Alex exhaled slowly, leaning his head back on the wall and loosening up, letting his legs straighten out on the ground. He traced a finger on the ground, his eyes closed as he sang a little tune to himself. Everything would be fine. He was sure of it. There was no way he'd suffer for too much longer.
"Ai, just where are you taking me?" Yuri sighed, following her sprite through the air on a path of blue flames. After leaving Tohru's house Ai had taken a sudden path and leading her to the. . .hospital? Oh, no. . .A voice floating through the air made her glance down on the roof and spot Alex sitting there. . .singing? She didn't know he could sing. And it was really nice. But she quickly grabbed Ai and directed her path to the top of the little room Alex seemed to be leaning against and landed quietly on the top, peeking over the edge.
Alex hesitated every time a burn ran through him, which thankfully wasn't often. His finger stopped tracing the ground as his necklace formed in it. He gripped it tightly but before anything could happen Button came charging out of the stairs room and tackled the necklace, which Alex had loosened from his grip at that moment (Yuri stifled a giggle at this). Once the black fluff skidded to a stop, he sat in front of Alex with the necklace in his mouth, tail wagging happily.

"Good boy buttons, heh you my fluffy menace are getting so many treats when we get down from here, heck maybe ill even bring you over and let roan cook for you" shin smiled walking over to alex, applauding the heroic puppy. "As for you lex...remember when you first ended up here, conveniently without telling us, how I really wanted to be angry at you, and scream and beat the snot out of you...well now I really really want to" he sighed kneeling down next to alex running his hand over his firends hair "Your just lucky I dont have a temper" frowning as he watched his friend, it wasnt fair that the guy had to suffer all the time, suffer though this even.
It was even less fair though for him to treat them like this "I gotta know, if you just asked for help once in a while would you burst in to flames or something horrible?" he could get it the guys need to be independent and stubborn and not ask for help when he needed it, fine he could deal with that, but this was a bit bigger then something like that, this was his own life he was playing with..

Alex sighed, curling a hand into a fist as he tried to think of what he could say. But honestly, what could he say? He worried his friends sick, he refused their help. . .he just plain couldn't trust in anyone anymore. It was no wonder Yuri had gotten sick of him. Button barked happily as he was praised, turning his head upward for a moment before laying on the ground and chewing on the necklace.
Yuri ducked a little before looking over the two boys, glad that Shin had been with Alex, though she didn't dare think about the damage she had probably done. She had to hold tightly onto Ai to keep the little sprite from flying off down to them. Alex's struggle with words made her stomach twist into knots (though, she didn't deny it was also probably because of the baby). What he said, though, after what felt like a while disturbed her most:
"I just. . .don't really care enough to take care of myself," Alex sighed, leaning his head back against the wall. "Why bother if there's all this suffering."

Sasha's wolves slowed down to a stop at least a couple yards from the hospital. When Sasha's stopped, she climbed down from it and it evaporated. Then she stood and waited for Enzai and Nia with reluctance; they were the ones that came to get her so it wasn't much of a choice.

Shins eyes widened a little bit at what alex said, shaking his head as he glared at his friend "Because you b*****d if you dont ill kick your a** thats why, you cant tell me your quitting because I wont buy into it lex. You've got a wife, and a bunch of family and friends who love you, what better reason do you need to care?" he growled honestly hed never wanted to hit lex more then right now. <******** mean seriously if you were gonna pull something like this and just decide you dont give a damn any more you should have done it a hell of a lot earlier alex, cause im not gonna let you, heh you should have ditched me back when you had the chance, cause when it comes to something like this I promise im more stubborn then you, only way your going to get to die on us is if I say so, and thats not happening unless I suddenly vanish" shin smirked casting a seething glance up at yuri before focusing back on alex, "Shed better get the hell down here right now and help me convince him or I swear ill hate her.." Alright so he was a little bit angry with alex, just a tad...

Enzai sighed as the wolf stopped getting off the thing and just glaring at it "Guess what sasha, I found something else I hate in the world, isnt that just wonderful?" he smiled brushing himself off, atleast he was mostly dry now, that was pleasant "So lets go find that bratty brother of yours hmm...before he escapes again and we have to track him down"

Nia dismounted the conjoured wolf as soon as it had stopped. She paid no attention to the thing as it dispersed and turned back into water molecules in the air. Never again. She looked at the hospital for a moment, before looking at Enzai.

"Well, good for you. And I hope you've been exercising because I saw a streak earlier on the roof of this place," Sasha said as she focused and allowed her body to float on the microscopic water molecules that lurked in the air; it was so basic and so fun! "I could always try and make you float though. But I've never tried another person." She was lying, of course; she knew perfectly well how to make another person float.
"What family? They left me behind. That's all anyone's ever done so far," Alex said, controlling the shaking in his voice. His parents left him, Yuri left him. . .hell, even Shin sounded fed up with it. He winced and looked away from his friend, each word piercing through him like a dagger; he'd had all the time, sure, but nothing had ever gotten this bad. He wished he were a little kid again so that he could just curl up in his Uncle's arms and cry. Because honestly, that's what he felt like doing right now.
Yuri flinched at the look Shin gave her. She knew that she had to go down and help, but she was too afraid. What if Alex rejected her? What then? She remembered what Tohru had said though and sighed, as though resigned to the worst, and crawled over to the right edge, carefully lowering herself over the edge and landing softly on the ground below. Then she carefully walked forward and peeked around the corner at first, though a shove from an irritated Ai made her actually walk up to them, though she stopped once she was a couple feet away from Alex. She held her hands nervously together and looked away from him for moment before looking at Alex and gaining enough courage to speak, though before she had the chance, Alex spoke.
"What do you want? If you're going to yell again then just go away," he said, curling both his hands into fists to prevent them from shaking. Alex didn't want to deal with that. Not anymore. Though a rather painful feeling ran through his body and he placed his hands flat on the ground and tensed up to keep from yelling out.

