintendo characters flying off the Nintendo-style stage with frantic music playing. C'mon, what's better than that? mrgreen

Oh man me and my next door neighbor got in the exact argument.....
turns out i won...
he sold his 360 and halo3 and got a wii and SSBB
