Duale Squaresoft went downhill ever since they merged with Enix. Kingdom Hearts 2 was the only good game to come out of that merger I think. Hold on. I'm not very corporate-savvy. Who's Enix? I knew about Squaresoft, but the name-change did pique my curiosity a little.

The merger happened in 2003. A year after Kingdom Hearts came out.
