Is is a part of everyone's pet peeves, the overly girly Uke. =/
Sorry.
Anyway, a big problem I have with it.
Uke: *Turns around with a snack* Hello *giggles*
Seme: *Strattles Uke* Why hello there *Bites the piece of snack in Uke's moutch and starts feeling up the Uke's parts*
Uke: *Squeals* Oooooh, what are you doing?!" *Blushes*
Seme: That cookie was making me soooooo hot *Drags Uke off to the bedroom*

i see no reason in them. i usually read yaoi for the fluffy-ness and to make me feel better.
not to feel worse by feeling bad for the uke.
-though i don't mind seme-rape for some reason-
i also really don't like two masculine men paired up for some reason. nor them both being dominant.
lol wierd i know. XD
for some reason, i don't like ukes who try to be the seme. i donno, i'm just more used to the submissive, innocent uke.
(boring, i know.)
and i don't like semes who are more like wife-beaters and don't truly love their uke. like they abuse and rape them instead.
and really kinky stuff like whips and vibrators. oh dear god.
i can only stand blindfolds and bondage, but that's it. it feels wierd to know your everyday house items can be used for sex. O.o
and somewhat of bashings. nowadays, i see most female characters as being really boring and useless.
so there's really no point in needing a yaoi-sheild or anything.

Okay First thing: A Overly Submissive Uke. It's like dude...where's your fighting spirit?? >.>
Two: Two masculine guys. One, which one would be the Uke? gonk and two....all the creepy man meat O.O *shudders*..it's just a no-no for me..
Three:I can stand this some times...but when a seme shoves an object into the uke's *cough*..well ya' know. There are certain things that shouldn't go inside your body *cough* corn *cough* but yeahhh >.>
But Yeah! Overall I don't have much problems with Yaoi : D lol

Good topic~
1) When Ukes are SO girly they can be mistaken for girls. (ie. cries the whole time, whines, over dramatic, bitchy)
(honestly while watching a yaoi vid all i could think through the whole thing was 'I wanted to get AWAY from annoying girl bitches..' It almost ruined it until the sex scene it made it a bit better)
2) Semes that act like complete assholes through the hole thing until the very end where they're the complete opposit.
(Its okay if they at least hint that they can be nice, and even end up beig a nice person in the end, but I HATE when they completely switch roles)
3) Rape scenes, there okay but sometimes the're taken too far.
4) Having a REALLY big age difference.
(I mean come on, seriously who wants to see a 12year old with a 20+ year old? Maybe within a 5 years difference its ok for that age but... stare )
5) SEX, SEX, SEX and more SEX
(Really? does yaoi have to be all sex within a 24-48 hour time? at least have them get to know eachother or something Have at least a small PLOT )
6) Trust after rape
(Partly #3 but also, WTF? why would a UKE trust the raper right after what he went through)
7) Automaticly hating the female character.
(I hate female characters in Yaoi but only some and not always right away. But when you have a Uke or Seme hating a female right away without any proof that she's gonna do anything, IF she does anthing...its just annoying)
8 ) THE SAME DAMN THING
(Pretty much what gets me some times is watching one Yaoi then when watching the next it realize it pretty much the SAME thing only with a different place/characters and such.
Thats it for my long list mrgreen
its true they bug me but i ignore them half the time.

Though the older they get, the more "acceptable" the age gap becomes. 12/20+ bothers me too, but an age gap of 30/40-45-even 50, not so much. Also, #5 on your list. gonk You explain it perfectly.

Seijaku_Ishida 1) Rape in which afterwards, the character has no mental trauma. Non-con, I can stand, but even if...nay, ESPECIALLY if a character enjoys it...there will be emotional damage done. 2) Girly ukes. I'm actually starting to dislike the whole seme/uke thing as a whole. Ukes are VERY often very feminine and are often doing 'womanly' things. 3) Self-lubricating ukes. 'nuff said. I have a few more, but those are the ones that get on my nerves the most. Same here...I also hate bad drawings and too many word bubbles.

I can't really say I have a peeve yet. I'd guess the only thing that annoys me is when a female character tries to seduce an obviously gay guy.

I hate it when the main character is weak and falls in love too easily. I prefer one where the main character is originally straight and then slowly falls in love with the other character

They need to come up with something new, it was OK the first 4434373 I saw it but its starting to get a bit old.
But I'd say the worst part is one is like out of college and the other is a freshmen in high school, or something like that...

I have never understood why in Shounen-Ai anime the main characters have to have pointy chins and hugely thick necks! This is usually the seme, but not always. I don't see how anyone, boy or girl, could find a dagger chin and water pipe neck attractive!
