I don't think my name means anything in Japanese . It's Elitsa , but if I'm correct , in Japanese it becomes Eritsu . It's weird , but I find it cute x3

P.S. That thing with Gary was hilarious . Imagine introducing yourself to someone in Japan and saying "Konnichiwa , watashi no namae wa Geri desu ." (That means "Hello/Good afternoon , my name is Gary (Diarrhea).") rofl

あたしの名前はLorelleですが、日本語でロレールだ。日本人に、とっても難しい名前と思ってるよ。
atashi no namae wa Lorelle desu ga, nihongo de roreeru da. Nihonjin ni, tottemo muzukashii namae to omotteru yo.

My name is Lorelle, but in Japanese it is Roreeru. For the Japanese, it's a very difficult name I think.

(Note; for beginner's, the Japanese I have used here is very informal. You only use it with people you know well~! I just like to use it when practicing, because I need more practic with it than polite Japanese.)

...I was about to comment on how you used the ultrafeminine version of "I"...
Then I read the note sweatdrop

I got bored and thought abotu my name in japanese.

my real name is Lance LeDuc, so it would sound like "Rance Reduc"

it's actually "Ransu". 「ランス」

note: u is silent in the end.

One of my former best friends lived in Japan for a long time. His name would be Tatsu(Todd) Which is cool because tatsu can be translated to mean dragon. My name however is far too long and comlicated to say in Japanese(Corutoni) so Todd came up with the notion to name me by what I supposedly remind him of. Yuzora, being the Evening Sky (Yuu+Sora=Yuzora... appearently) and Ryuu meaning dragon. Thus my name Yuzora Ryuu and it has stuck ever since.

Sincerely,
Ryuu, Yuzora

My name isn't too bad. Megan. But when you throw in my last name, deJager (J sounds like a Y), things get a little special.

So your name is Courtney?

I think Kootani sounds a little closer than korutani. Usually when there is that "er" kind of sound an extend vowel works.

For example my Japanese teacher's last name was Palmer --> Parumaa

Cortney, yes, That makes sense. I'm still a noob to Japanese, so I've got a long way. ^^ Kootani, I'll keep that in mind.

My name is Michelle, but I have had different spellings on my names from friends and teachers. Well, 3 different spellings, and it kind of throws me off.

ミッシェル Missheru [According to my friend in Japan]

My name in Japanese is ケイチイー [KEITII].

I sometimes get confused when I hear 'Kaite.' I can't remember what it means, but I think it maybe a verb.

分かりません。 gonk
