"Go ahead. I have horrible memories with those things..." Link muttered, shoving the plate over a little so she could use part of it. He slowly began eating the salad around the cucco. He could still feel the pecks on his back. Those darn things were worse then Ganondorf...

"I dunno... they didn't grow in the forest. I'm surprise there are are still pretty things... and fairies aorund." Niko flew down and pulled a flower out. It was a smaller verision of the one navi was looking at. "So you like these?"

Romani yawned as she waited patiently. She tried to keep her mind off of Assis, but she found herself worrying over the man. She could not think of any reason why the man needed to go to a place like this. Most of it was destroyed... So what could be so important? She began humming to herself, not realizing it.

Fai cursed as he felt the light blind him. He immediately clamped his hand over his eyes as a protective fort of icicles shot out of the ground to protect him from any incoming attacks. Fai blinked away the spots and cursed under his breath. He waved his hand the the ice cumbled to snow flakes around him. He looked around but the man was gone. Fai shook it off. "I was give no order... no use in persuing him..." Fai continued moving in the opposite direction of the man he just found. Whatever the case was, he did wish to see the man again. He smell of the boiling dessert and the dry sands. Fai hated the heat, the sun, and most of all fire. He had no intention of battling a man where there were a lot of those elements. Fai then stopped. He heard something in the distance. He had made it to the castle gate only to see a bridge that was ready to collapse. But he was sure he heard something. He looked about seeing the destruction Ganondorf had created. In the distance, he could see a forest. A breeze tickled his silvery hair. He then heard it again. Is someone... singing?

Robin sighed and nodded to the horse. "Go on Solley... I'm Jem has found some grass you can munch on." Reluctantly, the horse trotted away. Robin then looked back to Jos. "What is this place?" He asked curiously looking around.

Navi giggled and bounced on the flower. "They are lovely. I see them every now and then, but them only seem to open their petals at night. Besides.. they smell lovely!" Shiff then inhaled the scent and sighed happily. "If I were a Hylian,I would definitely wear a perfume like this..." she said dreamily.

((Sorry about the epic size, everyone! (^u^") I got carried away since it's only Assis by himself at the moment.))

The first gate leading into the courtyard was gone, completely destroyed. There was hardly anything left to hide behind. Not to mention, the enormous gap between the castle and the path itself would not make getting there so simple. It was large enough, he may need to unleash his power just to make it across. Still, there was time for that later. He had made other plans to ensure his safety once he comes face-to-face with his father, Ganondorf.

Assis had heard of another legend, one of an ancient shrine that lay just outside of the castle itself. A Great Fairy shrine that used to be accessible to the people, until the day it had been cut off from the rest of the world. Cut off by the Hylians, those who would deceive an ethereal being of light. The castle’s architects had cut off the fairy from the outside world, and eventually, most people would forget.

Rumor told that the Hero of Time had freed the Great Fairies from their slumber, opening their shrines back up to the world all across the land. Even within the desert itself had a Great Fairy been discovered just outside of the holy temple. After the hero had defeated Ganondorf, this empire had been rebuilt under the rule of Hyrule’s latest heiress, Zelda. She had had the castle rebuilt, along with the town. The story tells nothing of the shrine after that. Obviously, some time had passed since then, as Hyrule was in the same state it was in before it had been rebuilt, if not worse.

Assis stood facing the front door of the new castle. It looked so different. Matter of fact, it was not the same castle at all. Not the one he had seen since he was last here. Despite his past intentions, the very empire he had been pitted against his entire life was now the one he had come to save. But, before he could do that, he needed a fallback plan.

He turned away from the castle, starting on down the path all the way to the end. Just as he thought, there was a large opening at the end of the path, wide enough for even a Great Fairy to enter through. It was open as it had been told, overlooked by Zelda’s architects. The entrance was just massive, dark and gloomy on the inside. A soft, cool draft flowed from the mouth of the cavern, inviting him inside with a chill breath. Assis entered the cavern, holding his head down as he listened to his footsteps echo off the walls around him. The echo shot forward, then spread out into a larger room up ahead. This had to be it.

