Cody thought for a moment, scratching at one ear absentmindedly "Find shin...we know alex is out there, and hes safe im pretty sure...if hes not doing okay then he will be once he runs into sasha, if we started going after him constantly though, hed only push us away and run farther" the dog said smiling "Oh, I know another thing we could do is find roan maby, either that or go to your house, I wanna see what it looks like" the dog said wagging his tail.

Codys ears flicked a bit before folding back against his head "Finding him....I can allways find shin, doesnt matter where he is, somehow Ive allways been able to track him down, its harder though now that he can fly and all that. Doesnt mean we cant look for him though does it!" the dog said happily wagging his tail.
"You dont wanna find your place? Atleast you and alex have something in common, you hate having to go home. Hate going home it sounds like" the dog said his nose to the ground now as he paced a little, finaly picking a direction and walking in it.
((So where to now......hospital, kamada rocks...kittens?)) ((Let's do rocks then hospital. It'd be hard for Tohru to explain if a dog just charges through X3))

Alex arrived at his house with Shin behind; he had gone slow so that his friend could easily follow. "Alright. How to start, I wonder?" He walked cautiously up to the massive lump, wondering if anything really had survived.

Shin shrugged watching the boy "Start the same way as anyone else lex, fromt he begining, heh, that or start from where you kept the stuff you wanted the most" shin said sighing a little as he walked into the rubble looking at his friend.

Alex scanned the area before spotting the area where his room had been. he immediately headed towards it, lifting a rather heavy rock away from where his bedside table was, which was now pretty much just a pile of dust. However, nearby, were a couple of ash-covered books, both of which he recognized and was rather glad to see. "Well, this is a pleasant surprise," he said, a small smile on his face as he picked up both books, getting rid of the ash that was covering them. Neither book had a title on, and neither book appeared to be in a readable language.

"Lex, is a book worm, figured as much" shin said smiling glad the boy had found something hed been missing, he sounded happy about it too "So should I ask what the books are about? You seem pretty happy to have found them" he said walking up to his friend "Or will I not get an answer if I ask"

"Book worm? That hurts, it really does," Alex said, showing it, too before brushing it aside. "Well, they had info on Night Fall. Took a couple days to translate, but I found out a ton of things on Night Fall. Of course, with Dairen dead, the info was pretty useless. But it wasn't just information on Night Fall." He opened one of the books, skimming through the pages. "There's a lot of other catastrophes that can happen, similar to Night Fall. Which, apparently, has a legend as to how the foul thing even came to be." He shut the book, obviously not going to read the legend aloud. "I don't really know their names, 'cause I'm not that far yet. But there's this one that really bugs me. Sendoran. That's the one." Something about the name sent chills down his spine.

"Sorry sorry, my bad" shin said glaring at the books a little bit "Dont say that lex, that kind of knowledge is allways good to have around, even if bat freak is dead...sendoran...is a realy creepy name, I dont like it, sounds almost like poison" shin said looking away from the closed books.

"The name means death. It's probably the foulest thing in this book. I'm not sure how the catastrophes are ordered, but I think they're ordered from not so deadly to extremely deadly, in terms of attack, anyway," Alex explained. "I still don't really know what Sendoran's about, but I don't think I want to know about it." Something was starting to bug him right now. He couldn't really explain what, but he doubted it was good.

"Wow, sound like a realy happy sunshiny book lex" shin said sarcasticaly "I honestly, dont like it, its evil, and as far as im concerned things with the name death should be avoided, heh no mater how there color coded" shin said smiling a little the smile fading as he looked at his friend. "Kay lex whats up, youve got this worried look on your face" he said watching his friend.

"Eh? Ah, nothing. Nothing important," Alex lied. He kept one hand on the cover of one of the books, not sure he really wanted to know what was wrong. "Well, I'm pretty sure this is all we're going to find here," he said after shaking his head clear and keeping a firm grip on the books. "Any place you wanna head to?"

"Yeah lex, I wanna follow your bad feeling, youve never been wrong with those things" shin said laughing a little "Did I mention your a crappy liar? oh well..ya know what thats fine..I realy dont know where to go...heh anywhere but home I guess..maby we could go see sin and denkou in the hospital, though I doubt theyd be happy to see me there, im kinda not supposed to know about that yet" the boy said shrugging.

"I know that my bad feelings tend to be right. And that's what I hate about it," Alex said quietly. He was only half-listening when Shin mentioned going to the hospital, but didn't really respond. He only managed to catch the last sentence, though. "You aren't? Then how'd you find out?"
