You'll swoop from incredible highs when you're just glad to be alive, to those lows when you wish you were dead. And just when you start thinking that you've accepted who you are, that changes, too.Jaft: I've never had. surprised
Tae: Merci, ce serait merveilleux si vous voulez. smile Because who you are is not permanent.

Now in English...
I received a gift certificate to Chapters/Indigo, and I'm not sure what to get. Does anyone have any suggestions? Read any good books lately? Which are your favourites? (No, this isn't a translation of the above, just a paraphrase of the second half. >_> )

Hey Kerri, Tae~
Tae: One of the books I reaaally wanted to get for Christmas (but didn't) was Salt Fish Girl by Larissa Lai. I thought it was really good, so, there's that as a suggestion :3

*whew* I'm home for the rest of the night, the ham's cooked, potatoes cooked, and dinner's done. biggrin
@Tae: Well, I've been reading the Chronicles of Chresomanci by Diana Wynne Jones, and find them charming. biggrin (She's the woman who wrote the book that Howl's Moving Castle was based on.) ^___^

If you're in to Sci-Fi, The Reality Dysfunction by Peter F. Hamilton is a damn good read. 1200+ pages though.
Sabriel is a good fantasy book. smile By Garth Nix
