Alec couldn't believe it was finally time. He and his sisters were going to join their older siblings at Hogwarts! It'd probably be a little concerning if Luke and Lylah hadn't already scoped the place out... not that he'd ever admit that. Apparently there was even a cooking club, so he'd packed his favorite recipe book (and he sure hoped mom didn't mind!). After they all got dressed up in their uniforms, the family ate breakfast, then headed off. Once at the train station, Bren practically sprinted away, Luke hot on her heels. Grace also hurried off, leaving Alec to bring up the rear of the three. Thankfully he wasn't far behind.

Once on the platform, he looked around with a renewed energy. This time wasn't just to drop off older siblings. It was finally his turn to go! Grace was wondering about animals they could befriend, and Alec grinned. He was probably going to get roped in to trying to help capture one or two. "I bet there's a ton of them! And who knows, maybe they've got raccoons too." He nudged his sister, who'd been disappointed that the school would only let her bring one pet. As the rest of the family joined them, Alec looked over, a twinkle in his eyes. He couldn't wait!

It had been a wild morning at the Archer-Knapp flat. They had a huge breakfast before Papa helped get their hair done up in fancy styles for their first day. Coty's long hair was tied in a bow with sparkly clips while Tsia's was fluffed into a short ponytail with a Slytherin-striped bow. Of course, Coty's hair was different since Tsia's hair had to carefully tuck over her face, but also because the girls were quite unique in their styles. They got dressed in their uniforms, though Coty's was still just black and white. After they were all ready and they double checked any packing up. Thankfully, if they did forget anything, Tsia was old enough to go to Hogsmeade this year. Sure, Coty wished she'd be able to go too, but after promises to get letters from home frequently, it was okay for now.

"Come on girls, we've got to get a move on if you're going to make it to the train on time," Papa reminded, making sure both were ready to get a move on. He double checked that Coty had all her medicine ready to go, then made sure Tsia also had a spare inhaler... just in case. Apparently Hogwarts was all stairs, so it was really possible Coty would have to do a ton of walking. Thankfully Tsia promised to show her lots of rest places, plus the hospital wing, since one of the Healers there was prepared just for her. It sounded like everything would be fine.

After the family apparated to the platform (her with Papa, and Tsia with Dad), Coty looked around with brand new eyes. "Are all these people going to school with us?" her violet-hued eyes looked around eagerly. "Most of 'em, yep. The grown ups aren't, of course." Tsia answered, though she'd answered this very question dozens of times already. "Where are we gonna sit? I don't have any friends my age yet!" She asked next, while Tsia was looking around. "We can probably sit with Benji, if we can find him, or Rian. Or you can sit with some other first years, if you want to." Coty frowned at her sister, who shrugged in response. "Cote, don't worry. I'm sure you'll make oodles of friends. Just be yourself and you'll make pals in no time." The girls gave their parents hugs (and Coty heard her Papa whisper something about wanting Tsia to help keep an eye on the younger sister). Tsia offered a hand to hold, and Coty happily accepted, letting her sister look around for friends.
