"I guess I could finish it....It was some Nira found for me." he said rubbing the back of his head. "It's not that it ain't satisfyin......I mean, as long as it's fresh....I can't eat cooked stuff like tha rest a ya. And I'm not sure bout Nira."

Xena tilted her head. "Nira? You mean that crazy zombie child that seems psychic?" She frowned a bit for a moment. She had been unsure about the other sentient zombies that live in the graveyard, mainly due to the concern if they share Finley's view of the world. Nira was a strange one, but like with the others, she was unsure about her as well. "You do eat jerky, and that's basically dehydrated meat. So maybe we can make some jerky for you in case you needed something to snack on without having to hunt for a while." She then narrowed her eyes. "Wait, you brought Nira here too?"

"Yeah. I suppose we could do that." he then saw her narrow her eyes. "Yeah. Why?"

@Zoey: Donnie blushed, but smiled as she nuzzled her nose against his. "Yeah well, I'm sure it's better than anything we could find in New York on a good day. Don't worry about the sides, hopefully we can fix that very soon. What you have here looks great."

"Are you certain it's even a good idea for her to be here, let alone even trust her? Leo's still skeptical about your hunger as it is, and bringing a zombie from the graveyard isn't going to ease his suspicions. Yumi's an exception because she's kin. Nira is not." She asked with a frown. "Don't tell me you brought her all because she's a fellow zombie....Finley already made it clear that he hates the living, and we're just food in his eyes. It's no surprise to me if his fellow zombies share that viewpoint...Yeah, Nira's weird, but I don't know if I can trust her, psychic or not. I don't know if I can trust any of the other zombies from there..."

"I was a zombie from tha graveyard too, ya know...." he said looking away from her. "I know I can trust er. She protected Zoey. She coulda ate her while I wasn't there, but she didn't. She even chased other zombies away from us. I do trust er. She don't hurt no one that don't deserve it. Like I was doin." he said. "Do...you not trust me either? Cause a tha other mornin?"

@Zoey: "Will do." Donnie said. He went up the the attic first to let Leo, Mikey, and Yumi know there was food ready, then went back down to the second floor and knocked on Splinter's door, letting him know as well. Donnie then went to Raph and Xena's room. He could hear that they were having a discussion and wasn't sure if he needed to step in and tell them food was ready, or if he needed to let them be for a bit. Standing there debating, he finally knocked on the door. "Foods ready!" he called.

She frowned as Raph looked away from her. "How can you be certain that she only did those things so you wouldn't be upset with her? Your taste in zombie friends is a bit questionable...Finley didn't exactly make a good impression with me. Are you even certain that Nira doesn't share the same viewpoint as him? That the living are just 'meatbags' or 'fleshies' to be zombie chow?" She said as she too looked away. "You saw in Finley's eyes how he reacted whenever he saw me. He was ready to devour me unless you kept me hidden from his sight...in fact, I had to wear your trenchcoat everytime we go out just to hide my scent. Same with the other zombies..." She murmured before her eyes widen upon hearing his question. "I trust you, Raph. I really do...I grew up with the turtles back home so I know I can trust you...even when we first met. It's just that you call those zombies your friends, yet none of them had even lifted a finger to help you whenever you needed it the most. You're the one that keeps paying the price over them....I am worried about another scenario like that morning...especially now we got Zoey in the picture. We have yet to work out with fixing your hunger...and you made a risky move by bringing Nira here too. Like I said, Leo's still skeptical over your hunger. You know Nira's presence isn't goi-" It was then she heard the knock on the door. It was Donnie letting them know that food was ready. "Coming!" She called back to him before looking back at Raph. "Want to join them?"

Zoey hugged Splinter and smiled back at him. Also shooting a smile towards Mikey. "Thank you. Both of you. And I'm really glad to be home." She beamed, returning to her task of making that lemonade ice tea. Admittedly, to be safe, she had boiled the water first and added ice cubes to the pitcher before putting it into the fridge. "Give the ice tea at hour or so and it should be chilled enough to drink!"

