Ripps slipped onto the barstool next to him. "Could have gone smoother, but at least I found the little pest," she said as she pulled out her cigs and lit one as she ordered a tequila.

"That's good." He smiled slightly. "Want to go after him now, or later?"

"Later," she said as she blew the smoke through her nose. "I'm still gathering a little info on him as we speak." The bartender put her drink on a napkin coaster and went on to serve the other patrons.

"What have you learned?"

Ripps took a small sip from her drink, then downed it completely. "He's really arrogant," she said with a cringe as she put her glass back on the bar.

"He has a right to be. Last of his kind, he's lasted the longest." Bareq said and shrugged. "He is not the kind to let his arrogance get in the way of his survival. Where was he?"

"The first place I looked and the last place I expected," she said as she took a long drag off her cig and blew a smoke ring. "The Dark Arts Academy."

Bareq gave a cough of suprise on his drink. "what? Are there students?"

Ripps pulled one knee up to her chest and put the ashtray on it as she leaned back. "A few, but don't worry. Most of the kids there are no laughing matter," she said.

"I'm afraid he'll use them for a front line."

Ripps looked at him for a moment. "I didn't think of that...Oh well....More flesh for pounding into oblivion," she said as she put her cig in the ashtray and leaned up to grab her refilled drink.

"You will not kill them. They're innocents."

Ripps raised an eyebrow and took a small sip from her glass, lulling it in her mouth before swallowing. "Oh yeah, I forgot... You're a monk and killing innocents is a 'sin.'"

"dude, wa's wrong?" Urskil asked him with concearn.

"I have to go somewhere... I need to go and reach her...." he said weakly.

"But I am afraid I don't know the location. Only that it's in a old abandon church."

Urskils shirt was bloody, he didnt bother to put it back on. "Can you walk...?" He asked Ace, putting on his trench coat and concealing his weapons. he then turned to Serena, "Do you know if there are any abandoned churches nearby...?" He looked at her, forgetting once again no one could see his eyes.

"somewhat, yeah."
