tab Overview: The standard and most common race that inhabits the world, Humans were once wiped from the face of the planet by a curse that's source was never discovered. However, they have begun to reappear, emerging from their crystalline slumber and fighting to survive in a world they no longer know. With the major Cataclysm about to pass the gates of Creation will be opened, allowing members to make human characters from any of the Fractal Worlds in creation. Meaning, they can be from anywhere.
tab Physical Description: An adult Human typically stands anywhere from 5'0" to about 6'2", with females on the shorter end and males on the taller. It's not unusual to see Humans standing at heights outside of this range though, but this is the average. A fit Human adult could weigh 110-150 lbs (female) to 140-190 (male), but, again, weight can vary greatly. Skin tone can be a variety of light beige, brown, and olive depending on ethnicity and where they hail from. Eyes are a range of grays, blues, greens, and browns with hair colors mostly natural shades of blonde, brown, reds, and blacks. Older Humans may also have gray hair. Other color varieties and combinations can be seen, though, with the introduction of Evos and bloodlines to the race.
tab Human children start to mature around the ages 9-12, in which they begin growing to their adult heights, and reach full maturity anywhere from 15-18, typically. Likewise, Humans continuously age throughout their lives, which on average last 70-90 years.
tab Native: Unlike other races, Humans have no particular location that they inhabit. Being the predominant species in the world, they can be found just about everywhere.
tab History: If from the current world and not one of the Fractal Worlds, please see the Era's page of the world information. Otherwise, the history of the Human Race would be of the world the character comes from.
tab Personality Traits: Prone to constant desire to grow and a stubborn streak a mile wide, Humans vary from individual to individual, leaving it impossible to say what is considered "normal".
tab Culture: Shattered Past allows you to be from nearly any world, any time, with the limitation that any powers/items/etc that come from that other world converts into materials that can be found in this one. Otherwise, the culture of the human character can be whatever you desire, from real world to other fictional realms.

Physical Description: Relatively Small and Diminuitive, Kyrian stands at 5’2” and weighs a whoppings 83 pounds. After living a life where he was confined to a bed or wheelchair, there really isn’t much to his person. A mess of mousy brown hair grazes the tops of his ears and just into his equally brown eyes. Kyrian has relatively fair, smooth skin, unmarred by the sun or other environmental hazards. There is a lower scar at his abdomen where a feeding tube was previously placed, in addition to surgeries previously performed on his feet and the lower spine.
Fears:
      • Claustrophobia: After being locked in a room for most of his life, Ky fears the inability move outside of small closed spaces.
      • Bones: Be it as it may, Ky can’t stand the sight of protruding bones from skin.
      • Sickness: After finally becoming healthy, Ky fears a relapse into the crumbling form of his former self. While it is unlikely, every cough or fever makes him feel as if his life is once again over.

Personality:

Ky has a slight lack of social graces. Being that his entire life was him going into surgeries, and cared for in a room while he sadly fell apart, he didn’t get many opportunities to genuinely interact with other people his age. He is on the most part though, reserved, shy, and respectful. Opting to help whenever necessary since being helped so much himself, he always wants to lend a helping hand. In fact, his largest weakness and strength may be his unending curiosity for new things in tandem with his innocence.

History:

Coughing, wheezing, crying, breaking.

Kyrian was 6 years old when his parents were informed that he had 10 years left to live. There was a genetic mutation, something that made his heart and muscles weaker until every movement would be unable to carried out. While the doctors said they could stave it off, eventually he would succumb to fate’s design. He lived on a time clock.

He now lived in a growing state of pain. The falls that were so common before as he chased his siblings were now met with stern words and gentle kisses. Mornings when he was unable to rise from the sea of plush pillows due to the pounding waves of pain created oceans of worry. The moments when he tried answering a problem for the fifth time only to get it wrong over and over.

He was falling apart. Breaking Down. Crumbling inwards like a castle made of sand.

Yet Ky wanted to live, he wanted to enjoy life like a normal kid could even amidst the world that was falling apart. He lived for the beat of the butterfly wings. Shaking the air with the beating of a thousand hues. He laughed at the cry of the hawk circling overhead, the feel of warm spring grass under his toes. What he would give to run freely in the world, to move, to ing, to dance until he burned up even in the freezing cold. Instead he was trapped in four cold oak walls, chained to a chair with wheels, and a pump in his throat.

It was hard, but it was worth it.

Then the crystallization began, swallowing him up piece by piece. He would cry at this fate, but at least this death would be a quicker one than that which he was destined to have. Instead he longed for all he missed. He sobbed for everything he had never been able to grasp. The life of medicine and healing, solitude and loneliness, what he would trade for an ounce of freedom.

So as Ky fell prey to the crystals-like so many others before him-he passed with a prayer on his lips. A prayer that one day he would be able to walk this world with his own feet, see the world with his own eyes, and revel in all the wonders this world could offer if only for a moment.

Personal Attributes:
      • Infinite Curiosity: Ky’s ability to pick apart abilities he sees used is astounding. However, his ability to replicate them is somewhat more limited. Instead of gaining three [03] slots to copy spells with the ‘Duplication’ evo, Ky instead only gets two [02] slots to permanently copy jutsu. Instead, he also gets one [01] slot that may temporarily copy one spell per battle. This temporary spell may be used freely during that battle, but is unable to be used after the battle. If used outside of battle, Ky is able to utilize the jutsu for three [03] posts.
      • The Crystal’s Blessing: While within the crystal, Kyrian seems to have attuned to it somewhat to the point where he can now utilize crystal based techniques. Gain access to the [Adamantborn] splicer evolution, equivalent to [03] evolution points.
      • More Than I Once Was: Kyrian gains three [03] additional evolution points.

Race: Undead (Parasitic Species)
Physical Description: Physically, he appears as the image to the right. He is 5'6", with a total weight of 113 lbs. He is slight, and if anyone where to look under his robes there would be a gaping wound where his heart should be, and he is missing the entirety of his lower jaw. Speaking is done through the threads that form his parasitic life.
Fears: Being the metaphorical "boogeyman" of my childhood home did little in the way of fostering fears for me. However, there are still fears I possess, closely, to my heart. Fear of death, as all men do, is a particular fear for me, for I see any pursuit, any action taken to assure survival as justified by the world. I will sacrifice all to avoid it. I fear loss. Not of someone close, but of power, for without it I am never truly free. I fear that which walks in death, in the Echoes, for it is that which gives me life and has hold of my spirit. But unlike others, I do not act with fear for this, but rage. Fury for the fear it cast unto me, and were I faced with it it would be to end the existence of any who would dare use it against me. The ends of time and creation would not save them from my wrath. The weakest of my fears, no less important, is a goodhearted man, for the greatest of crimes and evil comes from those who believe it necessary for the greater good.
Personality: Fear is the mind killer, and with it I will rule this world. My knowledge, my intellect, puts me as a breed above the common rabble that inhabit it. I follow a creed, a creed laid forth by my predecessor, that all men are beings of chaos and destruction. Free will is but a figment of their imagination, for all must bow to Fate, but in that imagination they will destroy and wreak havoc where it isn't needed. I will end this chaos, and bring it under the heel of law, so that Fate may continue its proper course. To that end I have established ruled for myself, and to those who follow me:

