It's because nintendo is picky. Might want to try rebooting your router, it may work for a bit.

I don't have a router ;_; My internet's coming from the wifi for my apartment building so I have no control over it. I've added my DS's MAC address to the system so I can actually access the signal, but it still doesn't like it >.<
