PearlZenith I mostly use my cellphone, or other people's wataches. I have a couple pocket watches, but they don't run very well currently. So, my project for this summer is to get them fixed. I'd love a human hair wig, styled like the Mary Magdalene head models. I'm growing my own hair out a little - it almost hits my shoulders in back - but I don't like dealing with the upkeep of long hair. I had waistlength for long enough to really hate it. A black parasol would definitely go better with your outfit. I'm glad to see you used Battenburg, though. I cannot stand the sight of the ugly all-over lace 'wedding' parasols. I just generally don't look too closely at photos posted in this thread, since this community has a lot of people who are new to lolita, or have only heard of it as it trickles down through the 'intarweb.' There are some other communities and websites that are for more perfection than here; often people post a few times and then never come back. I don't feel like expending my effort if it's never going to be seen. I to used to have long hair, the upkeep was horrible. split ends frissy days. Not easy to take care of. Pocket Watches are so elegant, I personaly believe they fit in with the style wonderfully. I agree I HATE those 300 pounds of lace parasols, However finding a BLACK battenburg isn't as easy as finding white ones. I have to crit my photos very closely due to the fact I post them on livejournal's EGL. any photo I don't think is perfect I hide it in my personal JOurnal. and when posting it to egl I have to point out my flaws, or else my photo will be crit'd to hell and back. Notice your own mistakes and the elitie lolitas will be easier on you. That and my best friend is an elitie LOlita, oh she will point out where I screw up. So I've learned very quickly.

I wanted to take a picture with my pwetty umbrella, but that would require having somebody take the picture, and I don't trust anybody but myself to take good pictures of me... >>;
I wasn't wearing a petticoat in the picture either so my skirt doesn't look poofy. ;-;

Me, in casual loli (though you really can't tell...) laying in bed with my stuffed animals... (My poor putumayo plushie is being squished by my head!)  And I just finished pimpin' up my room"   Why yes, in that first picture, there IS a Moitie bag on my wall! lol. It was my first Moitie bag, and I will cherish it forever. And that dark black diamond thing? Yep, my Malice Mizer HAND TOWEL! bwaahahaha!

My goodness, Sage. If people ever give me a hard time about my room again, instead of just staring at them, I'm going to show them a pic of your room...if you don't mind. I like it. I'm just saying, mine is not nearly approaching the level of decoration you've accomplished. My room at home, before I switched with my brother, yes. But not my dorm room.
You have a pretty face. ^__^ And I <3 you for having a mac in the first picture.

I like how it manages to combine white, black, and blue without looking tacky.

I don't have many good pictures yet, but if anyone wants, I'll be sure to post more as I take them! This one was just taken today in my Art class by my heart ful friend, Leila.  This one was taken by a professional at Rocky Horror Picture show~! From left to right is my nee-chan, Ari, moi in the center (with a V on my head. crying ), and my imoto-chan, Maki.  And this one isn't Lolita in the slightest, but it's pretty and I like it. ^-^

I would not normally post a pic of my self for fear that as soon as you see it your eyes would burn forever more but im sick and taking medicine so im not im my right mind blaugh
this is me at Oni-con '06 in Houston,TX...i was waiting in line for 12012 autograph...can you tell my feet were killing me..wearing 5" maryjanes all 3 days
