Calmly walking alongside his newfound friend, Velvanir felt slightly odd, and yet, it felt so natural to him as well. He figured that being around a human and talking with them would be nothing but an odd and painful experience, basing what he could see from TV. As he walked with both hands in his pockets, he seemed only slightly overtaken in his own thoughts, though they meant nothing to anyone, not even Velvanir himself.
"Oh, me? Uhm...actually, I don't," he said, quickly delivering himself from his mind and focusing on Juna, "You'd be my first."

Sylkis At the cafeteria, Rin had taken one look at the lineups and decided against having anything substantial. She spotted a basket of apples and inched over. Grabbing one, she looked around the cafeteria, try to decide whether to sit or go outside to eat. Oh, Erin! there's a familiar face... She saw the brunette sitting along, heartily tucking into a plateful of waffles whilst looking at her schedule. She made her way over and plonked herself down on the seat opposite Erin. "Good morning, Erin! How was your sleep? I see you've got yourself quite the breakfast..." She bit into her apple, savoring the juicy suppleness of it. "Oh, hey Rin." Aaron had managed to swallow down the bite of waffle he had in his mouth before speaking. "Oh, you mean these? They were my favorite food when I was little. I... haven't really eaten them recently..." His voice suddenly got quiet as his mind slowly began rooting up memories he'd supressed long ago. Shaking his head to clear out the thoughts, he smiled up at her with as good of a fake smile as he could. "Do you want to sit down?"

Alex was a little surprised at her movement, calming down when her lips met his own. That breif moment in time was... too breif, in Alex's opinion. He'd much rather it last longer. After she had pulled away and sat back down, Alex smiled faintly, looking to her. "Unless you did that." he repeated. Two days, and I have met two girls. I have also kissed both of them. Damn this is a good year so far! Alex thought, smiling at the thought.
"Now.... how would you respond if I asked you out on a date?" Alex asked, making the question seem hypothetical.

She pretended to consider his question. "Well... I think I would say yes. Or rather, I would want to say yes, but you are otherwise attached at the moment. I'd also wonder how you plan to pull off an actual date, seeing as we attended a school that is practically seperated into male and female sides." She smiled. She'd love it if Alex asked her out actually.

((I'm finally replying! Woo!
And this could have been longer, but I was rushed. @.@ ))
Mizuki awoke when there was light streaming gently through her dorm window. Blinking lazily, she raised into a sitting position, stretched, then stood. A glance at the other bed told her that Erin was already up. Wow, she woke up early. She thought to herself, before looking at the clock on her bedside table. It was fifteen 'til seven o'clock, and she almost choked. Erin hadn't gotten up so early, after all. Mizuki herself had wanted to be up at six so she could have time for a shower and then breakfast. Now her shower would be rushed and, most likely, her hair would still be somewhat wet when she arrived in the cafeteria. Great.
Mizuki hurredly gathered up her school uniform, dashed into the bathroom, and undressed to take a luke-warm shower. Normally, she liked it much warmer than that, seeing as she disliked cold showers so much, but she compromised to help wake herself up. She was done in a record time of eight minutes and was out the door in an equally amazing three minutes.
Once in the cafeteria, Mizuki saw that some students were already leaving to relax before classes started at seven thirty. She got a bowl of cereal, a banana, and a cup of yogurt that she would mix with grape nuts. It was a childhood habit of hers. Turning to face the room, she scanned for anyone she knew.

Juna was surprised how much the simple statement cheered her. "I'm very glad of that," she said, kicking a nearby stone and watching it skip out into the grass. After a short pause, she said with a bit less vigor, "Me, neither." It was true. Her other roommate, yes, there had been tons of connection there, but she seemed to have dropped off the face of the planet. She let this thought drift from the conversation, focusing on the skinny-structured man at her side. Had she inched closer, ever so slightly?
Though he had odd skin, a lack of social understanding, and a saddening past, Juna felt attached to him somehow, attracted. Maybe it was the older man factor, or maybe it was the fact that he was her first companion there. Or, just maybe, it was the soft sway of the breeze, the sweet smell of trimmed grass, and the morning sun creeping into existance. She felt warm and cuddly inside.

