Bez chuckles and heads for the stream to bathe, stumbling to a halt at the edge of the clearing... "Um, Kero... white fox... lots of tails... someone I should know?"
Sitting in a tree... as if that is not odd enough... looking down on him with a wise foxy grin... is a small white fox with a fan of tails, each longer than she is.

"Can it cat..." growls the fox with a grin. "Where the heck are we anyway? I can't seem to get me bearings. Damn reef... And who the hell are you?" she demands of Bez, looking him up and down with a touch of suspicion.

The child is still asleep but when he turns to leave to see how Bez and Lyssan are doing he practically runs over her.
She looks around him and raises one graceful eyebrow. "Now that is how Jor should have been born... with legs and arms and hands... so he could dress himself... then I wouldn't have had to look after him so much..." she remarks in a merry whisper.

"What is this? A nursery?" asks Lyssan in confusion. She turns to look at the cave next to Kerobian's and frowns. "Dang! Now there's two of them! Someone better do something quick or that little one in this cave is going to wake up"

"Talesian?" echoes Lyssan with suspicion. "Bezernia? Kero... Tam's disappeared... no one knows where the hell he went. We've been tearing the universe apart looking for him... and..." she stumbles to a halt as Tam comes walking out of the cave with a babe in each arm looking extremely frazzled.
"Then give me a hand alread.... ummm... hi, mom..." says Tam after a bit of awkward silence.
Lyssan looks at him, then looks at the babies, then transforms into her humanoid kitsune form. "We'll talk about this later... hand me one of those darlings before they both wake the dead..."

Fortunately, Passura's hearing is as bad as he has said it was... nil to nonexistent. And he is too emotionally drained right now for the babies' crying to disturb his rest. Though Kero suspects that had he not been so tired it would have influence his dreams in a rather negative way.
Outside he heards Tam and Lyssan talking. Then finds himself wrapped in a stunned emotional silence. Running outside he sees Lyssan standing in the center of the clearing staring into Ari's face. On her face is a plethora of emotion, none of which is very good.

Tam quickly hands Mara off to Bez and joins him. He starts to reach for the babe, sees Lyssan shrink back and decides that for now, it is best to simply let Ari and the fox queen get reacquainted. Instead he gently leads her over to a stump near a dead fire ring and urges her to sit down.
"Ma... I can explain..." he begins, but she quickly cuts him off.
"I was looking all over for you... to tell you... and you... you already knew..." she whispers in a choked voice. "All over I looked... I couldn't find you... I thought I had lost ye both..."