"Im fine with stairs, gods I dont trust you and your magic not to kill me" enzai scowled shaking his head "No thanks ill walk climb..do anything other then take another ride on one of your creations" motioning to nia as he started towards the hospital, stairs it was!
Shin sighed as alex spoke, just sinking down next to the guy "But you do have family, idiot...Sasha and tohru count? I dont care who your parents were they werent your family if they ditched you..and what about us huh? I mean I know I dont count for much but im kinda something arent I? Name one time ive ever left you, if you can ill just back off and let you die" shin smiled a little bit, seeing alexs look just crushed him though...
"Ah..lex..mmkay that was just mean of me and im a jerk but its true...how come you manage to make me feel guilty huh?" and he seriously did right now, he didnt want to be mad at lex, it was really hard to stay mad at him, again a lot like a little kid. Biting on his lip a little at alexs reaction to yuri..whatever had really happened between them it definetly wasnt anything good, lex normally didnt snap like that.
"H-hey, shes not gonna yell okay..neither am I..right?" he asked giving yuri a sad look "Right we arent..just, we dont want you to die lex, I know living is like the suckiest thing for you right now but you can stay around a little longer for us cant you? Im being really selfish I know, asking you to do this..." he sighed again watching alex tense, the guy was in a lot of pain, not just physical either. Giving yuri a kind of pleading look, he didnt want her to run off right now, lex needed her a lot, and he did to.
Sighing again as he just hugged the guy messing with his hair as he did, he didnt care right now, lex couldnt die, it wasnt allowed.

Nia caught up with Enzai, grabbing the man's hand as they walked, "Alex seems to be very mad at the moment. Such fun, the dying anyways."

Enzai squeezed her hand and smiled as they walked through the place towards the stairs "Very mad, heh I only wish we didnt have to help him live, ech, its gonna leave a bad taste in my mouth for a long time" mm irked him just a bit but oh well he was sure the boy was suffering enough and that satisfied him a bit. "Mmm, maybe we should abandon them for a moment and just be together, heh cause some trouble.." he grinned, he shouldnt be thinking about something like this right now but she was just so sexy when she was being evil.

"Well, you better wash your mouth out. I don't want to taste it, when I kiss you," Nia stated, smirking at Enzai as she squeezed his hand back. It wasn't as if she wanted to help him either, but she went along with Enzai because she wanted to help him get back at Sendoran, and she loved him. What more reason could she have? Abandon saving the dying? That sounded intriguing, "I don't see why we can't. Could always get back to what we were originally doing..." Too bad she knew he was kidding, or she would have dragged him out of the hospital already.

"H-He's right. I won't, i promise," Yuri said in response. She didn't say anything when he winced, though her heart ached, seeing him like this; it wasn't right. It just wasn't right or fair. Not feeling comfortable standing up, she knelt down on the ground and kept her hands in her lap, trying to think of what to say next. "Alex. . .I know I messed up. I know I shouldn't have snapped at you but. . .come on, you have to understand! I'm worried about you! Everyone is! And you're not helping by leaving everyone in the dark."
Alex relaxed a little bit as his pain vanished, though he didn't look at Shin or Yuri; just what was he supposed to do? Was he expected to just take everything how it was right now? Was he supposed to just take all the pain and get smothered by all the hateful feelings that kept popping up? He made no movement that he'd felt Shin's hug at all.
"Alex, come on! Why are you even thinking like this? You're going to leave everything behind, just like that?" Yuri tried to catch the boy's eye, though he simply avoided hers. She bit on her lower lip but didn't give up, edging towards him a little closer. "Please. . .I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean what I said. I'm just so worried! If you just go and die you're leaving behind your child, too, you know! Do you really want to do that?"

"Fine Ill do it as soon as I get home" enzai smiled giving her a mistchevious look "Mmm your right..gah..well get it over with quickly and then well go back to what we were doing" he sighed wanting to growl, oh she was so cute, but they had stuff to do. Pulling nia into a small hug as they got up to the roof, letting go as they spotting the group of three. "Looks like things have been going badly for them.." idiots all of them.
"Lex please please..were sorry okay, swear it" at first he was really kinda surprised to hear that..that yuri was, well..yeah. It was kind of shocking though it shouldnt have been, he wanted to be really happy for her and alex right now, it sucked that he had to hear that kind of news in a situation like this.. Giving alex a squeeze as he watched him "Lex, shes right you know that, leaving a kid behind is the worst thing you could do...you know that better then any one right? You cant abandon us or him, specialy your kid and yuri."
"Ech goodness, such drama..little brat cant hang on just a few more moments for us to heal him? Again pathetic..." enzai smirked walking over to the group "Trust me brat as much as it hurts me to say this..seriously it burns.." he chuckled "I have to agree with both of them, as much as I hate and despise all of you, you espescialy alex, you arent allowed to die, because we need you" he smiled "That and if you die who would be around to protect your precious widow and your brat from me hmm? You wouldnt leave the innocent to the wolfs would you?" he couldnt imagine him doing it, the boy seemed like to much of a heroic type to abandon people who needed him.

Nia doubted the little problem would be over with quick enough for her. Secretly she wondered if he could die right here, but that wasn't what Enzai wanted, and she kept it to herself. For the moment their objective was keeping the dying moron alive, right? She followed Enzai, still holding his hand, standing beside him. Yuri looked on the verge of tears, possibly, and Shin just looked tired and upset. Not that she could blame him, anyone would be upset having to sit there and wait for the idiot to kill himself. How hard could it be, anyways? "Hey, I like little kids. They go squish!"
