@Kylidel: I GO to Pearland. you marched on our field. ^_^
This year is pretty bad for us, nobody seems to care... but UIL we finally did really good! straight first division 43 years!
the first couple competitions this year.. kinda sucked... but my FIRST competition actually marching was great, last year when we took first at Galena park... and then missed making state by one place later that year...

West Hall Band of Silver (AA) <- small, i know.
Frst Competitition: This year? Sucked.. But we got all I's except the colorguard. They had a II.
Did You Get Better? Yea, but we had to improvise quite a lot because of stuff.
Worst Mistake? Out of step? That's my freshmen year. Oh, intervals. pretty hard to keep constant. Out band blasts alot, but it's not that huge a problem.
What Made the Show Amazing? Well.. We sound really good. We're not worried about that. We're more worried about the marching because it's a small band and we have quite a lot of lat minute changes. And our simple Visuals.
Seeing other bands: Pretty awesome. One of my most favorite things about competition. I envy the large bands. They're huge and good. Amazing.
Losing to Snobby Bands? Well, I hate it when we lose to "snobby" bands, but our band has the most spirit so everyone who didn't hear the score would think we won. (We always get straight I's in competition. When we don't, it's the colorguard's fault because our colorguard sucks.) But it doesn't really matter because if we don't get first in our category, we're 2nd or third and nearly get first overall. ^^

First comp: Well, our FIRST first one was cancelled..our actual first sucked. Second: First guard and second percussion! WoOT! Worst: Hitting lots of wrong notes after panic during states... Amazing: Our percussion solo song, Oye Como Va. Other bands: Their DMs all conduct weird. Losing: We don't lose to snobs...we lose to geeks. Then, we ARE geeks too...but the judges are just blind to our goodness sometimes.