As he reached the large opening, he stopped. He was blind in here, completely unable to use his eyes. Instead, he searched his mind. What was the legendary hero’s secret? How did a simple boy manage to convince the Great Fairy to reveal herself? There had to have been something he had had that would convince the Great Fairy to trust him, something in his possession which gave him the power to defeat Ganondorf. Something.... ancient. Link had many tales about him, but all of them told one thing the same: he had come to possess a piece of the Triforce of the gods. Courage, this was the specific name given to his piece. It was this power which had awakened the Great Fairy.

Assis had a power of his own. It lay within the scar on the back of his hand. Since he was a child, he never did learn how to unleash his true power. He had never learned the secret behind his piece of the Triforce. It had to be the same as his father’s, did it not? The Triforce of power, up to this point, had only been used for destruction and conquest. Perhaps it was time to turn the course of history. It was time to redeem the spirit of the Triforce of Power, under a new name.

With full confidence, Assis untied the leather piece over his right forearm, sliding it off and dropping it on the floor next to his feet. He brought his right hand up in front of his chest over his heart. Squeezing it into a fist, Assis concentrated all his focus on the scar on the back of his hand. The Triforce emblem had been permanently burned into his skin when he was a child, the day it was forcefully removed from his body. To this day, he remains unaware of this. He still believes the power to be lying dormant within his body.

As he stood there, facing what he believed to be the shrine, he narrowed his gaze into the darkness, calling upon every ounce of strength he had. He knew he would need it to call the Great Fairy from the shrine. He was so sure of his theory, he would have died for it right there, alone, in the dark.

”Great Fairy of the ancient world! By the power of the gods, I call you from your slumber! Show yourself!”

For a long moment, nothing happened. Assis stood there, clenching his fist as hard as he could for as long as it had taken to convince him that it wasn’t working. Sulking, he lowered his hand back down to his side. He bent over to pick up the leather arm piece from the floor, letting out a deep sigh of grief and failure. However, as he went to stand back up, his left hand brushed against the red scimitar in his belt. For just that one instant, a bright light flashed from within the oasis at the center.

The power inherited to Assis had been imbued into the crystal that sits within the body of his red scimitar. If you would have asked him at that moment, he couldn’t have told you the difference between black or blue, he was so stunned by the strange actions of this shrine. The only thing that gave away the truth as to what had happened was the blue light coming from behind him. Only, it wasn’t behind him; it was beside him. It was the crystal, the one his mother had given to him when he was a child. Although he could not recall any memories before that day, he had kept the memory of that day as if it’d happened just yesterday.

As he stared down at the crystal, its light slowly faded out, once again plunging the cavern into darkness. He was baffled by this. Never once had it even occurred to him that the crystal itself would somehow have the power to draw a Great Fairy from her slumber. After another long moment, he reached down and grabbed the red scimitar by the handle, pulling it from its place in his belt. The moment he held it out in front of him, the crystal lit up the entire shrine with a brilliant blue light, pulsating with pure energy. He stared in disbelief as it illuminated the entire cavern around him. Could this really be? Was the crystal his mother had given him harboring some kind of ethereal power, and she had kept it from him?

Slowly, Assis approached the stone working at the front of the shrine, holding the sword out in front of him. Less than a foot from it, he knelt down, placing the sword flat on the stone facing his left. The direction was west, signifying the desert, the sand; Earth in its most true form. He rose back to his feet, stepping back as the light engulfed the sword. The light quickly flooded outward over the oasis, shooting down into the water, concentrated at a point in the center. Assis had finally stepped back until he was almost inside the tunnel leading to the outside.

He watched in awe as the light exploded up from the oasis, and a shrill, booming laughter shook him down to the very bones he stood upon. It was a woman’s voice, the voice of a Great Fairy. There she was, hovering immaculate in all her immense beauty. Gargantuan as she was, her beauty was simply godlike. He continued to stare in astonishment as she looked upon him, giggling from her place above the shrine.

”Come, now. Do not be afraid. You have come seeking my aid, yes? Son of Ganondorf?”

(Arg... I miss RPing with Fairies! T^T If only the queen of fairies hadn't decided to stop meddling with the affairs of humans, Sora would still be connected to them...)

Diengo waited in silence, his body starting to fall asleep in the jar. Suddenly, a moglin looked in the cage and noticed the missing prisoner. As soon as the moglin unlocked the door and took a step inside, Diengo pounced out of the jar and destroyed it.

