Tam sighs and lies down beside the lion. "Who might hurt someone... you or Thyrion?"

Tam pulls him close. "Have you talked to Thyrion about that? He might have something to say, you know... The difference between you and Grady are night and day... different people... different reactions. Would ye give up yer one true friend out of fear... how do you think he feels about this?"

"Are you happy?" says Tam in a soft understanding voice.

"Call Thyrion back. You two need to talk." says Tam firmly. "Listen to what he says first before you do this thing... please. He's not only your salamander, but your friend. He cares for you and you care for him, right? You and Grady are not the same people... trust me, Taro.... it's not going to happen. Talk to him."

Tam sighs. "You need him, Kero... call him back." he says firmly, rubbing the lion's back. "Please... call to him... now... before he gets too hurt to answer."

Tam gently but firmly uncurls him and pulls him close. "Kero... you've been very very angry with me before, right? And with Hope and most everyone around here... has Thyrion ever shown signs of harming us? He won't... know why... because he know how much we all mean to you. Not only that... he's not doped up on drugs or half out of his mind with grief... Please, young one... call him... or I shall do it for you. Do you remember my promise to you... that I will let no harm come to you... I won't, dulcha... I mean that sincerely... Thyrion won't harm us... but it would be best if he tells you this himself... Call him back, dear one... please... call him back.""

Tam bundles him up in several layers of blankets and places a warming spell on them, then he looks for Kero's charm, the one he gave him to keep him warm. Not finding it, he summons Hopian to give him a hand.

Tam sighs and pulls Hopian aside. "I caught him smoking something... and he had Thyrion in the room. I was probably a little heavy handed in my reaction, but I lived through hell with a salamander going off the deep end and not in control... I wanted to make it expressly clear to him that he needs to be careful with his familiar... and now he's dismissed him... completely. " Tam sighs and shakes his head. Probably should have waited until he was no longer under the influence himself... but once was enough for me... there is no way I want to face that again... Only now he is afraid,,, paranoid is more like it... that Thyrion is going to go off and torch us all... I know for a fact it won't happen. Two totally different individuals and two completely different salamanders... I can't get him to call him back... any ideas... other than letting him suffer through this alone and hope he sees sense once he is free of the drug himself?"
