Kero comes flying out of the palace, his eyes black. Not white with big pupils, not dilated, not even a lack of Iris. Black as night, a symptom of Occlusion. He rushes into the stables, following the energy signatures to find his little girl, his worry for her etched into his face.

Lyssan signals to Amestru to detain the search parties and runs after him, her robes flying in the wind.
AT the far end of the main stable, pass the alarmed riding beasts in the closed box once used to hold the ill-fated nightmare, she finds him tearing up the floorboards.
"Hey now... Whatever be ye doin', mage?" demands the head groom running over frantically waving to his assitants to calm the nervous griffins.

Kero looks at him, unnerving him with his coal-black eyes, as he continues to tear off boards to find his little girl.
"I am finding my daughter, who needs to be reminded that Daddy loves her very very much"

Lyssan holds up her hand and calms the irate groom. "Peace, my old friend, if he believes Luna is down there, then let him find her. She's frightened enough without the two of you arguing above her head."
"But who's going to repair the damage?" demands the groom testily.
"I will." says Lyssan calmly, keeping an eye on Kero as he works. "Whatever he damages I'll put back as it was... just let him be. We need to find her and fast, before she bolts again."

Kero nods at that, continuing to get down into the ground. Finally, as he thrusts his hands into the dirt, he comes across a familiar set of scales, and hauls the small black dragon forth into his waiting arms, which curl around her protectively in a warm hug.
"Shhhh...I am here, Luna. Hush now. You are in no trouble at all. Come, little one. Let us go back upstairs. Hush now. Listen to my words."
Lyssan and the groom both have to fight, each one of them feeling the weight of the voidmage's hypnotic voice. He isn't using magic, merely keeping his voice soothing and calm, and the effect it has is astounding.

Lyssan quickly breaks free of the compulsion and begins to repair the damage to the stable floor, setting to work an entire hill of carpenter ants who are suddenly far more intelligent and capable than nature might have allowed for. Then she takes off running behind the mage. hoping he can keep the little dragon calm and under control, forgetting all about the little creatures she had set loose upon her unsuspecting head groom and his precious stable.

Kero, sensing her behind him, whirls around, his iridescently black robe flaring out, and admonishes her with his eyes, which whirl into a dull scolding red.
"And you will just leave Carpenter ants in a stable? What of the Groom? He loves the stable. So please, turn around, leave Luna to me, and go and help fix the stable."

"I gave them explicit instructions to repair the damage. What harm could they do? Honestly, Kero, you worry far too much. They're ants for heavens sake... builders. And I've given them the smarts with which to build." retorts the kitsune testily. "How is she? She's not hurt or anything, is she?" she asks worriedly, openly torn between staying with Kerobian and returning to see how her little workers were getting on.

"She's fine, and everyone hovering around her will only maske things worse. She needs to be with Tes and I right now. No one else, not even Grandma. Go and supervise those insects, before they decide that the door is a giant hole in the stable and try to repair it."
With that, he turned and marched away again, heading into the keep with his little draconic daughter held in his arms, leaving Lyssan standing there, a little nonplussed. Had she just been scolded by the Voidmaster, someone who is technically her nephew, son, and grandson all in one package?

Lyssan returns to stable just in time, to find the ants had chosen to bring their nest up into the light of day. There is a thriving metropolis in the closed box, complete with sky scrapers and a public transportation system. Even to her this seems a bit rushed and over done, but to the head groom it is a travesty.
"Where am I going to store the grain? There is no way I can keep it here now... they'll just help themselves to the largess and pat themselves on the back for such marvelous happenstance." he grumbles, cuffing a stable hand who is peering into the box in delight.
"Hey now... back to work with ye... all of ye.." he crows at his charges.
Lyssan chuckles softly. "Let me speak with them. Surely some sort of arrangement can be come to. Perhaps I can barter a food for work arrangement. Surely there must be some things you could use a hand with around this place. Even be the hand far smaller than thy own."

Kero has carried Luna up in the meantime, sprouting his wings and flying high into his tower, gently setting her on her bed, where Tes and Nimbus are sitting, Nimbus cradled in Tes's arms.
"I found her. She was hiding from us, because she thought she was a bad girl. Perhaps it's time for all of us to have a big talk together."

Luna hangs her head and cowers between them. "I am bawd... I go pop agin..." she whipers in a husky voice. Her sorrow and shame is plain in her very carriage. Never has the mage seen her so upset or depressed.

Kero gently gathers her into his arms, his strength plain and evident, as is his love for her. He hugs her close, letting the security of being with him fill her body.
"You were not bad, Luna. Teleportation isn't a bad thing, you just have to know when to use it."

She sighs and looks about her room, seeing the empty places where her toys should have been. At least the box seems untouched, but most of her possessions, including her fairy friend's new little house are missing. The room is clean and spotless, but sadly quite empty feeling.
"Buff I go pop inside and tings went pop too... wots of tings." she argues sadly.

Kero nods, understanding.
"I know. It was like you were filled with some kind of energy, huh. Really powerful, and it wanted to do something, anything. And the angrier you got, the more energy you felt, and the more it wanted to do, until you finally had to let it out, huh?