History:You wish to know my story? You'll be here a while, creature, for I have lived a long life. I am off the first people, the Genshi, those who love the world with the Mother and Father. I once believed in such tales, and overall my time was pointless before the third Era began. Serving in a world that hated my kind for our abilities served it's supposed and paved the way for the future. My people are long lived, for we age slower than any other, and so I was "young" by our standards the day I found the accursed portal within the confines of a city alley.
tab The day I entered was no different than any other during the Era of Attention. Wars were still being fought, fingers pointing every which way to find someone to blame for the Plague. Stupid, that name. No one dared name it, perhaps out of fear of making it too real. But stepping into that alley to cut around a group of protesters, I came face to face with a...creature. In my times with the Fade, I've never seen its like before, nor since. But this creature's body was black, with white voids where eyes were meant to be. I remember vividly the portal behind it, the mass of shadows that convulsed in agony, and the horrors within it.
tab I'll save you the details of the pain, the torment that followed. It took me into what it called the Echoes, what all others know as Hell. It's worse, so much worse, than anyone had ever dared imagined. There it implanted something inside of me, tearing out my organs, my muscles, my bones while still I lived and placed a parasite in their place. A parasite that replaced all but my brain and eyes, though why those I'll never know. The creature told me this would be an experiment, to see how long I'd live. Told me what would happen when I failed.
tab And that's something I'll forever avoid.
tab I suppose the next biggest step was becoming the Mizukage, the last ever known. I replaced the seventh, becoming the eighth, and I wanted the most powerful defenses the world have ever known. I delved into forbidden lore, studying the ways of the Mad Carney, learning all he had hoped to create. And that's when I learned. I learned of Fate, Truth, and the will of man. I learned, and knew what I must have then: freedom. And for the ultimate freedom from a fate I will never accept as Fate's design. In the search for power, my last memory was of finding the personal journal of Jack Harren Snipe, buried in a tomb where the Swords of the Mist had likewise been hidden. I knew then that if I had his power, I would be truly free. But I made a mistake, and opened the book without checking for the traps it surely tab And that was the end of an era, of a nation. But this time? This time I will claim the power I need to destroy that creature, and I will rule this world, whether from the shadows or from a throne. It is my destiny, my Fate, and one none shall be able to resist.
Personal Attributes:
      Wrath of the Echoes → Soul torn from his body, a parasite placed within his hollowed out husk, Hesrik became the host of something unspeakable. Instead of fighting it, as perhaps he should have, he embraced the power they gave, and the eternity they promised. However, the downside was that the parasite feeds upon his vitality, and so the fewer hearts he has, less than four [4], his Power and Agility will be reduced by one [1] point, and physical attacks that do not utilize his tendrils take one half [1/2] a rank more of energy to use. In exchange, when four [4] or more hearts are utilized, his body undergoes a change and becomes what he was always meant to be. His Mana and Power stats increase by two [2], and all jutsu he casts are reduced one [1] rank in cost. If at any time he drops below that threshold he will revert to his present self, and the bonuses reduced. At least one [1] of these hearts must be from an RPC for it to truly count.
      Genetic Convert: Due to a history of working with the human genome and constructing new creations from it Hesrik has also worked on himself. This allows his genetics to be altered further than normal for his kind, as such granting him an additional three [3] Evolutionary Trait Points for use.
      Born of the Elements: A naturalist he may be, Hesrik was born to be something slightly more. The elements themselves favor him in many ways, as fire leans towards him, shadows are starker in appearance near him, so on and so forth. This has a dual statistical value. Firstly, at his choice he can either increase or decrease the amount of energy matter needed to cast his spell my 50%, though this has no effect upon the ranks of the spell he cast. The second is that the elements seem to have a form of life near him, gaining a partial sentience that allows them to whisper knowledge to him at times. To do this they gain a voice, and memory from one [1] day per Experience Rank Hesrik possesses. This knowledge must be approved by the Event Coordination staff, and can range from specific to vague with personality characteristics of elements playing a large part in how they answer.

• Arcanist ► Taste of Nature - Being a Naturalist means being able to manipulate the foundation of all spells: mana. By following that to its basic roots one can establish a connection with that mana that fuels the existence of all in creation and pull nourishment from it. With this Discipline the Arcanist may "devour" through either physical or magical means an elemental source and restore their own mana or stamina reserves. The amount returned requires burning half of what can be manipulated by the appropriate rank, such as gaining back five [5] mana by devouring half of what an E - ranked Ruler spell would control. While there is no specific limit to this effect is cannot put one beyond seventy five percent [75] of their max Resource pools.
• Medium ► Become As One - Normally the Ravager can only take parts of the origin of their devouring and assume it. With this discpline the Ravager is able to digest a part of the being they desire and instead completely become that form. To accomplish this the Ravager is granted two [2] free Custom abilities that deal with this transformation, as becoming them physically doesn't necessarily grant all the benefits of that form.
• Arcanist ► The summoned creature is a quadrapedal monstrosity, with a figure cracked and scarred by fire in stone. Born of the fire element it resemble a great sabertoothed tiger, it has the following characteristics:
        * Power [4] - 6 Feet at Shoulder in Size, Gains D - ranked Titan Stage Slots
        * Agility [3] - Attains two sets of limbs.
        * Intelligence [2] - On par with a 7-year-old human
        * Mana [5] - 250 Energy [200 Stamina, 100 Mana] and 10 Spell Slots [7 Arcanist and 3 Illusionst]

      Materialization: The color of my mana is a harrowing red, a color that tickles at the base instincts of all living things that I am a danger. My mana is a wraith like mist that rises from me as I concentrate, the pure, raw energy of my spirit untethered by mortal commands. To those who may see the Fades, my mana is the form of the worst of abominations, a wraith that defies description, for it is the manifestation of that which they fear most.

    • Blindsight [2] → When vision is impaired by any means, including simply closing one's eyes, the character can "see" in monochrome in all directions up to one hundred [100] meters per Experience Rank. This is an automatic process that sees through any non-living material up to one [1] meter thick. This effect can be activated at any time without blockage by paying five [5] Mana or Stamina, at which time the eyes' colors reverse. This may be maintained as long as desired.
    • Divine Gaze [2] → The eyes of the character become a dark, burgundy red that can, when emotional, glow similarly to a nebule. Living creatures can be seen with their mana's color flickering deep within them, and suffusing their flesh. In effect, it allows one to witness the soul of the individual, allowing them to perceive life unless a Corruption or Illusory effect is in place. This makes any spells that attempt to disguise life presence one [1] rank less in effect.
    • Mana Font [2] → Born with a natural font of mana within you, begin with a passive bonus that increases all mana regeneration by one [1] step. If regeneration is normally impossible then gain a passive regeneration of fifteen [1] mana per post. tab Overview: The standard and most common race that inhabits the world, Humans were once wiped from the face of the planet by a curse that's source was never discovered. However, they have begun to reappear, emerging from their crystalline slumber and fighting to survive in a world they no longer know. With the major Cataclysm about to pass the gates of Creation will be opened, allowing members to make human characters from any of the Fractal Worlds in creation. Meaning, they can be from anywhere.
tab Physical Description: An adult Human typically stands anywhere from 5'0" to about 6'2", with females on the shorter end and males on the taller. It's not unusual to see Humans standing at heights outside of this range though, but this is the average. A fit Human adult could weigh 110-150 lbs (female) to 140-190 (male), but, again, weight can vary greatly. Skin tone can be a variety of light beige, brown, and olive depending on ethnicity and where they hail from. Eyes are a range of grays, blues, greens, and browns with hair colors mostly natural shades of blonde, brown, reds, and blacks. Older Humans may also have gray hair. Other color varieties and combinations can be seen, though, with the introduction of Evos and bloodlines to the race.
tab Human children start to mature around the ages 9-12, in which they begin growing to their adult heights, and reach full maturity anywhere from 15-18, typically. Likewise, Humans continuously age throughout their lives, which on average last 70-90 years.
tab Native: Unlike other races, Humans have no particular location that they inhabit. Being the predominant species in the world, they can be found just about everywhere.

Physical Description: Relatively Small and Diminuitive, Kyrian stands at 5’2” and weighs a whoppings 83 pounds. After living a life where he was confined to a bed or wheelchair, there really isn’t much to his person. Physically he looks similar to the image on the right Kyrian has relatively fair, smooth skin, unmarred by the sun or other environmental hazards. There is a lower scar at his abdomen where a feeding tube was previously placed, in addition to surgeries previously performed on his feet and the lower spine.
Fears:
      • Claustrophobia: After being locked in a room for most of his life, Ky fears the inability move outside of small closed spaces.
      • Bones: Be it as it may, Ky can’t stand the sight of protruding bones from skin.
      • Sickness: After finally becoming healthy, Ky fears a relapse into the crumbling form of his former self. While it is unlikely, every cough or fever makes him feel as if his life is once again over.

Personality:

Ky has a slight lack of social graces. Being that his entire life was him going into surgeries, and cared for in a room while he sadly fell apart, he didn’t get many opportunities to genuinely interact with other people his age. He is on the most part though, reserved, shy, and respectful. Opting to help whenever necessary since being helped so much himself, he always wants to lend a helping hand. In fact, his largest weakness and strength may be his unending curiosity for new things in tandem with his innocence.

History:

Coughing, wheezing, crying, breaking.

Kyrian was 6 years old when his parents were informed that he had 10 years left to live. There was a genetic mutation, something that made his heart and muscles weaker until every movement would be unable to carried out. While the doctors said they could stave it off, eventually he would succumb to fate’s design. He lived on a time clock.

He now lived in a growing state of pain. The falls that were so common before as he chased his siblings were now met with stern words and gentle kisses. Mornings when he was unable to rise from the sea of plush pillows due to the pounding waves of pain created oceans of worry. The moments when he tried answering a problem for the fifth time only to get it wrong over and over.

He was falling apart. Breaking Down. Crumbling inwards like a castle made of sand.

