It was convenient that before Kagerou's reactions to Freya's words could flash on her face, the village shook with impending doom. Kagerou eyes lifted and flashed to the origin of the bright flash of light, seeing copious amounts of smoke and debris already rising from the ground in a single attack. This was... she didn't know, but she couldn't stay put here.
While Kagerou's eyes had raised up to discern the disturbance, Kagerou's hand had unconsciously raised up to pat Freya's head. It didn't take the woman any thought to try and comfort Freya. All the villages had their tragedies and disasters, but it was only natural that Kagerou could empathize with what Kiri had gone through the most. Their entire village destroyed then flooded... and Freya was probably only an academy student back then. "It'll be okay," the medic naturally wanted to reassure Freya that she wouldn't have to live through such an experience again.
While her heart spoke comfort, Kagerou's mind worked to make that safety a reality. Her eyes turned from the dust cloud to her immediate surroundings. "Unfortunately Freya, I don't think now is the right time to be testing your qualifications as a genin," Kagerou explained as she grabbed a hold of Freya's hand, passed by Emiru to also grab her hand and drag her with, and walked straight to one of the tensely evacuating classrooms. That much should be a given. There was no time for a test and Kagerou couldn't very well toss someone who was possibly unqualified into the middle of a likely dangerous and certainly chaotic situation. Approaching what looked like the leader of the teachers, Kagerou briefly discussed with him the matter of keeping Freya and Emiru with the academy students, speaking with a kind of calm urgency.
Once she received permission for the two pre-genins she had dragged with her and expressed her thanks to the academy teacher, Kagerou turned to bid them farewell. "Emi. Freya," did she ever stop smiling? Only very rarely, and now wasn't one of those times as she advised, "Listen to the teachers. They'll know best," even though, right now the teacher had just expressed that they're waiting to get a clearer idea of where the front lines, ie the directions they need to avoid the most, of the crisis are, "Stay vigilant and be aware of your surroundings. I have to go to the hospital. They'll need me there."

Having felt accomplished in his control of earth and water, the life giving elements of the world, Mugen would begin to dabble in his clan's predigested ability. The use of Wood Manipulation. Mugen would open the scroll his father had passed on to him so long ago. He felt it was the right time to learn the basics of this art. With determined eyes, Mugen would push forth in his training.
Bringing his hands together, Mugen would begin. First, he would need to perfect his timing and chakra control used by forming the double handed seal. Mugen would repeat the double handed seal formation from a position where his hands were seperate. This would be the best for him, seeing as a ninja was never promised to have their hands readied for jutsu. After several repetitions, he felt the technique of the hand seal was perfected. He now would need to learn to meld his chakras.
The artwork in the scroll was rather detailed, even depicting the stance to place oneself in to best practice melding the Earth, Doton, and Water, Suiton elements into the Mokuton, or Wood Element. With his hands at a low shallow angle to his body, he would concentrate. 'Earth....in my right...' he thought to himself. ' ...and Water...to my left...' As he concentrated on these chakras, breathing in and out steadily, he would bring his hands together. As he did, he felt the chakra's merging. As he opened his hand, a small branch with a flower upon it had formed.
Having learned to mix his chakra natures to create the wood element, Mugen would continue by manipulating wood. He would place his hands together, forming a double hand seal. From the floorboards of the academy floor a small sprig would form. This small tree would be flimsy in nature, but budding quickly. It's base was merged with the floor, making it one with the wood it was created from. Mugen would continue to hold this double handed seal, causing the sprig to grow into a small tree that flowered brightly. Mugen was satisfied with his ability to manipulate the wood, in the standard sense at least.
What Mugen was dissatisfied about however, was the fact that he needed to hold these hand signs to form his clan's techniques. Mugen would begin making gestures with his hands, attempting to manipulate the wood by using chakra with these motions. Soon enough, the wood would obey. The tree in the room would begin to grow in the direction of Mugen's hand's motion. These somatic motions were what would make it possible for Mugen to create an evolved combat, opening the possibility for a weapon to become involved. His ability to use such gestures would also stem into his suiton and doton ninjutsu as well!

Mugen continued to learn from the scroll. His next technique to learn would be a defensive technique. Mugen would study the scroll, mimicing it's movements. Standing in the center of the room, Mugen would clasp his hands together. Doing so would cause chakra to flow through the floor, creating a flower that would engulf Mugen just in time to defend against an enemies oncoming attack. In addition, Mugen would be able to travel through wood connected to the flower in order to escape the offensive attack, using the vine of the flower to attack the foe who lashed out at him.