@Raph: If the window overlooked the front lawn, he would see Nira just walking about. Seeming to walk a perimeter along the tree line before it seemed like she had let out some kind of sigh (perhaps she felt a little restless or was bored) before just letting herself fall onto her back. Head tilted to the could stare up at the stars. And that's all she was doing. Staring up at the stars. Not hurting anything or anyone. Not being a bother or causing trouble. Nope. She was currently occupied with staring up at the stars. Something that was harder to see in the city because of all the lights.

He didn't watch her go since he was looking out the window. He saw Nira and was relieved she was behaving herself. She seemed like maybe she was bored or watching the stars so he'd leave her to it. No reason to pull her into one of his more brooding moments. He did open the bedroom window and made his way up to the roof where he sat down and took and un-needed breath through his nose and exhaled it carefully through his mouth. He then looked up at the stars as well as he got lost in his own thoughts.

@Zoey: Splinter smiled and hugged her back. "That sounds wonderful. I will have some once it is ready." he said with a nod.

"Looks good, Zoey. I see you can still cook up something with little to nothing." Leo said as he walked over to sit at the table along with Mikey and Donnie.

Xena sighed softly as she came downstairs. It didn't feel right that Raph wouldn't come down to join up with his family, even if he couldn't eat the cooked fish. She even wondered why he even brought another zombie to their new home, knowing about Leo's skepticism with Raph's hunger. Did he really need to babysit a zombie like Nira? In fact, did he really need to babysit the other zombies all because he owed Finley? She saw the others were already conversing so she went and sat at the table.

It wasn't long before Mikey, Leo, Splinter, and Yumi joined her and Donnie downstairs at the table.

"This all looks very good, My Dear. Also, welcome home. It is good to see you." Splinter said with a smile.

"Yeah, Zoey! Looks great!" Mikey exclaimed.

@Xena: "Nah.....gonna stay up here. You go ahead. Ya need ta eat." Raph said as he went to go look out the window.

She frowned a bit before she nodded and headed downstairs to join the others.

He didn't watch her go since he was looking out the window. He saw Nira and was relieved she was behaving herself. She seemed like maybe she was bored or watching the stars so he'd leave her to it. No reason to pull her into one of his more brooding moments. He did open the bedroom window and made his way up to the roof where he sat down and took and un-needed breath through his nose and exhaled it carefully through his mouth. He then looked up at the stars as well as he got lost in his own thoughts.

@Zoey: Splinter smiled and hugged her back. "That sounds wonderful. I will have some once it is ready." he said with a nod.

"Looks good, Zoey. I see you can still cook up something with little to nothing." Leo said as he walked over to sit at the table along with Mikey and Donnie.

Xena sighed softly as she came downstairs. It didn't feel right that Raph wouldn't come down to join up with his family, even if he couldn't eat the cooked fish. She even wondered why he even brought another zombie to their new home, knowing about Leo's skepticism with Raph's hunger. Did he really need to babysit a zombie like Nira? In fact, did he really need to babysit the other zombies all because he owed Finley? She saw the others were already conversing so she went and sat at the table.

Yumi was sitting at the table, smiling happily, then saw her Mom and waved. "Hey, Mom!"

@Zoey: "Gladly!" Mikey said filling up a plate.

The others at the table fixed their own plates before quietly sitting and eating.

Xena smiled a little when Yumi waved to her. "You been behaving yourself?"

Like Donnie, Zoey choked on her drink and coughed a few times. Tapping at her chest to help herself get her breathe back. Her face turning red as Mikey goaded her. "Mikey!!" Zoey shrieks, shooting him a glare at she coughed again and cleared her throat with a groan before looking over to Yumi. "Uuh...Maybe. Someday. Future advice, Yumi. That kinda big step in life ain't something you should ever rush into." She said gently. "Before you take that step, you need to be sure that you really love that person. And that kind of love is special. Different. You'll know you have it when that person makes your heart race whenever they walk into the room. How your heart aches when they're gone that it feels like its hard to take a breath. Their hugs will relax your whole body and you'll feel safe and perfected. Like there's nothin' in the world that can touch you long as you are in their arms." Zoey said dreamily, shooting Donnie a look before quickly looking away and laughing embarrassed. "Sorry. That was a little romantic......and probably a little less realistic."