Yet Ky wanted to live, he wanted to enjoy life like a normal kid could even amidst the world that was falling apart. He lived for the beat of the butterfly wings. Shaking the air with the beating of a thousand hues. He laughed at the cry of the hawk circling overhead, the feel of warm spring grass under his toes. What he would give to run freely in the world, to move, to ing, to dance until he burned up even in the freezing cold. Instead he was trapped in four cold oak walls, chained to a chair with wheels, and a pump in his throat.

It was hard, but it was worth it.

Then the crystallization began, swallowing him up piece by piece. He would cry at this fate, but at least this death would be a quicker one than that which he was destined to have. Instead he longed for all he missed. He sobbed for everything he had never been able to grasp. The life of medicine and healing, solitude and loneliness, what he would trade for an ounce of freedom.

So as Ky fell prey to the crystals-like so many others before him-he passed with a prayer on his lips. A prayer that one day he would be able to walk this world with his own feet, see the world with his own eyes, and revel in all the wonders this world could offer if only for a moment.

Personal Attributes:
      • Infinite Curiosity: Ky’s ability to pick apart abilities he sees used is astounding. However, his ability to replicate them is somewhat more limited. Instead of gaining three [03] slots to copy spells with the ‘Duplication’ evo, Ky instead only gets two [02] slots to permanently copy jutsu. Instead, he also gets one [01] slot that may temporarily copy one spell per battle. This temporary spell may be used freely during that battle, but is unable to be used after the battle. If used outside of battle, Ky is able to utilize the jutsu for three [03] posts.
      • The Crystal’s Blessing: While within the crystal, Kyrian seems to have attuned to it somewhat to the point where he can now utilize crystal based techniques. Gain access to the [Adamantborn] splicer evolution, equivalent to [03] evolution points.
      • More Than I Once Was: Kyrian gains three [03] additional evolution points.

      What am I wearing...? :: I like to keep my outfits simple. Nothing too fancy that would draw attention but nothing too plain that would draw equal attention. A nice middle ground must be met in all aspects of life. I wear a dark-grey almost black jacket, with a simple white dress shirt underneath it. The jacket itself is made out of a nice protective leather with various small pockets for storing my drugs and... tools. Matching with this jacket is a similarly gray miniskirt that is held up by a purple belt. This skirt is just fabric, nothing as thick as leather. Bellow the skirt is long dark purple stockings. Small slits in the fabric run down the front of these stockings I was told it would give me a punk aesthetic. For shoes I have a pair of purple Mary Janes. I also wear purple gloves each with a single white stripe in the middle. The one thing I am rarely without would have to be my face mask. A delicacy crafted purple mask decorated with silver studs. The reason for this accessory is the braces that are embedded into my teeth thanks to the incident. And of course my dedicates! But there is no need to be talking about those!

Fears:
tab ◇ Her clan. Not the Hojo in general, but her specific clan within the hierarchy. She remembers ever single one of their faces to this day. They are the reason she is the way she is. Though they may be long dead the slightest thought of them returning to continue their cruel antics sends her on edge.

tab **Nina is far from an ordinary person, she is far from being normal even! Hell she isn't even sane! As a result of extreme bullying as a child and early teen Nina was unable to cope with the mounting stress. Letting it bottle up more and more, until one day the glass just... cracked letting all those bottled up emotions seep through her. She's a psychopath. This moment is what made her quick to switching between emotions. One moment she could be timidly before doing a 180 and turning into a violent sadist wanting only to cause other people suffering. Her natural state however would likely just be timidly plain. She tends to be rather recluse. Never really settling down into a social circle, making a barren world perfect for her frail mind. Its when she does settle down into an emotion that her extreme personally rears its ugly head. When shes happy shes almost obsessively clingy, doing everything she can to force this pleasant rare emotion onto the people around her, this had often been through the use of drugs. People that she wanted to experience bliss would find their drinks laced whit a concoction of her own, well they wouldn't really find it. She sees this act of drugging people as a way of showing her friendship. As no one but the people she cares for deserve her best creations.

tab When shes sad its plain to see. Its almost comical how down she manages to get. her eyes almost leaking a constant stream of tears while her shoulders remain visibly slumped in defeat. She avoids others because in this state she has a wrapped perception of others faces. Where one might be giving a concerned look of support she will only see a disgusted look of hatred at her existence. This is a state she has a habit of bouncing back quickly from. That void of depression a rare state to find her in. Her anger comes in the form of an extreme jealousy. She feels infinity slighted by whoever had triggered this mood. NO matter how small the matter was in this warped perception it will feel like a personal attack on her as a person. This makes her vicious when her inevitable retaliation happens. She turns into a cold sadistic avatar of revenge. A Schadenfreude to the core. As the suffering of her target is the only thing that can make the anger go away. This is the fraction of her personality that leads her to do unspeakable acts. As an example a woman she perceived as prettier than Nina in the girls wrapped mind ended up with hung up by her own entrails in town square, with not a single drop of blood to be found bellow her. Just for happening to be more attractive when Nina was having an episode.

tab These wild mood swings are why Nina can never be a 'good' person. She has lived in this broken state for the majority of her inhumanly long life span, not even love could stave off her episodes. As she found when she became a widow of her own creation. When she falls in love she falls extremely hard. Her entire life revolves around this perfect being until they end up dying. She becomes obsessive, making anyone who tried to capture her loves attention 'disappear'. She puts them up on a pedestal of perfect they could never hope to live up to. Because humans aren't perfect. One day said target will do something that triggers Nina to have a flicker of negativity. This small inconsequential flicker will spread like a wild fire until Nina is left all alone again. She herself doesn't see anything wrong with her actions, in her mind everything she does is the correct degree of action to be taking. Of course you would drug your friends just because you feel good, they need to be as happy and giddy as you or your failing as a friend! Of course you lover needed to have their teeth torn out to show that they shouldn't have eaten someone else's cookies rather than yours. These are obvious facts in her mind.

Personal Attributes:
      ◇ Hojo Lineage: Due to being a result of selective breeding Nina was able to inherit a sliver of of her Hojo father's abilities. Just a aspect that allowed her to blend in with her Hojo relatives until they were no longer needed. Nina was born with the ability to convert the oxygen in water into a breathable substance. This allowed her to train her body to move with the same degree of freedom in the water as on land. Her hair also has the odd effect of moving like the tentacles of a Hojo, but this has no applicable feature.
      ◇ Goblin Shark: The lower her BP count the stronger she becomes. Her brain focusing only on the needed functions to let her consume more of the nectar of life. Like a shark driven into a primal frenzy at the scent of fresh blood filling the water, Nina too is driven into a blood frenzy. While bellow 35% Max BP her Strength and Agility are treated as one rank higher as long as there is blood within a 45 yard radius of her. The range of this trigger is greatly increased while she and the prey are submerged in water. It increases up to 100 yards. This blood must be freshly spilt or leaking. While in this state her eyes will be almost completely pink, only small pinholes of black prove her eyes to be functioning.
      ◇ Til Death do us Part: Nina's broken personality has a drastic change in nature once shes tasted blood. It becomes focused, unwavering, and resolute. Still not sane in the least, but a step closer. Once the taste of a foes blood has graced her tongue her fleeting emotions become as dangerous obsession. This faux love warps her perception allowing her body to push beyond its limits while fighting the target of her, all True Ancestor techniques are boosted as [1] ranks in effectiveness and damage while being afflicted to the target and the target alone.This incurs a physical change while in effect: Her sharp teeth grow more shark like like tiny rows of razor blades, and her muscles cord tightly in anticipation of the kill. These effects wear off when the target has either fled the area, died, or if Nina looses consciousness.
      ◇ Blood Waltz: She has always been the solitary sort choosing to be alone or only with the target of her affections. This way of going about life extended into her tendencies as a predator. She spends her nights of hunger going out of her way just to provide a one on one encounter with her prey. This is due to her obsessive tendencies wanting her prey and its love all to herself. During a one on one combat encounter all of Nina's physical based techniques, such as bukijutsu, will be treated as a [⅛] rank stronger. This effect immediately wears off the moment a third person enters the encounter whether ally or foe matters not and will remain ineffective until it returns to a one on one.
      ◇ Cuttlefish : Nina has many Hojo aspects that allow for her to blend in with her foster clan. The True Ancestor aspect of her heritage however gave her one key difference that allowed her to blend in anywhere... as long as it has water. Perhaps it was her predatorial blood giving her a way of picking off the masters of water without anyone being the wiser. While completely submerged in a body of water, artificial or natural, allows for the faux squid to activate a type of optical camouflage that turns her entire being invisible. This is only a visual change, she will still make sound and anyone with a fantastic sniffer could track her down. It has no resistance to being tracked via ninjutsu.
      ◇ Lover's Embrace: Nina has a rather unique connection to the essence all True Ancestor's feed on. To her scrambled mess of a mind she perceives the act of Feeding on humans as a more intimate experience. Rather then draining people as sustenance she feeds as a way of greedily taking the self of a person. She is an emotion druggy in more then one sense of the word. This warped feeding mentality corrupts Kyūji [Feeding] and empowers it. When using C-S rank feeding not only does the target get weakened but the missing strength will find itself flowing through the Nina's body. The stat boost gained is equal to the stat ranks lost by the victim and will last for [10] posts. This has a slight side effect of causing the faux Hojo to take on personality quirks of the victim as well whether this is because of feeding or because of the girls mind is unknown.