Mugen would become distracted, still lignering on the thought of using a weapon in combat. He would use his wood release to begin fashioning makeshift weapons from his wood. A sword would be his first weapon. The standard of weaponry. He would swing the sword about, realizing that even though it was a quality creation, wood just wasn't up to snuff for cutting techniques. Mugen would then attempt to use stakes of some sort, realizing they only had piercing qualities. Finally, Mugen would create the bo staff. The staff was meant to be blunt, he could use it in on hand and still manage to use the gestures that would allow him to dominate in combat.

Mugen would move outside the academy as his techniques would begin to become more...involved. He created a clone, utilizing it as a target. Mugen would then hold his right hand forward, clenching his fingers as he did so. In response to the movement, wood burst from the earth. The wood began to coil in a ring around the clone, creating spike facing inward towards him. These spikes would be mere centimeters from the throat of the would be opponent. These spikes would prevent opponents from escaping so easily.

Next, Mugen would begin practicing the Wood Clone Technique. This technique had a variety of ways to be cast. Like all Mokuton techniques, Mugen was able to create the clone from exisitng wood. Additionally, the wood clone could be spawned from his body, becoming wood and branching off to create the double of himself. The clone would be quite useful. The clones were capable of communicating with the original. They were even able to be used like a tracking device by transforming into a seed. These clones were the perfect substitution, having the ability to take a hit and appearing to be real.
The following skill would be a shield of sorts. The shield was a dome shape. This shield type technique would be created by extending the arm and converting flesh to wood. As the wooden extension springs forth, the hand of Mugen would become dome rounded and form three layers. This shield was extremely useful for deflecting blasting techniques for the individual or for an additional team mate.

Continuing, Mugen would clasp his hands together. From the ground, several large girthy roots would sprout. The roots took shape and began to intertwine. It was clear that anyone or anything that would be trapped by it would be crushed, doing significant damage to the individual. As the roots completed their task, Mugen would dismiss them, sending them back to the earth below.
Thrusting his hand forward, Mugen would command his next technique. From the ground, five thick roots would emerge from the loamy soil. The roots would follow the initial thrust of Mugen's hand, impailing anyone before him. In addition, these roots had other uses. By clasping his fingers together, he could create shelter. By thrusting forth a flat palm, a shield could be made.

He would arrive at the academy or rather a replication of the academy. Toso wasn't one who was particular perceptive of his surroundings unless there was imminent danger. As such if the delinquent duo had slipped into his dimension he would have been blissfully unaware. All the while as he moved and as the duo moved if he was followed the world around them shaped itself reflexive of the world outside, albeit black an white. Movement in this world seemed faster. Surreal even. Like being in a dream where you either felt like you were going to slow or too fast. The level of urgency Toso felt produced the second feeling. Isekai-Junsei was a safe haven. A sanctuary where creativity flourished and wishes were granted. Even if they were temporary. Toso would then stop and bringing his hand forward a door would begin to form. This would provide insight into just how he was capable of doing so earlier. The people that the world was mirroring were all likewise black and white and the door was opened in front a mature looking woman.
The door formed and opened again. Toso would be returning rather soon it seemed. Although Kagerou in her time at the academy would discover he was looking dapper and tidy. Trips to the mountains and back home were likely incredibly easy for a man who quite literally had the means of moving place to place unhindered. He would speak his peace quickly and concisely. "Ka-nee" The door in this instance was supposed to close and vanish but if he had stowaways inside it would refuse to do so. Which would indeed harbor suspicion. "What I can only assume to be the Rokubi bloop has been released. bloop. I...I require your assistance in its eventual sealing. A host hasn't been determined yet but we'll come to it when that time comes to bloop." One of his tetnacles manifested out of his sight and snuck up behind Kagerou to whisper in her ear. "1. I fear I no longer have it in me to seal another living being, I need Kagerou herself to do this. So help me I'd rather die than do that again." Looking around as the tentacle snuck back into his back he would see Freya and Emi uncertain if Haruko had followed or gone her own way. He then frowned. "A less than ideal situation again when it comes to furthering education bloop. Just like the blood moon bloop. Sigh."
He'd sound almost defeated in the following proposition which was, in fact, the case. "Escort everyone here to Ika-Shokuji it's the furthest location from the gates. Steel yourself and reconvene at the gates when you're ready. bloop. I realize you may be tempted to assist the hospital bloop. That is, of course, your occupation. bloop. It's likely many are already being evacuated to it or the Kages building as they are the largest venues. Your students, once they're safe, can aid in the effort there if they have a desire to be genin in tending to the wounded with basic field triage and giving food to the affected from the attack. After you can head to the hospital and gather yourself. Bloop. I'd guide you with Isekai-Junsei but...there's a problem." He would look at the cowering children and students before looking back at Kagerou. "Restless imaginations especially ones that are afraid can be incredibly problematic inside. bloop. I leave the decision to you."
Isekai-junsei was a wonderful place and sanctuary this is true, but it was also erratic. Stray thoughts become reality in the world he had and thoughts of children were often the wildest of all. An octopus with pointy tentacles and crazy teeth made of trees trying to eat you. A macaroni wizard with a scythe made of melty cheese just to name a few. The creations themselves weren't a problem but thoughts like 'its going to eat me' and 'its going to kill us all' were. If the two Zhi and Masato had stowed away now would be their time to step up and assist Kagerou in this evacuation. There were two options. Evacuate the individuals normally or evacuate them through Isekai-Junsei. One would prove difficult navigationally with the threat of rubble and debris, while the other would prove quicker but erratic and likely filled with the rampant thoughts of children both possibly adorable and terrible. If she opted for the normal route Toso would, however, be free.