His tails excited, he moved about the dungeon. Keeping low and in the shadows, he managed to sneak around quite a few guards.
The first thing I need to do is find out where exactly I am. If only I had a map of Hyrule or the surrounding area...

Diengo eventually came to a storage room. He turned into his human form and rummaged through the supplies. A few bottles, weak moglin weapons and a kid's slingshot... Nothing really popped out at him as useful. He kept searching nonetheless.

There has to be something around this dump that can be of use...

Nona glances up to him curiously, knowing some part of whom was responsible of their surroundings. However, she had never met him..and perhaps her mask would revel a few secrets on its own? She blinks, simply following behind Silence with no real reply. Her eyes wandering about as they walked, yet her gaze stayed ahead. Adjusting her mask after a few moments as it was beginning to slid off.

Several thoughts flashed through Tenser's mind. The first, he remembered he was betraying Ganondorf, someone he had battled alongside in combat. He knew Ganondorf would not like to be crossed. Second, Eva was going to put herself and her friend in danger for someone they didn't even seem to know, something that would make Tenser stop her immediately. Then her last words sunk in...he couldn't let her go, not after all this. Not even if it meant death for him. Eva was immortal, in a way, though...but Immortality and invincibility were not the same thing.
"I'm coming with you. You need all the help you can get. Heck, maybe I can get Ganondorf to simply hand over Opal by using my charm."
He grinned, striking a pose with his head to show off his facial features, though he never broke contact with Eva's eyes.

(You can already guess what part was a quote and where I got it...)

Silence kept scanning the area. He knew that he had to keep everything sharp, all his senses. He slowed his pace slightly to keep Nona close to him, keeping a mental note the person behind him was her, or else he might chop off her head thinking she was an enemy. He thought he heard something, then realized that they were missing someone.
"Did you see where the Kitsune went?"
Goddesses, having partners was already becoming a problem...

Eva frowned when he said this, though even when he tried to make it funny, she still frowned. "... But, wouldn't have rumor have reached Ganondorf ears yet? That you have left him?" She asked, looking up at him, she didn't want to put Tenser in danger due to her own promises. "No, Tenser I couldn't loose you like that!" Eva said, looking away when tears appeared in her dark blue eyes.

Tenser gently held Eva's chin, forcing her to look at him. He smiled, moving his hand so instead of holding her chin he touched her cheek.
"I took that risk the day I held you in my arms showing you around the castle after he told me to kill you. Just like how you won't leave my side, I won't leave your side. Ever."
He kissed her gently.

Adalynn went off to her room, taking a bath to try to relax then changed and went back to her office. After calling in her group of spies and setting the small room to fit a large crowd of people, she sent a few kids to go around the base. Then say the meeting for Link's group was about to begin. She sat at her desk quietly, five other men and a small girl in the room for now as they sat towards the side. I wonder if they mind if I purpose a few things? Hmm..I'll let them speak first. Ada whistled softly, calling Yazu to her shoulder as she gently petted him.

"Nona called Silence when hands from the earth grabbed him, and yet when Nona had the chance he was gone." She explained, knowing full well she couldn't tell him through a mere grunt or images. That would be a waste of power, which she was now conserving for anything they would encounter. She wasn't one to fear or to shake if even an goron was to come at her at full speed. Though with her quiet nature, most assumed she hated all around her or hated any company. Which was true in some parts, as the more chatter was around her the less belonged she felt, and in other cases she hated how most others acted. Not partially liking sarcasm since she always took the comments seriously, or the fact she was utterly clueless when one would confess to her. Nona was simply Nona, which was the precise reason she explained herself as such.

Silence nodded, wondering why he didn't hear her. He was usually sharper than that. But a hand from the ground? He was going to have to direct his attention to yet another area. Was there any place these things haven't infiltrated?
He kept on moving, until he saw black spots on the ground. It bothered him only slightly, till he realized they were sucking air and dust into them. He got even more aware of them when he thought he saw a few move. The walls were lined with what looked like dummies, but he didn't see any strings. Skeletons lay everywhere, including tiny ones. He even thought he felt a cold spot. He heard a tiny rustle behind him, a bit farther behind Nona. He almost turned, but when he started to the rustling stopped. He turned back, then whipped around just as the rustling started. He saw hundreds of tiny skeletons, gigantic skeletons with clubs, the dummies moving and letting out a screech that would have left him frozen in fear if he hadn't learned to live without it. He blinked, his eyes going into a magical spectrum that revealed several odd ghost-like creatures. Now that the secret was out, they openly moved forward.
Rule number 1: Never travel with company or monsters follow you at every turn...