        Grimoire: The Fae gains access to a Grimoire. These are powerful, personal items, usually in the form or a book, manuscript, or scroll that contains the Fae's most powerful abilities. These abilities may only be cast while the Fae is in direct possession of their Grimoire. Possession of the Grimoire allows the Fae to create a signature spell at each body rank (ie one at E, one at D, etc) that only the Fae can utilize. These abilities will generally be stronger than most other customs or may possess gimmicks that would otherwise be flatly denied. The danger of reliance on the Grimoire is that it can easily be destroyed by an enemy attack that is equal to the wielder's body rank. Once destroyed, the Grimoire cannot be recreated easily. The Fae must regather the necessary materials to recreate the Grimoire and can potentially lose access to all of the previous spells contained in their old Grimoire. Recreation of the Grimoire requires a custom mission of equal body rank to the creator. A Grimoire consumes one of your custom item slots permanently.
        Markings of Power: The Fae gains the ability to 'enchant' items with peculiar effects. These objects differ from weapons in that they cannot actively cast techniques but instead bestow constant and 'passive' buffs to the item that can be used by the wearer. Weaker buffs can cost nothing to maintain while stronger buffs and 'activated' effects will consume mana (or chakra) of the wearer. These enchantments must still be submitted as customs can be freely given to other characters. The Fae may have up to 3 enchantments at one time on their person and other characters may have no more than 2. The enchantments are bound to the item, so if it is stolen or sold, the item retains the enchantment. Enchanting requires points in a Fae only Skill.
        Instruments of War: The Fae can bind their spells to items, such as wands and staffs, allowing the item to cast spells for them. This still costs the required resource but eliminates the need for the Fae to speak, instead relying wholly on the motion of the item to cast. (ie flicking a wand, spinning a staff) Only one spell may ever be bound to an object and Fey are limited to 1 object per body rank (E -1, D-2, etc). The object must be submitted like any normal custom. If the object is broken, a new one can be made but must be resubmitted. Crafting an Item requires at one skill point per body rank into a Fae only Skill. A Fae can fail to craft an item.

Combining her ability to heal on touch and the passive aura that she naturally radiates at all times, Masako emits a healing mist within the radius of her aura. This healing mist is relatively weak at E rank, only numbing small bruises and taking the sting off cuts. At every rank the healing power of the aura slowly increases. By B Rank, the aura can close cuts and heal minor sprains. This is not an instant heal but takes time and exposure to the aura to heal. This ability also enhances the feeling of safety and peace created by the aura, reducing the effect that techniques that cause fear or terror by 1/2 rank.
        Forest Princess: Everywhere Masako goes, she passively creates small amounts of plant life, even on surfaces that would normally not support it, such as metal or stone. This cannot be used to grow plant matter on objects created by an opponents own mana. This skill in essence allows Masako to have a source of natural materials at all time. This only creates small amounts of flora such as a patch of grass or a few flowers.
        Forest Princess II: Masako's ability to speak with sprites and other friendly spirits is partially expanded to animals. While she cannot directly communicate with animals, she can convey thoughts and feelings to them. This makes animals and other similar creatures less likely to attack her. This can also be used to limited effect to communicate with An Teaghlach with varying degrees of success.
        Inexplicable Luck: Once per battle or once every 4 posts outside of combat, Masako experiences a brief moment of inexplicable luck where whatever she attempts has a greater chance to succeed or increases the yield of an action. This action can also manifest in the form of actions, such as being able to dodge an attack that would normally land, etc. This also grants Masako a guaranteed chance to always gather at least 1 item per attempt even at a 0 skill level.
        Human Potential: Masako gains an additional Discipline Point at C Rank.

        Truth is Stranger Than Fiction: Often times in the pursuit of the truth, Inquisitors find themselves in the wackiest of places. It has often been said that truth can be stranger than fiction and this is no exception. At any time during any encounter, there is a chance for the encounter to become a "Wacky Encounter" which drastically changes the environment or NPCs in the area, often with hilarious results. This is randomly triggered by the DM as they see fit. Wacky Encounters generally include loot or items that would otherwise be unobtainable and always give at least one [1] item to the party, whether or not the item is useful is another matter. Wacky Encounters can be anything from discovering a random traveling circus in a dungeon to fighting a horde of cannibal dwarfs wearing dresses. The sky is the limit.

        Divine Innocence: At all times, Masako radiates an aura of pure innocence and peace. This aura makes it all but impossible to want to attack her. Even if an individual were able to overcome the effects of the aura, all of their abilities used against Masako would be reduced in strength by one rank. The aura comes with a catch however. As with all medical professionals, Masako is sworn to do no harm and as such, she cannot attack while the aura is up unless an attack of C-Rank or higher is targeted against her, and only within 2 posts of the offending attack. After this two post timer, the aura is once again at full power and must be re-triggered.

    Physical Description: Lupus Wood, a man of naturally blessed power, and a rule over the barbarians as tight as the grip of his iron layered fists. With an appearance that would be reminiscent of a warlord, a glare that can pierce the hearts of those who look into his eyes, and strength that can eradicate nearly any adversary within his general vicinity, very few warriors and even fewer human’s can even get close to him without succumbing to his unethical power. Lupus is a tall and dignified man with long brown hair tinged with red falling across his face and back in natural waves. He is described by some as handsome with an elegant face, and his eyes, a beautiful gold, are visibly not those of a human and give off a mysterious radiance that makes people wither. He has a "perfect, Golden-proportioned body" described as emanating majesty that makes flames surrounding him afraid to come close, and his very soul glows golden. With a massive height of eight feet eight inches and a build of densely packed muscles strong enough to bend a steel girder with his biceps alone. His intensely muscular build is not overbearing like some brute but strong enough to bless him with incredible natural strength and a full set of eight tightly packed abdominal muscles that peak out from his attire. His muscular body is wrapped over in a golden tan that keeps tightly to the muscles and bones of his body, his skin reminiscent of a bronze statue or hard working farmer. His steel skin is woven so tightly in places around his body that he actually contains many different folds and wrinkles in his skin such as around his eyes, at the folds of his knuckles, and around each of his abdominal muscles. Only to add to his look of supreme intimidation, Lupus's hair even presents a sense of fear.

    Lupus's attire gives off the air of a barbarian with pelts taken from various animals alongside beautifully woven silk clothes. His outfit is regal, intimidating, and is ultimately one that an ancient king or a Warlord would wear in his command center. The prime part of his uniform is his pants, woven of a beautiful silk that flows loosely down into a beautiful golden cuff attached to a pair of almost sandals yet not quite, to top that off his toe nails are a dark black due to his wolven blood, alongside his nails as well. Now the next layer of clothing that catches the eye is brown belt lined with golden coins and interwoven silk cloth wrapping around his waist. Attached at the end are many tassels a mixture of blue and purple in color, below which a long flowing red piece of clothing tied magically around him. On his arms are two tight black sleeves with two golden loops on his wrists, above which are intricate tribal tattoos on his skin. Around his neck is a simple yet extravagant choker and traditional egyptian jewelry, flowing around his chest and back. In his hair is a single golden piece of jewelry, connecting to another small piece of jewelry around his animalistic ears. Behind him not apart of his clothing but himself are four bushy yet properly maintained wolf tails.
    Fears: Losing his comrades, dying alone. excessively high heights (picture Shinjuu tree, not insanely godtier high but pretty friggin high.)
    Personality: Lupus is a man of comradery, leadership, control and overall intimidation. As a young Stragari warrior, he was a revolutionist; he hated to see the scattered anomalies and destruction of the world around him. As he rose in power from his initial ranking, his focus and influence grew matching his power. He generally doesn't harm his subordinates but he has been known to teach them discipline through a good beating at times if needed. Lupus is very passionate about his subordinates and more importantly his home as a whole. His want to preserve and evolve them which had been continually attacked and broken into upheavals by the small clans around them, many wars and conflicts is something that cannot be matched when it comes to his sheer will. His passion is referred to as "A devoted King, encouraging a downtrodden kingdom." He looks after his allies with great care. He's also known to lead by example, showing his squad how they should act with the utmost amounts of success. Later on there would be little doubt that he would teach them a lesson in a more personal way. He is also, surprisingly, a rather kind man. He is humble, soft spoken and honest when he is actually spoken to personally; however with his appearance, power, prestige and unnaturally deep voice, many people don't have the courage to speak to him very casually.