Vivian was walking past the academy, on her way to the Arashikage's office when she felt the presence of nearby people. Specifically the children that were still around for some reason. Perhaps it was the motherly instincts that kicked in or some other sort of natural phenomenon that caused her to stop dead in her tracks and immediately go into the academy. It was her duty to help stop the Bijuu but, by all means she would help at least get the academy students out of harms way. The woman walked straight to where they were all hiding, finding a man speaking with Kagerou. There was something different about her and him. Vivian hardly recognized either of them. The man spoke in such a strange fashion however, she listened to what he had to say, remaining somewhat away from the group. Once had had finished speaking, Vivian presented herself to the two. "I can help." She would say, without hesitation. Perhaps an extra set of hands would allow them to go where they each needed without being hindered.
Mugen would overhear the conversation as he walked back inside, the people of the village were in danger! Mugen would enter the room, bursting through the door. He stood before Toso and the rest. His neon green eyes gazed heavily at the man as he absorbed the remainder of the information. He looked to Vivian who had offered to help. " Ma'am, if you're willing to help we can get the people to safety quickly." He would turn to the children and smile, trying to prevent them from gaining more fear than necessary. " Alright kids, you heard the man." Mugen said, facing the academy students who gathered around their elders to look for guidance. " We're gonna all go single file to Ika-Shokuji and wait for instructions, okay?" He looked to Vivian, hoping for the stranger's support in corralling the children. Among the children, he hoped some would be more willing than the others to assist in playing class leader and organizing them for the two.It was always easier when a leader came from the group being lead anyway.

The arrival of Toso paused Kagerou in her tracks. She smiled up at him, giving the open door a curious look. It... almost looked like another dimension in there. Fascination, though now wasn't the time for that. Toso came with instructions and grim news.
Kagerou disagreed with the order of orders given, but she trusted the judgement of her superior and, without the slightest ruffle in her features, nodded in assent with a lilting yet business-like, "Understood."
Regarding Toso's mental hesitation regarding sealing another demon... Kagerou wasn't going to force him. People had boundaries, places where they drew lines. She could guess what it was that had caused Toso to draw this line. What she was more concerned about, honestly, was the magnitude of Toso's fear. She would need to handle that on another day, however.
"We'll escort using normal roads," this was an answer Kagerou didn't need to think about, "Once we reach the restaurant, I would like to request your Isekai-Junsei to transport me to the gates in a timely manner... I will make all the preparations I need at your restaurant." Ika Shokuji was also known as an artistic venue. It no doubt had the materials Kagerou needed to whip up some seals.
Others had already begun gathering the academy students, a few of them fresh genin, even. It was like her own first day as a genin. Some things... just really couldn't change, huh?
Turning to the woman who had just arrived at the academy and announced, without the slightest hesitation, that she wanted to help, Kagerou offered a suggestion, "If you don't mind, could you please find a sensor among the academy teachers and ask them to accompany me at the head of this group?".

