With a cry of dismay, the young priest sweeps him up onto her lap. "Are you ok, Kerobian? That was quite a tumble."

Sharmistra sees this and begins to panic... "blue.. blue... what did Hopian say about blue eyes... darn... where's that book..." she leans over and tries to find the book, burying the cub's face in her ample chest.
Tam emits a strangled cough and begins to grow rather red in the face as he struggles to keep from bursting out in gales of laughter, while Kero struggles to get free, as act t makes the priest only hold onto him all the more securely.

She looks at him then looks at where his head is and suddenly her small hand flies to her mouth.
Tam cannot take it anymore and he runs to the kitchen holding his sides gasping for air, which distract Sharmistra for the moment.
"Is he alright, you think. Maybe I should go after him..." she murmurs, putting the cub back on his stool and starting to rise. But the in keeper who knows full well that Tam is laughing his head off out in the back of the inn, merely urges her back into her seat.
"My mistress will attend to him. I am quite certain the young bard is well. Why else would he be capable of running so quickly."

Sharmistra takes one look at him and claps her hands like a school girl. "Oh, your eyes are green now. I know what that means... that means you are happy." She smiles kindly at the cub and decides to help him order dinner. "What would you like to eat? Pasta? or fish?"

Sharmistra brightens. "Oh yes... I read about them last night. But I do have trouble sorting them all out. Some are easy... red for anger... green for happy... and now that I think about it blue for tears... Your eyes show your emotions, do they not?" She wiggles slightly in her seat and leans forward towards the cub, hangng on his every word.

"You can change them at will!" cries Sharmistra with a pout. She sighs and plays with her food. "So much for that theory then."