    Lupus when not around his own soldiers acts in an apathetic matter, he always seemed serene and indifferent towards other people, even while actually disliking or even hating someone. He is also notably calm, even in battle. He generally acts indifferent to most situations that he is faced with as shown from how easily he is able to come up with plans of action during combat. Due to his life as a Stragari and just being around other people that were barbaric and violent, Lupus is often ruthless in his dealings with people, willing to cut down anyone without a thought if it meant stopping future problems for himself or those he trusts and cares for. Not only this but during battle when enraged he becomes much like an insane barbarian, low growls and angry roars similar to an enraged demon.

    Lupus is a calculating, cunning, and incredibly intelligent man. He is able to carefully look past his feelings towards a person or situation and see the real issues at hand. In battle, while his preference is to concoct strategies based on how his opponents move and act, his natural battle instincts are also highly tuned; a direct result of how many battles he'd been through, constantly sparring and fighting to the death with his comrades. He is capable of slashing another person's head off in just an instant, relying only on the instincts gained from his life. However, his care for his friends and the love he holds towards his deceased family drive him to become even stronger; heading towards his goal to be the strongest being alive. In the face of adversity, Lupus has the strange ability to shun all emotions and take on a blank mind, thinking seven or eight steps ahead of his enemy in order to allow him ample time to react accordingly. Coupled with his overwhelming intelligence and skill, his ability to remove all emotion from his mind and persona is one of his greatest assets, allowing him to calmly deal with any enemy or situation. Like his physical appearance shows, Lupus has very high durability, shown in his ability to shrug off harmful things like burns and cuts with ease.

    Lupus won’t interrupt arguments or fights unless he feels the need to get personally involved in it; having been raised to always let a person deal with a situation on their own, using their own strength. One of the only things that will make him lose his composure is when a man refuses to use his own strength to settle a situation, relying on others who are weaker than them to deal with it. This always upsets the brown-haired man, who believed strength ruled everything, including others. Though he holds this opinion, he would prefer to rarely subjugate other beings to serve him; instead wanting to help guide them, feeling it would be of little use to have servants considering he is able to take care of himself just fine. Alongside this he believes that strength should decide things, he also believed that those who wish to take no part in combat or situations have to make that decision themselves.

    Lupus uses a vast Intellectual approach to battle. something that coupled with his physical strength made him quite a foe on the battlefield. Lupus has been molded into a master strategist, tactician, and analyst by his many years of war and combat, having believed that despite being physically strong, one should also be mentally strong during combat. He is frequently the first person to point out or find a weakness in his opponent's abilities or fighting style and exploit them to his advantage. The weakness of this is that in his attempt to understand and come up with a way to defeat his opponent, he tends to find his opponents below him, simply because they showed a lack of intelligence in comparison to himself.
    History:
    Personal Attributes:
        A Tale of Wolf and Man: Born a half breed, a forbidden union of An Teaghlach and, really, any other race but in this case the Stragari, Lupus has shown indication of his mixed blood in various ways. First, he has no septborn form, instead only having a human body with some animal characteristics, such as a two pairs of tails (scandalous!) And ears atop his head in place of his human ones. Further, his sense of smell, hearing, and vision is higher than a human's, but less than a Septborn or even animals. His body is more lithe, and alacritous, gaining +1 agility. But this comes at a price. If the saliva of a Septborn Wolf comes inside him or he tastes the blood/fluids of a wolf septborn he changes into a full Septborn for one day [about 10 to 20 posts]. During this time he is enraged and beyond sense, in all respects a werewolf of legend.
        • Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: Despite his height and overall bulk, Lupus isn't as massive as other members of the Stragari race. This often gives the impression that he is weaker than normal, or overall just all height and no weight to support it. This is a lie, one told by his body itself. Despite his slim form he receives a half rank [1/2] increase to the Damage of any physical attack, and while enraged, either in full Septborn form or due to a rage-like discipline, it increases to a full rank [1] increase.
        • Born to be Wild: Born and raised in a Sept, Lupus is used to living a rough life. Rough housing and training to the edge of death was a norm, though one meant for fun. As such the fear of death foes not sway him, it inspires him to greatness. Whenever he is faced with a fear effect that induces statistical change, all negatives become positives, and all fear effects immediately puts him into a rage, as if he were in his septborn form but remaining as he is.
        • Bloodwind Rising: While full moons do not give the same effects to a half blood, the Bloodwind does. When the total pools of Mana and Stamina fall below half the Bloodwind strikes. Red vapor will start falling from his eyes, lips, and eventually his limbs as his body increases in size by half, bulging in frame. Power and agility become increased by 2, he grows claws and sharper teeth. If there is a moon present it becomes blood red from the vapor escaping into the air. While in this rage state every strike made comes with an additional D ranked force damage that causes a knockback effect that requires C rank to avoid. However during this time he must use at no less than 1 rank lower than body experience in attacks in every attack. If A rank, he cannot use less than B rank attacks. This state lasts for 10 postage, or until he is restored above half, whichever comes first. If a member of An Teaglach inhales this vapor at all it triggers a Lunar Phase shift within them, against their will. However they are slightly more in control than usual, and they may pay twice the normal cost of mai training human form to resist this effect. Armor does not expand with him, thus if armor is worn the transformation causes 4 Durability Damage to the armor.
        • The Power of All in One: Being a strange combination of multiple races and multiple forms of evolution, Lupus is considered a scientific marvel in some ways; in this form having the Power of many evolution's in his one body, as a result he gains [5] evolution points but he loses half the arcanist and illusion spells from Titan,.


        • Large Build: All Stragari are large in stature, with broad shoulders and overly developed muscles. This allows them to use one [1] size category of weapon larger without Special Training. Example, they may use a Large Two Handed Weapon as if it were a Medium Two Handed Weapon, or a Large One Handed Weapon. This comes at the cost of needing special armor, causing a 25% increase cost to buying armor, and requiring one [1] more material than normal to craft.
        • Berserker Blood: When below one quarter [1/4] of total Stamina value, the Berserker's Blood activates. This causes Power and Agility to increase by fifty percent [50%], rounded up, while Intelligence drops by three [3] points to a minimum of one [1]. The Stragari gets fifty percent [50%] larger in size and weight, and can no longer tell friend from foe as their blood boils in rage. This transformation will last for four [4] posts as a base, and will increase by one [1] post per Experience Rank beginning at D - rank.
        • Bulk: All Stragari gain an increase of two [2] points of Power.

    Disciplines:
        • Berserker: Harnessing the mindless fury of rage, the Berserker gains the ability to throw themselves mentally into a Fury that physically changes their body. By reserving forty [40] Stamina, with a decrease in cost of ten [10] Stamina per two [2] Experience ranks starting at D-rank, the Berserker lets their natural instincts and fury take over. When selecting this Discipline the Berserker selects one [1] of the following properties at D-rank that is triggered upon entering a Fury. While in a Fury, Illusions used against the Berserker acts as one [1] rank stronger. Both activating and deactivating the Fury takes one [1] activation. More effects become available upon taking the B-rank Advanced Training discipline, at which point the character may choose one [1] additional effect.

        → Implacable: While in a Fury the Berserker becomes immovable, and cannot be knocked back by physical or spiritual attacks (such as mighty gusts of wind) up to two [2] ranks higher than the user’s experience rank. Furthermore, grappling attacks used against the user act as one [1] rank weaker.
        • Juggernaut The Juggernaut utilizes posture, breathing, and precise movement to fight. When selecting this discipline the Juggernaut gains access to one [1] of the following three “Words”, which can be activated by setting aside a reserve of forty [40] chakra. This cost reduces by ten [10] chakra per two [2] experience ranks, starting at D-rank. The character may choose an additional Word if they take the B-rank Advanced Training discipline. There is no duration for their effects, and can be maintained indefinitely until switching to another. However, it takes one [1] activation to activate the new effect. Only one [1] can be active at any time.

