That is one of the few levels that I actually hate with a passion.

is when Togepi uses that Blackout move...

Well, pokemon trainers can hold up to six pokemon at once. Maybe he has a Pidgey or something that he considers too weak to fight, so it just flies him places.
I still think his final smash should've been Mew...

They have to fix that. It'd be an absolutely sucky death if Pokemon Trainer died because he couldn't move around the level...
I think he just runs around in the background by himself; we only control the pokemon. At least that sounds right...

Famitsu has confirm that there are a few stages
where the Trainer himself just isn't there at all.
There was a screenshot on the Dojo recently
in the Planet Zebes stage that showed the Trainer
standing on the Mother Brain.

Yeah, Why do they need the trainer at all? Pikachu doesn't. They only need him to switch out. And do the pokemon have seperate colors, or is it just the Trainer?(Black Ivysaur, w00t)

when i went to eb games to try out ssbb, i used pokemon trainer, i thought it was gonna be pretty good but i really did not like using him.
anyway getting off topic, the pokemon trainer just jumps around in the background on any lvl.
