Shin nodded simply his eyes widening a second later as he felt the blade "Oh come on so unfair!" he said smiling "Yeah should be dead now, im happy you arent though lex" he said laughing a little "feh, your too damn fast you know that? Guess well just let it end in a draw" he said shrugging, cold hands of ice shooting up and wrapping themselfs around alexs neck and his arm. Shin smiling knowing that if this had been a real fight he would have been dead..atleast half dead by now, he thought happily.

Alex laughed a little nervously when he felt the ice, easing his grip on his sword. "At least I know that I'd be missed," he said, running his free had on the ice on his arm and breaking it off.

Shin turned quickly dropping the ice from around his neck surprised "Well yeah ovcourse youd be missed lex" he said, smiling slashing out at the boy as he turned "Come on you know I love you lex, it would suck if you died!" he said backing, wanting to try and get some distance between himself and the boy, alex seeming exceptionaly good at close range attacking.

Alex cringed. "Ugh. You have no idea how weird that sounded," he laughed, nearly getting hit by the oncoming slash. He watched as Shin backed away, laughing a little harder before dashing up in front of the boy, slashing at his arm and appearing to miss, though he wrapped a layer of air around his blade.

Shin stuck his tongue out at the boy "Oh come on! Dont make it sound like that you know thats not what I meant" he said laughing, surprised as he felt the slash along his arm, he was sure alex had missed, "Feh, stupid air, hate how tricky that is" he said smiling at the boy, slashing out at alex again spikes of ice shooting up at alex. Shin let out a cold breath still smiling happily as the leaves around them in the trees froze, falling like little blades of rain from above them.

"I know, I know!" Alex grinned, quickly jumping up away from the spikes, landing on one of them again and feeling the little blades hit, surprised that they were leaves. He shivered, though, at the coldness that the ice brought, jumping off the spike and landing on the ground, kneeling there for a moment as he tried to warm himself up. "Ice sucks, it really does! And yet, it's so nice on a blazing hot day."

Shin laughed "Thats what you get for mocking me lex, heh and if you hate it so much make it hot then!" he said smiling, slashing keiune in alexs direction, blades of ice slashing out at the boy.

Yukiko sat on her knees making ice sculptures in one hand and fire sculptures in the other. "Hmm. . ." Mikarou was walking around her hand Kai was sitting on Cody's head.

Alex placed a hand on the ground, bringing up a shield to block the blades of ice. "Oh, believe me, I will," he smirked, creating a nice warm current of air around Shin, the thing dancing around the boy before zooming right under his feet.

"s**t!" shin swore as he was tripped up by the thing, he was really starting to hate that now "That was a cheap trick!" he said laughing sitting up, wishing he could glare at warm air but that was rather dificult "Stupid air" he said laughing, "Heh, you know what, I hope you catch a cold" he said a pillar of ice forming beneath alex, suddenly shooting up a few feet off the ground, shin only being playful.

Alex quickly jumped off the pillar before itt got too high, glaring back at it. "Not as cheap as that elevator," he smirked. He tapped the tip of his sword in the ground, drawing a small symbol in it; a star in a circle with bizarre symbols on the outer edge. Why, he didn't know. Something did seem a little familiar about it, though. He blinked, realizing what he was doing before barely managing to hold back a laugh, taking his sword away from the dirt and dashing up beside Shin, his sword's tip pointed at his neck.

"What is it with you and my neck! Shesh cant stay away from it with that thing" he said laughing reaching out an touching the sword with a free hand "You know that thing is sharp, id rather not be its target" he said smiling simply pushing it away and stepping back wondering if he should surrender, it was hard keeping up a fight this long, even if it was just playing.

"Slitting someone's throat is like instant death, unless you stop the bleeding fast enough," Alex pointed out, lowering his sword. "At least. . .I think. Not sure. Never really listened to Tohru and his lectures."

Shin smiled "Depends on how deep you slit it lex...but stopping the bleeding saves a person in most cases, or trust me you and me wed be so dead by now" he said smiling. "The glowy symbol thing..what the heck was that..." he asked curiously he thought he remembered that from somewhere but he wasnt sure.

"Err. . .actually, I have no idea. Just drew it in the dirt," Alex shrugged, letting his sword turn into it's little necklace form. "Yes, we'd both be dead by now if it weren't for miracles. Gotta love that."