        → The Word of Wisdom: By focusing one’s mind through measured breathing, the Word of Wisdom keeps the user’s heart beating in the same, steady level and clears the mind of distraction. In this state, emotional based effects are reduced by one [1] rank in strength, and strikes become more precise, granting [1] rank increase to the Damage rank of an attack.

        • Word to the Wise: Controlling ones breathing means putting the flow of blood and energy, every movement of a muscles and even the beat of your heart under direct control. Through this rigid restriction Lupus is able to find every frivolous expense of energy for his activation's and reduce it by one half rank [1/2]. Furthermore, this level of control also alerts him to anything that is directly affecting his body functions, including his own energy, granting him similar reduction in the effects of Enchantments upon him. This is only able to he done while within his Word of Wisdom trance.

        • Skullborn Behemoth: Due to the evolution of his genetics and the alteration brought by the discipline of the Titans, Lupus is able to enter a state of being that is nothing short of inhuman. By paying a cost in mana equal to 2 posts, +2 per rank spent in cost, bones protrude from his flesh into plates that resemble armor haphazardly across his body, with another skull growing over his face with bloody red smears that weep from its eyes for the duration of the power. This form, called the Skullborn Behemoth, increases his size by half [1/2] and his weight by three times [3x]. While in this form his Corpse Ruler spells make thicker, but slower, bones which increases and decreases by one [1] rank respectively. His physical strength is increased, making the strength of any physical attack increase by one half [1/2] rank. If at any point his skull mask is shattered this effect ends prematurely, leaving him confused and stunned for one [1] post.

    → Stamina is born of blood, sweat, and tears, and with this Evo it regenerates faster. Increases all stamina regeneration by one [1] step. If regeneration is normally impossible then gain a passive regeneration of fifteen [1] stamina per post. Normal restoration rules trump this base.
    • Corpseborn || 3
    → Corpseborn begin life with the unusual ability to control the growth of their bone structures, able to regrow lost bones in short order. Too, their bones are denser, harder, and can even be used as weapons if pain tolerence is high enough. Selecting this Evo grants you the ability to utiluze Corpse Ruler as a spell without any medium, and allows you to manipulate your own born structure and growth. Bones grow differently for each member, with bones growing in strange shapes to when exposed to the air. As such, another name is sometimes given to the Corpseborn: Bonedancer.
    • Pain Ignorance || 1
    → Grants a pain tolerance that can be controlled, and shut off, at will. Allows complete ignorance of any pain, or some pain, or all the pain as one decides.
    • Speedborn || 3
    → Birthed with the blessings of some strange entity, the Speedborn gains access to all Speedborn spells and effects, while also gaining a half rank [1/2] reduction in all costs to Dodge things. Furthermore, all movement based Talents and attacks are considered one half [1/2] rank higher in Speed, representing the flow of movement that seems second nature to them. In return, a Speedborn is lighter than average, no matter their body frame, and able to jump higher and leap further because of it.
    • Generator || 3
    → Stored somewhere within the body, perhaps even the heart itself, the Generator Cranker installs a small mana/stamina generator that can store energy over periods of time. At the max, one third [1/3] of the combined total of the character's current pools may be stored within it, the total of which may be split as desired between both energy types. If the Generator ever runs out a surge will occur, stunning the owner for three [3] Activations.

        • Hone Soujuu [Bone Manipulation]
        Description: This control allows the Kaguya to create and bend existing bone as though it were their own. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate the bone they themselves have made. Additionally, any bone that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

        ◇ True Ancestors, despite the lore of being Vampires, are not quite Undead. They are a species apart from Man who feed on blood from all sources of life to sustain themselves. They have a heart that beats, and blood that flows through them, though it is naturally thinner and slower than a human's.
        ◇ While this is not required of you per se, but for role play purposes please consider that being close or empty on BP should make your RPC more feral and prone to attacking anything to cure themselves of their hunger.

While they can still be consumed it just wont offer them energy as it would for a human, not even alcohol effects them.

        ◇ While Ancestors might be bless with eternal youth... you are not immortal, plenty of things can and will kill you if your careless. A stray arrow to the heart or brain isn't something you can regenerate your way out of.
        ◇ An Ancestor has the ability to make a willing person into a Lesser. A Lesser is more in line with what the general populace would consider a "vampire." This would make them a Blood Father.
        ◇ Ancestor's techniques are not fueled by mana or stamina but rather by Blood Points (BP), gained by taking the life essence from another being through feeding. This Spell is gained at the start as a replacement of the original starting ability.
        ◇ You begin with 100 BP as your maximum and will gain and additional 100 BP max per body rank. This may be increased by a further fifty [50] with a Personal Attribute.
        ◇ Once an Ancestor's body reaches maturity they will find that their bodies stop aging as long as they continue to consume the life force of others.
        ◇ An Ancestor's eyes have a passive night vision, allowing them to stalk prey without the need for light to give them away. A side effect of this is that an Ancestors eyes will always glow to some degree when in low light situations, giving a hint at their true nature.
        ◇ All Ancestors will see themselves taking an additional rank of damage from any Fire abilities as well as any Evo Spells that are made up of some mixture of Fire.
        ◇ The sun is in a way an Ancestors greatest weakness but only if they run themselves dry of BP, however even with low BP the sun's rays will have negligible effects on their bodies. Such as dull headaches and irritation to the skin as examples.
        ◇ When bellow 25% of their max BP the Ancestor will find that while out in direct sunlight their stats are treated as a rank lower, as well as any technique preformed by them hitting for a rank less worth of damage. So not only will they be famished but they'll be physically weakened as well.
        ◇ When an Ancestor comes from a mixed race background, they will always inherit the physical traits of the other race as a genetic defense to blend in with their surroundings. Their Teeth and Pale Skin comes with it.

        Fears:
        Kira has a tendency to sticking to places he knows rather well. So, naturally, being woken up to a new time and new place has not only gotten him on extreme edge but also frightened to the point of adopting the 'Kill first ask later' policy

        Due to his new mutation he was gained a new fear, persecution and discovery. The old tales and literature about what he has become makes him question whether he is now a monster like those on the outside of the walls or whether he is a person meant to use these powers to help his new home.

        While he doesn't fear the loss of his own life, the loss of the life of his comrades is another thing all together. He has lost his parents, he has lost squadmates, lovers, and friends. The greatest fear for him is getting close to someone and for them to be killed.

        Personality: Kira was know for his outgoing personality and charm with various groups of people in the shinobi academy in Mizukagure. He had many friends and didn't really need to explore much in other area's in his curriculum. However after the event that transpired at his home thanks to the Mizukage, Hesrik, Kira became distant and stressed. His once vibrant red hair getting dulled in the process. He still retained some friendships from his early academy years but he made sure it was limited to the amount he could count on his hand. His intelligence was made evident when during the second to last year he scored third on the written and physical test for there class. His ambitions however masked a even darker outlook. When he graduated He began voicing his opinions on missions. He started making decisions on the fly that where best suited for either the client or for the situation present instead of the mission parameters. This caused the elders of the village to step in and warn him of his actions. However it was during this very meeting that he was encased in the crystal plague.
        tab Once He emerged nearly seven hundred and 50 years later His outlook on life changed once more. He is now a cold hearten person bent on continuing a personal quest of vengeance that he refuses to willingly get others involved into if he can possibly help it. His blade is sharp, his mind focused, and his body as ready as any weapon he can wield.
        History: Kira started out life in the year 160 B.E.T as a child of the period life was harsh under the guidance of the the current Mizukage of the time. While his rule was just and his laws fair to those who obeyed them to the shinobi, mainly his family, they seemed to only favor the common folk and restrict the shinobi in a way that seemed unjust and tyrannical to them. When Kira was eleven his parents along with twenty other shinobi parents began to speak out against the system even though there kids where enrolled in the academy. Kira was blissfully unaware of these allegations and went through school as normal making friends, learning the trade, evening meeting the mizukage a few times for guest lectures. However when Kira turned thirteen is when the tipping point started. The summer before the academy would start up once again the opposing shinobi parents, now having grown enmass to about two hundred, caused a stir and had to be taken care of. In the dead of night Kira woke from his bed of slumber and saw shinobi loyal to the mizukage charge into his room and ransack the rest of his house. It was in that night he was dragged from his childhood home to be taken to a dormitory for the 'academy elite' Kira took one final look over to his parents and saw them being executed on the spot before the doors closed in on the wagon he was put in.
        tab It was from then on Kira did his best to cover his true intentions to everyone around him. he became more distant to his fellow students and shinobi and focused on raising his skill and grades but not to much to where it would look suspicious to the eyes of the higher brass. As he grew his skills he learned of the legendary swordsman of the mist and one who had slayed one generation in order to have one of there swords. To Kia this meant the world to him as it meant someone in the past had gone up agaisnt his own village and lived to pursue there own dreams. Kira could only hope to have one of those swords one day and let the legacy live on with him. Two years would past and Kira now on the verge of becoming fifteen became a geniun and took on missions of the next two years for the Mist Village. His actions during the missions cause ire in the ranks but they couldnt do much sense he was doing the missions handed out and completing them with not much trouble other than the hiccups of his own honor and ideology in the missions in question. At sixteen Kira was brought forth a board of elders to discuss whether he would be aloud to take part in the chunin exams with his team. they could not deny his skills but they also couldn't deny his own 'individual outcries' on the system that so far had worked for the mist village. Kira had mainly planned on scoffing them off when the famous plague that was going around the world encased him during the meeting and entrapped in that state on august 23rd 144 B.E.T for nigh on seven hundred and fifty years.
        tab Now unbound by the crystal casing Kira was distraught and unhinged slightly by the crystals effects. Having looted some armor, a sword, and some gear to help him on the way Kira embarks on this adventure with no end to seeing how this new world will do to him and those he may encounter.

