"It's fine," Willow said, assuming a happier expression in an attempt to make Suwako's spirits lighter. "Those origami watch dogs didn't work well, either, did they? Don't take it so hard."

Willow nodded solemly, "Aye, I know how you feel. I haven't been able to do anything at all. At least you gave us that jade that's up there on the doorway." she pointed up above the front doors, where the small stone was attached to the spell.

"yeah but it's useless with out the charm" Suwako replied she felt a little better knowing she contributed something "And i'm sure your powers will help when we need them the most" She added now trying to cheer Willow up as she smiled

Cyra sat forward slightly, "You both have done quiet a bit more than I have. My abilities are about useless without a physical target and even with him standing in front of me I wouldn't have been able to get there in time."

Cyra looked completely lost at Willow's comment. "Dry up? What?" she hadn't heard that phrase used quiet that way before, and par of her chided herself for having lost track of the little details of speaking. Too much time in wolf form defiantly.

Willow laughed, and tried to cover up her mouth so she wouldn't offend Cyra. "'Dry up'; as in, ya know, 'shut up', but not in a mean way."

Cyra smiled slightly, crookedly, "Ah, I hadn't heard it used that way before. Lost track of time in my other form and kind of lost track of some of the changes in phrases."

Willow stopped laughing and smiled slightly, "Stay easy, yeah? I think you just haven't been in Ireland for very long. Don't feel so bad." she spun off of the desk once again and sat down in a real chair, resting her head on her arms.

Suwako just sat back and watched the two chat as she drank her tea, "atleast everyone is good spirits now" she thought to herself as she smiled

Bartheyamus had fallen asleep for a brief moment. Anger made him drowsy afterwards. He opened his eyes and wearily looked at Willow.
"That picture of a burning girl, did you ever have witch trials here in Ireland?"

Willow raised an eyebrow at Bartheymus' question. She did not answer right away, seeing that she was still slightly angry at him for insulting her inn. "No," she finally replied, "Not in Blackthorn; or at least not as far as I know."

Sayomi looked at her hands, folded in her lap as the others spoke of their abilities. "I can do nothing that will aid us here," The girl murmured, hating her lack of training.
She looked to the vampire as he spoke to the inn keeper. Her eyes narrowed thoughtfully as she looked at the picture. She squinted at the image, frowning slightly.
"To me it looks as if she is being condemned. Perhaps punished?" Sayomi shrugged, her folded wings giving a little flutter at the motion. She leaned back, unable to look away from the drawing.
