Nah...probably most people don't feel they deserve you...heck...Hopian only found a mate because she was his from the dawn of time...most who see us when we transform are slightly put off...*Thinks back*...You haven't seen us transform in battle, have you?

When Hopian and I fight together...it's a whole different ball game...very few can stand against us when we work as a team...remember, we're blood-bound...whatever happens to him happens to me...and vice versa...this diminishes with distance...but we always have that connection...and in battle...we ca use it to make magic beyond most people's wildest dreams...I'll show you, if you wish...I have some reports of a powerful shadow looming around what's left of the sphere of water...I'm going to call Hopian and see if we can't dispel it...

Tam snatches up his pack, stoppers the wine and shoves it inside, the climbs on behind him. "So where to first... " he asks over the roar of Kerobian's bike.

My office...I have to pick up my gear...and my brother...I have already called for him....but he's safest there...hang on tight...
*Tam grabs a hold...and it's a good thing he does...imagine the force of accelerating to 10,000MPH in one minute...were he not wrapped in one of Kero's tentacles, he'd be a flying fox...*

*Kero chuckles...then falls back as he gets bowled over by his three godkids...after a round of greetings, Kero goes inside his office, leaving Tam with Hopian and Shia...and Hopian immediately curls up to take a nap...then cracks an eyelid*
Hey, Tam...want to pull a prank on Kero...for subjecting you to that wild ride?

"Actually, I kind of enjoyed it..." says Tam giving Shia a hug. She rolls her eyes at him and he kisses her cheek as well. "Well I did... I knew he was going to try something, so I was braced for it... literally."

*Hopian shrugs...then Kero comes out, decked out for battle...his scales having grown down over his wrists...he looks like a snake/human crossbreed...pulling Tam and Hopian onto his bike, he speeds them off, towards the sphere of water, pulling up when they see a giant shadow rise out of the gloom...Kero is off the bike in an instant, pulling Tam and Hopian off with him...the bike crashes into the shadow, causing it to grip its knees in pain, Kero sheds his armor and transforms into a lion cub, Hopian's same size and weight......the two reach out and touch each other's forheads...Hopian's paw to Kero's crescent...and Kero's paw to his opal...and they stop...but nothing seems to happen...*

Tam, realizing he would only be in the way had been trying to find a safe place to watch from, but when nothing seems to happen he turns to incredulously stare at the two, wondering what the hell was going on. "Hey! You guys, ok?" he asks worriedly starting to retrace his steps.

*Suddenly, a pulse of energy flares out from them...and their eyes open...Kero's are no longer emerald green...but a pure, blazing white...Hopian's have changed too...to pools of liquid shadows...both of them are wreathed in energy...and slowly, they change...Kero's fur grows darker...leaving him an inky blot in the Void...marked only by his blazing eyes and crescent...Hopian's opal has disappeared...replaced by a shadowy sun...as the rest of him flares white, birghter than the very sun...he rises into the air as Kero breaks away, both of them wreathed now by what appears to be blue lightning...*

Tam ducks down and finds himself having flashbacks of a certain battle so far back in his past he found it difficult to understand why he remembered it so clearly... explosions all around him, his friends flaring out of control...

What's going on, Talesian...this is my ultimate form...together, I become spirits of light and shadow...yin and yang fighting together as one...that's why I am so dangerous as a team...don't worry..I've got it under control...I've done this so many times, I've been known to stage fights so I could...though you have my word that this is real
