Bez head reappears above the trapdoor. "Care to share the secret? What's in the bottle?" he asks with a curious frown.

Liquified Garlic and Onions, laced with the barest hint of peppers, and all encased in a special boiled down venison broth, then aged as it sits on the shelf. One of Thyrion's commands is to burn out any bacteria or mold that even thinks about getting in. It's concentrated flavor, nothing more.

Ai stirs slightly rolling over and pinning him with a forearm. "Go to sleep, Taro..." she grumbles sleepily, though it appears she really isn't fully awake and talking in her sleep.

And so they nap until dinnertime, when Salunia comes to get them. "Unkwel Bez is so silwy." she giggles as she jumps on the bed. "He gots a table sheet, candles, and everytin downstair."

Between the two of them they managed to wake Ai up without her knowing what's up. Salunia wants to tell her because she thinks its funny, but Kero wants it to be a surprise.

She closes the window, then looks about the room a bit, as if looking for something, then slowly goes to the trap door and makes her way down. She looks a bit worried, but not overly so.
As Salunia said, the kitchen is quite festive. There are individual pannikins for everyone, topped by a thick slice of bread buried beneath a layer of toasted cheese. Bez has served them on a red table cloth with tall mugs of cider, fresh for the kids, stronger for the adults. Fresh cut flowers, definitely out of season dot the table as well as an array of candles, scattered about the room, creating a wonderland out of the kitchen.
Ai's face as she enters is amusing. She doesn't seem to know whether she should laugh or cry. Bez simply ushers her to her seat and gives her a hug.
"Sleep well?" he asks as if he ate like that every night of the week.
