Tes' eyes grow round, then she burst out laughing nervously. "Ewwww. What a mess... " She looks helplessly at Kero and sighs. "What I meant was that we should teach her, of course, not let her learn on her own. I was only commenting on her initiative. Seems she's got plenty to spare... Lord above, how did she managed to get it all over the place like that. He can't crawl yet... can he?" She lookis down at her sleeping baby and shakes her head in wonder.

Kero shakes his head, claiming the infant from her arms for a second and smiling down into the sleeping face. Such a noisy little mess maker, but he loved him very much all the same.
"Tes, I just want you to know something, in case I haven't said it enough over the years. I love you, Kechara, and I always will."
With that, he handed Nimbus back to her, and went over to gently clean up the changing table, gently scrubbing away the gunk and mess without magic, not wanting any remnants to harm his precious little boy.

"Sometimes, beloved, you say the nicest things." calls Tes with a smile, watching him, work. NImbus, feeling a little left out begins to croon, sounding more like he's trying to sing than he had the night before, but still awfully off key.

Kero, as he works, gently begins to hum, harmonizing with his son's off key singing.

A small dark damp missile darts through the window and catches him about the neck in an impromtu hug.

Kero reacts immediately to the missile, pulling her of of his neck and hugging her close before releasing her.
"Yes Yes. Nimbus does like to sing, apparently. And Mommy and I have decided on something for you. It's time for another set of lessons."
When Luna begins to groan, Kero immediately continues.
"In caring for babies. I'm going to teach you how to help care for Nimbus. Diapers, feeding, singing, rocking...the whole nine yards are yours to learn."

Her eyes get big with excitement and she literally dances in the air. "Weawwy? Yay! Wen we stawt?" she demands getting all serious like.
Kero notices a slight swelling along her jaw line and calls her over to see what the problem might be.
She pulls away with a jerk as he gently runs a fingle along the back of her mouth from the outside.
"Owie!!!!!" she moans refusing to let him touch her again. "No do dat...."

Kero grows stern, and tells her to gently open her mouth so he can see. When she refuses, he holds up three fingers, the definite warning signs. He gently explains before he counts down why he needs her to open up...that there is something wrong with her jaw and he needs to look inside to see what it is. When she doesn't capitulate, even after the three fingers, he sighs and gives her a small warning.
"Luna. I am going to count again. If you do not open up by the time I count to five, so I can see your jaw and perhaps figure out what is making you sick, you will go to time out when I am done."

"Nuhuh.... owchie.... no towch...." she declares clamping her mouth shut tight, even though he can tell from the tears forming at the edges of her eyes it has to be hurting her something terrible.

Kero looks stern, and holds up his fingers again, five of them this time, slowly ticking them down.
"One"
He folds down the one finger, noting the look on her face.
"Two"
Second finger down, and he still looks stern.
"Three...it's time out if I get to five, Luna."
Next finger down, and he is getting sterner.
"Four"
Second to last finger down....
"Last chance, Luna...open up, or time out."

The tiny dragon glares at him but slowly she opens her mouth, not very wide though as it seems to hurt her to do so. As he peers inside he thinks he sees the problem. The gumline at the back of her mouth behind her existing teeth and near where the upper jaw meets the lower is quite swollen.

Kero nods, gently picking up his little girl and cradling her in his arms, careful of her aching mouth.
"You, my little sweetie, have another tooth coming in. A MOlar this time. That's why your mouth hurts.
Gently, he cuddles her close as he carries her into his bathroom and sets her over his knees, reaching as he does for the medicine cabinet above his head.
"I'll give you some medicine for it in a second, Okay, sweetie. First I have to take care of something else."
((Madssage to help loosen the muscles she had nearly torn a while back...to check on them))

Her wing is a little tight, but not terribly so, but the looks she giving him when he mentions medicine are far from happy. Sighing he remembers some of the healing cordials that Lyssan had mixed up for the tiny dragon were on the bitter side, even though the kitsune had done her best to sweeten them up.

Kero smiles, gently massaging her to relax the muscles in her wing and back, then fetching down a topical painkiller for her gums, one that tastes of bananas.

As he rubs the pain killer onto the gum she bites him, a reflexive action that sends her flying out of the room to cower under the pillows next to Tes. Seeing her tiny black tail sticking out from under the pillows almost makes him laugh, but only almost. That bite had hurt, but he had seen from the look in her eyes immediately following it, she hadn't meant to do it. Which made him wonder, what kind of chewing had she been doing of late. Then it hit him, none that he could be certain of, and small dragons, like small puppies needed to gnaw to bring their teeth through their gums. No wonder she was in pain. Champhy's cooking was nurishing and non-lethal, no bones made it pass her eye without good reason.
