Rayne nodded. He went to get up, but stopped suddenly, his leg aching more than ever. "Ugh... I need a few minutes, alright?"

Claire nodded and took a bottle filled half-way with a blue liquid, a potion. 'This is the one that doesn't have side effects like sleep, so it should be fine..' She thought before holding the bottle out to Rayne. "Here, this'll make it hurt worse and hopefully heal it." She said after she'd switched out of her plush form.

Rayne hesitated but uncorked the bottle. He chug it down. Suddenly, he was on his knees and let out a loud scream before he realized what he was doing.

Claire threw her hands to her ears, then realized the noise was loud. She quickly put a hand over Rayne's mouth. 'What just happened..?' The blonde thought to herself, confused why he had such a strange reaction to the potion.

Rayne got the message quickly and chomped down on his lips until the pain disappeared to keep himself from screaming even more. "That hurt..." He muttered, removing her hand away from his face.

Claire took her hand back, "Why'd you scream?" she whispered, looking to the door quickly then back to Rayne, confused.

"Screaming makes me feel better when I'm in a lot of pain. It's more or less just a weird reaction to pain." The thief explained with an innocent smile. He stood up and walked over to the wall. It was lined with gold artifacts. Rayne made sure he wasn't drooling.

Claire hit Rayne upside the head, "Idiot, you don't have time to dawdle on the gold here, we have to find Jayden." she said in a slightly annoyed tone.

"I don't remember him being my brother, so it's not like I have a must-same relationship with him. It's more of a.... will-save-eventually relationship." Rayne explained, opening the door. "I hope we meet up with Terra soon. I miss her already." He said with a little frown.

Claire rolled her eyes; Rayne was more trouble to keep with than he was worth. "If we hurry and save Jayden then you'll be able to see Terra sooner." she said in an attempt to get him moving.

Rayne liked that thought. He hurried down the corridor. He didn't want to get himself cut in another battle, not now. "Where can Jayden be...?" He asked himself, opening door after door once he cleared the first corridor.

Claire shook her head in disbelief. She missed Draco as much as he missed Terra, but she wasn't as carefree as him either. "Be careful." she warned; she didn't want to run into one of those evil suits of armor again.