            Sparkpoint: Born under the sign of the Dragon none embody this the way Kira does. Unlike most human's he was born with a pair of prongs at the base of the tongue that can, by force feeding chakra into them, cause them to click together rapidly and create sparks. With a bit of chakra these sparks are erupted outwards in a fan of electricity that spreads up to fifteen yards per Rank of the chakra burned into its creation.             Rank: E :: Stance
            Description: While easy to learn, masters of Iaijutsu are swift and unpredictable. Rather than the repeated assaults of Meiyo no Shi's Battoujutsu stance, practitioners of Tetsu focus on the one-shot kill made through accuracy, speed, and the element of surprise. It's the quick-draw technique that the samurai are renowned for, the quick brandishing of the blade from an unknown angle making it simple but terrifying. The user holds the scabbard with their offhand, and grips the hilt with the dominant. Depending on the intention with the stance, the user might stand with their feet shoulder width apart or crouched slightly, the majority of their weight on the rear leg for ease in evading, or with the weight on the forward foot for added weight behind their strikes.
            tab There are three branches to this stance: Opportunity, dueling and countering. Due to the nature of the stance as a whole it gains two ranks [2] in speed to the next use of Iaijutsu, Iai Parry, or Iai Feint for a single post after entering the stance.
            tab Opportunity takes effect when the opponent is under a debilitating effect (stunned, frozen, etc) or is unaware of the user's presence (or intent). In those circumstances, the user's strike is increased in strength by one [1] rank.
            tab If the opponent is also versed in Iaijutsu and both agree to the terms of a duel, the outcome of their Iaido strikes will be determined by both Agility stat and a dice roll. The Agility stat is added to the roll. Whoever rolls higher will strike first, likely cutting off the strike of the opponent. Rolling the same number will always result in deflected strikes on both sides.
            tab Counter is the normal use of the technique which occurs when the opponent is aware and not willing to duel. If the speed stat of the user is equal or higher than that of the opponent, the Iaido technique will always land first, making it the perfect move for a counterattack or parry.
            tab Due to the potential strength of Iaijutsu and the focus required to use it, triggering one of the branches' benefits knocks the user out of the stance, and it takes three [3] activations in a single post to enter the stance again.

            Rank: X :: Simple
            Description: The defensive version of Iaidō, Iaikawasu is to draw one's weapon swiftly in response to an enemy attack in order to parry the technique through the speed and weight of the draw. The true strength of the technique lies in the fact that a successful Iaidō or Iaikawasu is dependent on a millisecond in terms of timing. It forces the opponent to consider whether or not it'll be a counterattack or a deflection. Much like Iaidō, it has more than one type of use. There are the full parry and the moving deflection.
            • Full Parry - Plays in with the Counter tree of Iaijutsu. This technique will do as the description reads, leading to an opponent being stunned for one [1] post.
            • Moving Deflection - A more mobile technique meant to be used outside of the rather stiff Iaijutsu stance. The user will slide towards an opposing strike as it's made while paying the required amount of stamina to dodge. Bringing the user's blade up to slide along the opposing weapon or limb results in a nudge on the users part, disrupting momentum and focus. The technique grants a brief half rank [.5] loss in speed for the opponent while the user gains one half rank [.5] in said stat for the purpose of an immediate attack on the next post. If an offensive action isn't taken first on the following post, the stat changes for both sides are nullified.
            tab Kenjutsu - Low Stance
            Rank: D :: Stance
            Description: A stance based on speed and complex strikes that make use of an enemy's lowered eyes. The user keeps their blade's edge lowered in a seemingly lax stance with the dominant leg forward. The hilt is positioned to rest in front of the lap horizontally with the backhand near to the crotch while the front is closer to the thigh of the leading leg. The stance favors upwards vertical strikes as starters to combinations, the momentum from such an attack leading to various striking opportunities. The strength of attacks from the lower position into upwards vertical attacks gain [.5], capping out at [1] if two are performed in a row.

            tab Ryūtsuisen [Dragon Hammer Strike]
            Rank: D :: Simple
            Description: The user approaches the enemy with their blade rising as if they are going to make an overhead strike. When close, practitioners of the style use the opponents knee as a foothold, jumping off it and forcing them into a kneel while turning and bringing the blade down, typically on an opponent's neck. Should the initial jump work, the opponent must pay one [1] rank higher in stamina to dodge the following strike.
            • The opponent must be within two sizes of the user unless they are affected by alternate means (IE heavy armor, chakra weight augments, etc.)
            • If performed after a capped one [1] rank speed from the [Kenjutsu - Low Stance], the strike will come down with an additional [1] in strength, nullifying both the speed and strength increases after the attack.

Their Phasing is centralized on the concept of repressing their hybrid forms to become human-like in their appearance. This transformation is something inherently learned by an Teaghlach born of a Sept after their tenth year of life. Suppressing, or becoming, the Phased form takes two [2] Activations, unless done during a bout of Phase Madness, in which case it takes no time at all. While phased, ten [10] Stamina is kept hostage and cannot be used, or recovered, until returned to their birth state. While within their human form the Septborn will receive only half of the benefits their Phasing grants, as they are truly unable to separate themselves from the beast entirely.
                tab • Styles and Talents that have a more animal-like approach to combat, such as savagery or calling on an animal for representation, may be learned at a one [1] post reduction.
                tab • All Septborn have physical features of one variety or another that hints at their true appearance while in human form.     Physical Description: Pale skin, black hair, with a natural smoky outline to her brilliantly yellow eyes make her a preordained predator. With lips blacker than sin and collar bones to die for it is said Death courts her
    Fears: Becoming prey, commitment, deep deep water
    Personality:
      Bold, sharp, commanding— that is Iilya’s personality. She takes no s**t and knows what she wants. She strongly believes females are the strongest sex of any race and hates that the world outside her bubble is vastly male oriented. Iilya is very detail-oriented and observant, much like the animal of her sept she is meticulous. Details mean the difference between eating and starving, details are everything.

      Iilya has an explosive aggression that no one is safe from, not even children. When angered, she strikes hard and fast whether it be words or weapons. Her intelligence makes her quiet adept at a different type of venom from her fangs, and due to her laziness, the metaphorical venom is the one more often used. She finds a thrill in stripping people of their mental armors and walls and laying them emotionally naked and trembling under her sharp gaze. Her sadistic tendencies to wound other people have caused her to live a lonely lifestyle.

      She lives, packs, and travels for one; she doesnt make friends and she’s never known her parents. Bonds, outside of a purely physical or business standpoint, are not a thing Iilya does. You cant be crushed by loneliness if you’ve never known anything different. Iilya’s soft spot is deeply hidden behind her aggressive personality and she tends to not show her calmer side; a predator must be feared, after all.

      Once you get under her skin, Iilya can be a mild-mannered and even somewhat gentle person. Getting there requires having the courage to stick around, however. When unwinding Iilya likes spas, specifically hot springs. She tends to spend her time outside of the public eye and in her natural form, only returning back to her human form when around others.

      Iilya secretly dreams of a familial life, but buries it deeply behind anger and alcoholism. Should she slip up and form a relationship, her fears of becoming a weaker predator cause her to almost immediately self-sabotage it. Its worked well enough for her so far.

