"This forest has seen poachers and monster hunters searching for prey. I find myself needing to question a human entering the forest, even more with an automaton weapon. If you're seeking to hunt for monsters here, then I have no choice but to convince you otherwise, with words," Kaxfaldir said, "or with force" he added as his fists clenched.
"You still haven't answered my questions. Who are you, and where do you come from?" he asked yet again.

Petra would stiffen at the monsters words. If there were indeed monster hunters about in this forest so close to the city then that would mean trouble indeed. Nonetheless this monster was just trying to defend the forest so she decided to answer him.
"I...am...Petra...and..I am...only...human...in...appearance." Petra would lower hood to show her dragon-like ears and let the tip of her tail slip out from underneath her dress. "Zelekhut...is...his...own...person...as well. We..are...simply...passing..through. You...should not...judge...all humans...as...humans...have...judged...us."
Seeing the girl lowering her hood and revealing her draco-reptilian features, Kaxfaldir loosen up. "If you're the same as I am, you should have mentioned it sooner," he sighed, a note of relief in his words.
With the introduction, Kaxfaldir believed he needed to reply in kind. "My name's Kaxfaldir, member of the Reformed Monster Society," he introduced himself. "My bad, I'm still new to the society, and still has trouble dealing with.....humans," he said, a hint of distrust in his voice. "You find them hunting your kind, you don't forgive them that easily, personal experience," he commented.
"So, Petra and Tin-man, where are you going?" he asked. "Maybe I can escort you, just in case."
In days past; the cute dragon girl would make an equally cute slave, the steal horsey would provide metal for a blacksmith, and the beastie would make a good trophy. A grand and profitable hunt indeed, Jack thought as he crossed paths with the monsters; but alas currently, the enchanting melody had the 'aasimar's' attention. And besides he promised... a promise he could easily break.
With a half-hearted wave to the monster, sliding his other hand over the pummel of his dagger, Jack continued to search for the player of the song.
This isn't a time or place for that kind fight...
Current form Aasimar (rolling hp, may roll listen check with next post... deepening on the response he gets)

As the young man emerged from the forest into their clearing Petra would quickly hide her tail and put up her hood again to hide her ears. She was not sure if she did it quick enough to avoid notice. She knew she was not suppose to be afraid of who she was anymore but it was hard to fight old instincts. She would awkwardly wave back to the man as he went by before returning her attention to Kaxfaldir. "Shall...we continue..to...Anitiv."

Even cuter when she shows fear... He thought before laughing as he ventured deeper into the woods.
Not soon after, he found the source of music, a lovely woman in white.
"Ah, a lass, so beautiful and fair; I should have known. For who else could play such an enchanting melody than one who is equally so." Jack spoke, attempting to mimic a bard in poetic verse, as he approached the woman in white. "Though this heart is captured by your beauty and song, this head wonders; why does thou play where beasts and worse roam?

Hearing the girl mentioning that she's part of the society as well made him feel stupid. "Well why didn't you say that you're from the society on the get go then?" Kaxfaldir said with a laugh. "From the looks of it, you guys have just finished your oath-swearing, no?" he asked.
"Yeah, but I'm still curious, who would be playing music in the middle of nowhere," he pointed out.