"Understood. Bloop. I'll ensure things are properly readied for your arrival I trust you're capable enough individuals to lead this evacuation." Toso looked at Vivian and then at Kagerou. He didn't know Vivian but she produced something of a tingle in the squid in that she was somebody competent. He'd then nod in her direction. "Certainly all the help you can provide." Kagerou would then ask her to seek a sensor. Irony of course at its finest but the squid himself wouldn't even know that was one of her specializations. "With that being said bloop. I will see you there Ka-nee." Toso would re-enter Isekai Junsei through the still present but closed door. As it seemed there hadn't been any stowaways. In truth Toso should have returned to the field of battle against the slug...but currently...it seemed he was finding excuses not to. He'd make his exit where Kagerou may have found it in poor taste that he was leaving but truth be told everyone had their reasons for their actions.-exit

It was no other than Aurelia, Belamo's and Tsuki's daughter. The woman smiled and approached her, getting down on one knee. "There's no need to be scared little one, you have me here and these two powerful shinobi here. It's nothing worse than when we left Oto right?" She would say to the child, the child nodding in response. The woman would smile and pick up the little girl. "Okay kids, lets get going. We don't want to wait around too long." Vivian would say to the group, walking back over to Kagerou. "After you." Vivian had no idea she was the senior in this group but, she didn't really care about rank anyway. Kagerou seemed capable enough.
Mugen would nod, understanding his task. As Vivian and Kagerou seemed ready to move. He had heard the children refer to the Vivian as momma Viv, being the only clue he would have to her actual name. " She's right, ya know." Mugen said, kneeling before one of the children who still seemed to exhibit a great amount of fear. He flexed his bicep, showing off his slightly toned arms that would still impress a small child. " As long as we're here, there's no way anything bad can happen to you." He rustled the child's hair as they all seemed to rally behind Mugen's confidence. One shouted out. " Yeah, if Mugen-sempai is here he'll protect us too!" The group seemed ready to move, Mugen would prepare his own supplies, accounting for everything. "We move on your signal." He said, looking to Kagerou."

Hand taken, Freya found herself being whisk off while commotion ensued. Grouped together with the lot of smaller children, her task would be to look after the kids with the help of a few others. Emerald lenses glancing about the pig tailed Uchiha looked at the other's before nodding and attending to the children. "I understand lady Kagerou! I'll protect the rare while we move the children." A tone full of dedication the raven haired girl moved to hurdle the children together so they could start to move. "Um I'm also already to go!" As Freya spoke she'd pull her huge great sword from her back holster. The blade arcing skywards some of the children made a fuss. Before the blunt side came to rest along her shoulder blade.
A serious looking academy student turned to Kagerou and spoke for the children who were too shy to ask and the adults who were too proud to make a mistake. A curiosity that Kagerou took in stride with her never-faltering smile. Even the academy teachers looked at her waiting for her orders. She realized about then that Toso's quick to come and go attitude had given him the impression of a messenger relaying orders. It couldn't be helped, much like how Freya's enthusiasm to thrust herself into danger couldn't be helped. There wasn't the time to argue or change.
She gave out her orders in a clear voice that carried, "Academy teachers, position yourselves around the line of students and protect them as we move! Genin and senior students stay inside the line and watch over your underclassman, make sure they stay together! Students, everyone, please keep calm. None of us wanted this to happen, but it's exactly because our villages are so prone to such attacks that we're all learning, right? Have faith in yourselves and your teachers. We'll make it through together. As for our route, we will be cutting through the residential district's XX then YY streets. If anyone is separated, proceed to the emergency bunker entrances at AA and BB instead of Ika Shokuji."
A pause. A breath to let it all sink in. Time was of great concern, but to rush gave rise to panic and mistakes.
"If we all understand," a soft voice that seemed to ask for an opinion but left no room for an opinion to be actually given, "then let's move out!". It was a gesture to ease the mind and hide that there was precious little time for clarification, consideration, or do-overs. "Senseis at the front, please lead the way!" Kagerou set the ball moving.
As the evacuation started in earnest, she tugged lightly at Vivian's sleeve to attract the woman's attention. They would talk as they walked alongside the group, a conversation that would hopefully be brief. The medic hadn't forgotten about her. She just needed to handle the larger group first, and she hoped this sensor didn't mind that. "You're very good with children, Miss Viv." An icebreaker and also heartfelt praise. Vivian's handling of the children had reminded Kagerou to consider the mental state of the younger students in the orders she gave out. "I'm Kagerou. From up to 160 feet away it rips out chunks of the earth and pulls anyone except the user towards it center. Avoiding this pull requires an S ranks worth of stamina. Many unsuspecting opponents are simply pulled in with the earth debris and crushed while those that aren't need to then face the descent and subsequent crash of a newly formed satellite of rock and debris as the user causes it to be flung in their direction, functioning as it's own S ranked attack as well.

