Luna thinks about this for a bit, then snuggles close. "Wuv oooo" she declares as if that was the most important thing in her life.

Tes chuckles from the bed. "There... see... that makes two of us... aren't you a lucky male? Two ravishingly beautiful females love you to pieces.""

Luna giggles and nibbles at his chin, accidently bumping the side of her mouth as she does so. "Owie......" she moans with a sigh. Suddenly she see that Gwee has once again laid claim to her belt. With a squeal that is half frustration, half amusement, she makes a bee line for the bed and snatches up a free end, resulting in a rough and tumble tug of war all about the room. Somehow nothing gets broken nor anyone gets hurt, and it is obvious she's having a great deal of fun trying to get her chew toy back, but eventually Kero has to put a stop to it.

"Take it outside to the garden, you two. You are going to wake up Nimbus." he says with a mock growl.

"Too late..." laughs Tes as she cradles the baby close. "But he's not wanting anything more than a snack. Still I agree. Gwee, you know the rules... No roughhousing in the house."

The small green dragonette wrinkles it's nose at her and giving the belt one last hard tug, pulls it free, darting out the window towards the balcony.

"Hey!!!! Dat's mine!!!" cries Luna taking off after him.

"Peace at last." sighs Tes after they leave. "I just hope he has the sense to let her win a time or two. She's bigger than he is, just not as familiar with the skills needed to play the game. If she gets mad, he's going to get sat on. You know, Kero, she needs to learn those skills. Perhaps you couldn't truly teach her to hunt and defend herself on the Jade Corner, but you are doing her no good, not seeing to it now. She is a preditor by birth, the top of the food chain, but she's still rather small and vunerable. If something should happen and she was seperated from you and the rest of us, she needs to know how to take care of herself.""

She grins at him and snagging a bit of his robe, pulls him down for a long hard kiss. "Nope, not a thing I can think of right now. But I know animals... the thinking as well as the not so thinking..." she saiys with a hearty chuckle thinking of Gwee and the trouncing he was probably getting by now. She touches him on the nose with the tip of her finger and smiles.

"You love her very much, I can see that.... And I know you have only her best interests at heart. That is why I said something, dear heart. You can't protect her from what she is. Teach her to embrace it, let her fly. Just like I taught you. Look how wonderful you turned out. Tame doesn't mean stupid, right. All I did was free you from the animal inside you allowing you to think for yourself. I robbed you of nothing and gave you the world... I hope." The last was more of a question than a statement for deep in her heart sometimes Tesability Black worried she may have handicapped her beloved void mage in her efforts to bring the true Kerobian forward.

Tes laughs softly and shakes her head. "Taming does not mean I took anything from you dear heart. It means only that I stilled the beast within long enough for you to rise above it... nothing more. You are still free to do as you wish, are you not. Now the conditioning I used to still you... that I must appologize for."

She chuckles softly and begins to softly whistle a familiar tune, three notes into it though he covers her mouth with his own, stilling her with a kiss.

"I enjoy it, my love, but let's not go there right now." he whispers softly coming up for air. "Save it for later, alright?"

"See?" she teases gently. "I've taken nothing from you and given you to ability to think, to comply or deny. There was a time when you wouldn't have been able to do that."

Kero smiles wisely at her. "Had you managed a few more notes..."

"But you found a way out of it, did you not? All I ever did, my love, is pick you up, dust off the dirt, bandage up the hurts, smooth out your rough edges...."

"Enough already..." laughs the mage. "I yield. My most glorious of ladies, I pray thee... enough. Can we speak of something else?"

She grows prime and proper, but her eyes are dancing. "Most certainly, kind sir, of what would you speak?"

But before he could demonstrate his intentions any further he gets a taste of one of the most frustrating sides of parenthood... how children always seem to be around and underfoot when you least want them to be. Luna comes flying back through the still open balcony door, making a beeline to his arms, wanting to be held and trailing her belt, chortling merrily.

"O wown... O wown... O wown..."

Of course her mouth is clamped securely down on the belt so her words aren't too distinct. Still the way she bops around the room in delight and the way Gwee sulks in after her, going to his small bed in the corner without even looking at either of the adults on the bed, kind of gives that away without an understandable word being said.

She drops her belt to the bed and gives him a funny look. "Wuff ye dooowin? I's hungwy... You hungwy? Mama, you hungwy??? Nimbu hungwy... see he eaten awweady.... Wet's go eat."

Sure enough, Nimbus is rooting around in his sleep, looking for that all important food source that smells just right. Watching his son's determination to have his own way, even at such a young age brings a laugh to Kero's lips.

"Like father like son..." grumbles Tes cryptically, when Luna looks to her for an answer to her daddy's sudden burst of hilarity. Of course that doesn't make any sense at all to the young dragon which makes Kero laugh even harder.

"We could do that, or we could eat out on the balcony and enjoy this fine morning. Your daddy brought up some fish for you last night, but you were sleeping so soundly." says Tes to Luna with a small smile of indulgence. "Make it a picnic, just the four of us... well... five, can't forget Gwee, he'dd have a fit iffin we do."

Luna is delighted, especially when she sees the fish. Suddenly all thoughts of cookies fly out the window. She is on it in a flash, though she carefully sets a tiny bit aside for Gwee and makes certain Tes and Kero have some as well. But once she's done that it's hers. She nibbles and flies about, then nibbles some more, doing an aerial happy dance as she eats, making both her parents smile.

"Want to go fishing later?" asks Kero nonchalantly as he feeds Gwee a tidbit from his plate.

"Ware? Ware go fishin?" she demands hovering in front of him.

"In your box, silly. Where else? Your Mama hasn't seen your cave. We could all go..." says Kero with a smile for his mate.

"You've been penned up here since Nimbus' birth. I bet you'd like to go someplace different as well. Luna has some interesting things to investigate there and a nice sunning rock to stretch out on. Gwee can't hurt anything there and I can do a bit of hunting and fishing with Luna. What do you say? It's a gate... not teleportation, so I think NImbus should be able to handle it fine. I'm warning ye though... no ammenities. We kept it as close to nature as possible... well except for the cushions we brought in for her sleeping chamber. Ly insisted upon it. Said she was too old to sleep on the ground these days."
