Mairi grimaced a bit. Would I have to... get shots? As far as I know... my parents... never tried after they 'gently' took me out of school... to get any. I do know I was... eight and a half when they did, she said quietly; she really hated needles. Kairi tilted her head, watching out of the windshield with interest.

Mairi shifted nervously as she saw a nurse with bronze skin, dark brown eyes, and a pale green outfit. If she remembered correctly, they were called 'scrubs'. "Come on back. Exam Two is open," the doctor said, introducing herself as 'Doctor Rasgotra'.

Mairi tilted her head at the female doctor's long black hair. "So, what are you here for?" Doctor Rasgotra said gently, noticing Mairi's nervousness. Um... stuffy nose, coughing, a pretty nasty headache and... well.. a fullness... beneath my eyes, Mairi said hesitantly. "Sounds like sinusitis, to me," the doctor said with a small smile. 'Sinusitis? Sounds like it's a bad rock band,' Mairi thought, unintentionally muttering it under her breath. From her mother's smothered laugh, she was trying not to laugh at that. "It's a fancy term for a sinus infection, specifically, an inflammation of the sinuses. So it's only beneath your eyes and above them?" the doctor said, gaining a reluctant nod. "Well, all you need is rest and lots of fluids. It should pass on its own, though a decongestant would help, I'm sure," Doctor Rasgotra advised.