Eva felt him touch her cheek and gently kiss her lips. She felt her arms wrap around him and held him close. "... Thank you Tenser..." She murmured, remembering that Tenser had already put his life on the line for her, so many times he had risked his life for her. "Alright, I trust you Tenser... but... don't go and get yourself killed for me... alright?" She said, looking up at him.

Josline smiled, "It's Ada's Rebel base, with Kadir's help too. Anyways, I got to go, please make yourself at home, if you want to go outside, you'll have to ask one of the guards." She said, bowing and vanishing into the shadows and appeared next to Ada. "Sorry I'm late... was helping a friend." She said.

Tenser just chuckled, grinning broadly.
"I may not immortal like you, but I'm still hard to kill. You don't need to worry."
He gently took her hand, leading them towards Ganondorf's castle before remembering...
"...we have to go to the rebel base and get Josline...right?"

"No, Josline will be finding us for the mission, but we will be doing it in the morning. We won't have to go back to that rebel base..." Eva growled softly, she was still fuming from snapping at the spies that were 'keeping watch on them'.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 18, 2010 7:42 pm

"Alright, so should we walk or should you teleport us?"
He wanted for Eva to get away from her anger, he'd already seen what it could do to you the hard way. He was still a bit angry himself for not being given a chance for trust. Why couldn't he get a break?

((I'm doing a time-skip. RPing by myself is a drag.))

Not ten minutes after Assis had entered the mouth of the dark cavern, he came walking out, his arm band secured over his forearm and red scimitar safe inside his belt. He was walking straighter than before, more up-right. He was also missing one of the pouches from his waist. Inside the folds of his cloak, the leather pouch sat securely over his heart, a dim light pulsating through the mouth. Although it was concealed under his cloak, one with trained eyes could easily see the presence hiding within the folds. For within the pouch of leather tucked gently into his cloak, there sat a life fairy, glowing the most pure violet with the power of the Great Fairy at her command.

After revealing his intentions to her, the Great Fairy had done Assis one other favor. His arm - the one that had been wounded by his own dagger - was in the best shape ever. One would never know that anything had ever happened to him. Romani would be shocked to see this, to say the least. But, that would come in due time. For now, he had to fulfill his promise to the Great Fairy. He would complete his mission as he had come to do so.

As he came to the spot adjacent to the front door of Ganondorf's castle, he carefully sized-up the gap between the grounds. His grappling hook was an extended version, customized to where it could pierce solid rock. But, it would do him no good here. What would happen when his body slammed against the slanted rock underneath? He would have to use the sword. It would draw attention to him, attention that he did not want any part of. But, did he have a choice? What would Romani think of him if he left her there alone all through the night? His mission was simple: get in, say what needed to be said, wait for the expected result, then get back to Romani. Hopefully that ice sorcerer would stay out of the way. Then again.... which way had he gone after Assis had evaded him?

The sorcerer had been wandering the streets of the town, apparently on patrol. He may have gone back to where Assis had come from, which was.... the entrance!

Assis' eyes opened wide in horror as he came to realise that he had left that strange man where he could get to Romani. Damnit, he didn't have time for this! He had to.... well, he had to go back. If nothing else, he would check on her. This time, however, he would be sure to check each and every corner before he went darting past it. He could just as easily evade the sorcerer a second time. Even if the guy learned from being blinded the first time, would he really be all that much of a challenge? He obviously wasn't familiar with the area. He had to have come from somewhere far off, somewhere that people didn't know of Gerudo tricks. He would be an easy take-down. If anything, he would merely out-run the guy. Assis would not be affected by the cold. In fact, he would be more comfortable within it. Assis had too many advantages to be slowed too severely by a simple ice elemental.

Although reluctantly, Assis turned away from the front door of the castle. He had to make sure that Romani was alright. He could not live with himself if he returned only to find her murdered by that treacherous elemental. As fast as he could, he bolted off back toward the town. At this point, not even his own father would stand in his way.
