Gorgeous work, spuntino - how do you make those 'chandelier' necklaces? Well, I suppose asking that would be like asking a trade secret, wouldn't it? ^^;;

Ohhh, Kate.

I loves me that Cameo Chandelier Necklace, though I wouldn't wear it with a blouse, and it would be insanely long on me without it.
(Also leering at the birdcage, mmm)

No secret, they're interlinked chains of pearls I made.

Ginny: I can always make it shorter if you want. ;D

I can't remember if I ever posted in here. Well, here's a necklace I sculpted a while ago -m- and the hoodie I just 'finished' yesterday O.O.
It's hardly lolita, but the aesthetic I want to build my wardrobe off of.
I am so done being a butch.

Both links lead to the clay necklace rather than going to the sweatshirt, but good job on the jewlery anyway! Maybe I should attempt to do some of my own this summer...

@spuntino: I know I've used that technique now, but it was a while ago. Not terribly great materials, either. :/

Not terribly great materials? What do you mean? The pearls were no good or the metal? Both?

I get most of my beads at Michael's or custom crafting shops. The findings all come from Hobby Lobby, though. They're cheap as, but usually they're just fine.

Wha--?? Ohhh dear NONONONONO it's not like that at all! I'm so sorry that came across that way! I, in no way, meant to offend your work or you for that matter! What I meant to say was that I tried using two strings for parting and rejoining them mindfully so as to reach a double looping effect, but I used super-cruddy plastic... "beads".

The pearls are darling, don't worry. I just need to watch myself from now on. ^-^

I like the bead accents on you hair corsages, by the way, Cryin. :3

Your welcome. And sorry to hear about your original getting lost in the mail; I would probably get miffed to the point where I wouldn't bother mailing out the duplicate. XD

I get really miffed with the post office, but I'm so proud of the things that I make, and I have this thing about making customers happy that so long as I already have the materials required, I typically make the offer of one replacement free of charge. Beyond that, they're on their own.

When you said you were having troubles, I assumed you meant your own materials. I was just suggesting places to find the things I've used that have worked out fine. haha

Doublestrands are hard to manage without very well graduated beads.