"Haha, don't apologize for your appetite! I eat a lot too, when I have my favourite food." Rin giggled, watching Erin, interpreting her sudden silence as embarrassment. Hmm, this is a really sweet apple. She took another bite, then sat down. "Hope you don't mind if I do." She looked up for a second and spotted Mizuki looking around. "Oh, Mizuki's here! OVER HERE, MIZUKI!" She waved and hollered, not very ladylike. Rin didn't really care too much about impressions once she had a few friends.

Hearing her name screamed across the room, Mizuki's head swiveled around to detect the source. Immediately, she saw Rin and Erin sitting at a table. Rin was waving at her. Mizuki smiled, a little amused at her bahavior, and made her way over. "Good morning, you two! Sleep well?" She greeted energetically, despite the fact that she was still a little tired. She set her tray down on the table, took her seat, then brushed stray strands of slightly damp hair out of her face. Glancing around, she saw that the few woment working in the kitchen had given Rin odd looks or rolled their eyes. She ignored them.

Velvanir sought to make a friend, and that he achieved by just one simple, random chance. It was odd to him that it was that quick, but then again, some things in life are not always slow to behold. "How so? By the way you were..." Velvanir paused in his statement to adjust his position slightly farther away from Juna after noticing he was getting too close for some reason. He somewhat figured it wasn't him that moved, but he'd change his location anyways. "...were...talking earlier, I thought that you had many friends here."

Aaron remained quiet, not wanting to interrupt their conversation about things. He just merely nodded in greeting when Mizuki came to the table, and gave a tiny smile before returning to his food. He finished his waffles and set the tray aside, continuing to examine his schedule. What would choir be like? He hoped he was liked, or at least tolerated.

"Yeah, I slept a little too well, actually. I wanted to get up earlier, but oh well." At the mention of her shower, Mizuki reached up to feel how wet her hair still was. Not too bad. It'd be completely dry in time for class. "Yep. Needed a clean start to the new school year." Wincing at the unintentional pun, she turned to blink at Erin. "Well, you're quiet this morning. Are you feeling okay?" She watched her as she started to munch on her cereal.

Juna chuckled, not noting in the slightest of change in their pace. "Well, techinically, I had a friend, my old roommate. I'm not sure where she is now, but she drew me. It was very sweet. Actually, I haven't even met my new roommate yet. Hm." Having just remembered this fact herself, she took a few moments to ponder the statement. They would have to meet sooner or later. Suddenly and shocking remembering he was there, she looked up, speaking at the same time. "Do you enjoy the company of your roommate?" she asked, interested. If she was his first friend, then what had happened to his roommate?
Juna. Introverted, step-by-step, over-professional Juna. Juna had made a friend. A guy-friend, even. A small smile crept upon her face. This was the longest she had ever had a conversation with a person willingly, especially one of the opposite gender, and so it was very easy to consider him a friend. Waiting for a response and radiating cheer, she kicked another pebble along in front of her.

The brunette hesitated again on the word 'stepfather'. "He says I'll just have to get used to it, but I don't know anything about it..." He stared back at his schedule, looking at the teachers. I'll have to befriend them first, Aaron thought, so that I won't get in huge trouble when everyone figures out I'm actually a guy. Well, hopefully I'll have a few teachers by my side, anyway. Aaron shook his head to clear those out, and realized that Rin and Mizuki were still listening intently to him. "Oh! I'm sorry! Kinda spaced out there..."

Anya slowly opened her eyes as the sunlight streamed in on to her face. She blinked a few times and rubbed her eyes. Then she looked at the clock. "oh my god! I slept in too late!" Anya said as she threw back her blankets and rushed to get dressed. She had pulled on her uniform and grabbed her bag before she noticed that Leigh wasn't there.
Hmm, she must be out on the grounds or something. Anya thought as she opened the door and stepped into the hall locking it behind her. If I wander around long enough I'll probably run into her. Anya locked the door and headed out to the grounds. She went sat in her favorite spot, under the tree where she had met Alex. I wonder where he is anyway. Anya thought I really hope I see him today I've missed him. She pulled out her sketchbook and began to sketch the dorm building.