▰ Ascension | Rank C | Supplemental Through the Asura Path, the user is able to form up to four additional arms and two additional faces, as well as a folded, serrated blade-like sash around their waist. These additional appendages, as well as the user's body as a whole, are augmented with a variety of mechanical weaponry, which they can access at will. This technique must be used before other techniques of the Asura Path may be utilized.

It has enough destructive power to easily break through thick bedrock. As the hand portion is protected with chakra, it allows it to remain unscathed. When the attack is complete, the hand is drawn back like a magnet by chakra in the wrist, reattaching itself. Overwhelms physical barriers of the same rank and lower.
▰ Flaming Arrows | Rank A | Spiritual A four-barreled mechanism can take form on one of the Asura Path user's forearms. After the transformation is complete, the user may release a volley of 4 chakra-seeking missile projectiles from the user's forearm; they lock onto the target's chakra signature and will chase after their chakra signature. Each missile has a 20ft blast area; the blast inflicts major burns, can break wood and stone objects & sends anything within its area up to 12ft away with a strong concussive force. On the command of Kagerou the children would line single file the teacher of said students behind Vivian and the calmy assertive Kagerou. The few frightened encouraged by the 'cool' muscles of one Mugen Senju. Freya's sudden dedication inspiring some of the girls, and the aura of friendly confidence that emitted from the lady Vivian of whom some if not a majority were acquainted with. They would leave the Academy with few problems, and bright-eyed. Youths.
Vivian watched as the young man and lady went back getting the kids together, claiming they were ready to go. Her attention turned back to Kagerou as she felt her sleeve being tugged on. The woman smiled and placed Aurelia back on the ground, giving her a pat on the head. "Go with the group okay. I gotta be in the front and I wanna make sure you're with your friends." Vivian would say in a reassuring tone before walking along with Kagerou, making sure that Aurelia went with the group. "Well, thank you. I've spent a lot of time with the kids from Oto since we came here to help them adjust. And just Vivian is fine. Nice to meet you." The woman smiled as she walked along. "No worries, I'll make sure we're well aware of any problems coming our way and I'll defend with you at all times." She would say as the headed towards the Residential district.
Sheva walked through the halls of the Academy, there was a massive conflict outside of the Gates. She knew that making an appearance there would only mean certain death; she took to studying instead. If anything, she was seeing this training moment as a small way to up her chances of survival. Making sure you survive was the best motivator. She knew that she was able to channel her chakra and sense the things around her, though the conflict was dangerous of everything and everyone in the village; maybe she’ll be able to use it to hone her skill. She took a kunai from her pouch and held it in her hand, she channeled her chakra into her palm and it let off a faint glow. She threw it at the wall and held still. She seemed to easily locate it from a distance. The kunai itself gave off a small ‘ping’ noise as she concentrated.
Technique Learned: Noroshi [ Signal Fire ]
Sheva used the release handsign and the kunai seemed to lose its glow, she knew that at anytime she would be able to call upon this jutsu. She needed to move onto the next jutsu; with everything that was happening in the village right now, her main focus needed to be strengthening her own Jutsu powress. She needed to know how to expand her own chakra to sense what was in the room with her. Though she didn’t actively see anyone in the room with her, she needed to try. She mimicked handsigns like the one before and quickly placed her hand on the wall next to her. Her chakra seemed to Echo along the walls of the room and gave her different signals for what was in the room adjacent to her. There was nothing, but it would be useful for her in the future to know this one as well.
Mitsugo Heki [ Whispering Walls ] - Learned
She knew that she would have to try header then that to make it in the shinobi world. She knew that the battle at the gates had concluded and the village was left in never ruin. She needed to train hard and fast, she began putting in all her efforts into her own training. She sat down and placed her hands in the release handsign, she began to concentrate on the noises around her. There were the sounds of pieces of the buildings falling and shinobi helping the wounded, she began to channel her chakra into the release handsign; using it as a focus.
Yamabiko [ Echo ]- learned
The next technique that she wanted to learn was similar to the Body Flicker that she had witnessed shinobi use countless times before. But, this one was different. She knew that she would have to hone in her natural sensing abilities to help her move around. She stood up and looked at the wall, she wanted to move directly to it and stick. She placed herself in almost a runners stance and used the release handsign. She felt herself lift and vanish only to appear on the wall adjacent to her. Though she was slightly sliding down the wall, she loved this new sense of power that learning each technique was giving her.