    History:
      Iilya was once a normal girl, living a normal life in Kirigakure no Sato, the Hidden Mist Village with some level of repute. In her youth the mizukage at the time, Inka, was known as a righteous man who thought only of his people and, truth be told, Iilya had a bit of a crush on him. Not in the way of love (maybe?), but of idolatry. He represented what she wanted to do with her life, to be: a helper, someone who could bring to others what she received from him. This was perfectly sane and logical, with her Sept backing her choice as something they viewed as traditionally female, and as such the leadership of her family paid handsomely for her to join the Shinobi academy to learn the arts of the Medic.

      Then he came.

      The crystal curse took Inka one night, or so the story went, and the next morning an emergency vote was cast to bring someone else into the fold of lordship. From the masses was selected a young man named Hesrik, a willowy fellow who looked comickly thin and had an offputting nature that suited well the Mizukage before Inka, Jack Snipe. Not that she knew him, mind, but the rumors and whispers compared the two quite easily. His nature was to be soft spoken, considerate, and careful, something that struck at odds to Inka who was known for thinking and acting quickly, usually finding some heroic way out of a predicament with the greatest good done.

      He unsettled her.

      Going through the academy wasn't a breeze, nor was it difficult. It was something that she attacked methodically, and as such earned many accolades from her supervisors and instructors for having a clinical approach to all things scientific and medical. It was what they believed was necessary for this field, and she had it in spades, even if her grades weren't top notch. As time passed and her studies became more than a typical shinobi's Iilya graduated from the academy and was, of all things, assigned a Jonin rank near immediately. This caused quite a stir in her Sept, who believed something was amiss, but they did not speak against it and instead showed support. She would be assigned to the Mizukage himself, after all, to be an apprentice!

      Her father was the only one who pulled her aside and whispered something to her, something that she was meant to keep hidden: Hesrik had another name, one long forgotten, one not even her Father knew. All he knew was that he'd seen Hesrik before in his youth, before his academy days, and that not one day had been aged on his face since that day. Something was wrong with the Mizukage but her father had no say in anything about village politics, and so he warned her now.

      Tutelage under Hesrik was...odd. As an instructor he was sublime, able to patiently and effortlessly finding challenges for her that always pushed her just a bit further in her studies and always supporting every idea that she had. Even ones she knew he must have known to be foolish, as shown by the complete lack of expression when it came to learning of her failures. Always he pushed her on, but she noticed there was something else to him. For days at a time he would vanish, leaving her to make decisions in his stead, only to return as if nothing had happened. Sometimes she caught him talking to himself, and worse, there were times something unseen responded in tongues that caused her soul to shrivel.

      Then the day happened that she found something she shouldn't have. Something that changed the entire dynamic between the two.

      After listening to your father's words once more in her mind she set off to explore the tower she lived in when Hesrik took his leave. Searching in his bedroom, his office, and even his personal bathroom, she found a small sigil burned into the bottom of a drawer, hidden beneath a false bottom, and only a small amount of chakra was needed to activate it. A blur and scream later found Iilya in a dark, forbidding place, somewhere she'd never been before. Beside her was a medical bed, an operating table with some careful sheets arranged to separate the body upon it from the cold surface below. Approaching she found a young male laying pale upon the bed, strapped down across chest and legs with but a single arm outside.

      As she approached his eyes snapped open beneath shaggy blonde hair, twin orbs that glowed unnaturally the color of rotted slime. Yellow and green warred within those irises, and the pupils were pricks as they focused upon her. He didn't speak, only watched her, and then his free arm moved. That action brought Iilya's gaze to the limb and she jumped back in fright.

      Where his arm should have been lay a black and twisted monstrosity, an amber sack that reflected the color of his eyes pulsing where his pectoral should have been. The thing looked to belong to some demonic being, not this boy who looked barely into his teens. She raised her hand to approach, hoping to help him, when something long and thin, resembling spider webs, fell around her like some sort of sparkling net.

      Before she could move they constricted around her, encasing her in little strange that hummed in such a way that she could have sworn they were laughing. She was turned with incredible force and lifted off of the earth, bound tighter than any hog she'd ever seen, and came face to face with a ghastly sight. Before her stood Hesrik, a gaping hole in his chest where the very things that bound her seemed to spring. His expression was emotionless as always, but for a moment she detected...disappointment? It hardly mattered as she fought to scream, for within his chest there lay no hearts, just writhing tendrils that bore toothed maws that chomped and squelched at her as she watched.

      "You've made a mistake," He began, his expression unchanging as he raised a single hand and began to weave glyphs in the air, something that only he appeared capable of doing in the village. As he finished his hand waving there was a fump as air displaced behind her, though she couldn't tell from what. "You won't understand. Not really. Not yet. I will show you, however. You will see that which waits for us, and why I do as I do." With that he cast her backwards, falling into eternal blackness.
      She was flung into Hell.

      Those memories are fragmented, sharp, shattered bits that made little to no sense. Perhaps for the best, given what she could recall gave her nightmares for years. When she was dragged out it was to a cell filled with enough light that she could not conceivably cast a shadow, and there she remained, for the first time unable to control her form and falling back into her Septborn State. Something no one, least of all Hesrik, had ever seen outside her Sept.

      However long it was didn't matter. When her sanity became her's he was there, sitting in a chair, legs crossed as he stared at her with those bottomless black eyes. Where once she saw emptiness she now saw hunger. Where his expression was empty she now saw consideration. Where once she trusted his words she now second guessed. Whatever he had done was so profound that Iilya could pinpoint the changes with startling accuracy. The part of her that was optimistic was gone, a scar upon her soul. She was damaged in ways that she to this day still doesn't understand, but it changes who she was as a person, and became who she is now.

      Hesrik still never explained who the boy was, only that he was vital to defeat what lay within the darkness she experienced. He wasn't the only one she'd soon find who had fallen in with Hesrik's schemes, as evidenced by the enormous structure of cells she found hidden away in the dark. Just where they were also never got explained, only that it bore no windows and no signs of entrance or exit save for the glyph in the main room. There, guarded by the very boy with his twisted arm.

      Perhaps out of desperation, or just out of the lack of a soul she now felt lost to her, Iilya began to help Hesrik. Whatever his evil, twisted designs if it meant guarding against what she experienced she would give anything. She surrendered her secrets about her kind. An Teaglach. The Family. Family no more, as she couldn't bare to face them after all she did in those dark halls.

      The only good that came from it was meeting the blond boy. She learned early on that his name was Servus, but that he was not to be treated as anything but a subject for testing. Something to do with his arm. She was in charge of bathing him, feeding him, treating him after every test. A ritual, one she had to perform as he lay bound in place, never changing. He never spoke, and she liked to think he understood that she didn't mean him harm. It wasn't until Hesrik told her to wipe her face that she realized every time she worked on him she wept silently.
      This continued for years until a stir in Kirigakure began. Word of missing civilians, strange creatures in the night and strange happenings across the land began to turn the tides of the village against him. How long it had been...Iilya couldn't say. But when she at last came out of her seclusion it was to find the world a very changed place, one where her family compound was in ruin and hadn't been touched in what must have been decades. The last memory she had before the end was watching a crowd of people storming off towards Hesrik who stood before a mighty boy with an enormous blade in both hands. The Mizukage boor a strange book in his hands, one that looked strangely familiar, but before she could ponder further the boy with the sword screamed "No!" in a voice filled with panic before a blinding flash took place.

      Now she awoke, centuries later given the appearance in the sky, and some of that melancholy she felt before had fallen away. Perhaps being free of that tyrants darkness allowed her to return herself to the world of the living, but a more bitter and depressed individual than before.

    Personal Attributes:
        Blighteater: Working as a trained medic and medium during the last days of Kirigakure was horrific, but nothing more so than having to treat the unfortunate victims of the Mizukage’s experiments. After a nightmarish event that brought _______ into the Echoes and exposed her to the crushing blackness of the Hell there she found that her digestion was…different. Now she has learned how to consume that Corruption in another being and digest it, much as she would food, by sucking the corruption through their eyes, mouths, or other orifices into the body, temporarily increasing her regeneration abilities by one step [1] per three [3] points of Corruption consumed. Blighteater allows her to pull out and consume two [2] points of Physical, Spiritual, or Mental Corruption per post of doing so. This causes slight discomfort or major pain, depending on the length of time it takes to suck it out.
        Mothership: Grants the ability for _____ to use her powers as a Medium to enchant up to three [3] additional items of the exact same nature and allow them all to collectively count as one [1] possessed object. There is no additional cost as long as they are the exact same. If they are not the exact same the cost is doubled for each item combined, with compounding costs.

You had a stubborn streak however in secret, slipping out and living a double life as a thief who worked against her family actively. You were adept enough to never be discovered by your family, but met up with a rogue who was said to work for the Lord of Water, a man known to hate the current mizukage.
